Loved the area wish we could have stayed more than one night. Trolly is perfect to get to beach and other sites. Grounds were great I’d come again

First time ever at a KOA! It was the best experience. Every staff member I spoke to was kind, knowledgeable, and spoke highly of the company. I appreciated the bathrooms constantly being monitored and cleaned and especially liked that I felt completely safe and slept really well despite being in a tent. Will be trying other KOAs.

Very nice and clean facilities. Enjoyed everyones kindness except for the man in the pool area. I witness him several times being hateful and impatient with children. There's a better way to talk to people. I will recommend this campground!

My family and I have stayed at a number of KOA‘s over the years. We have three kids ranging from 6 to 16. And I should mention that we do tent camping. The Virginia Beach KOA was absolutely amazing! The amenities were great, plenty of clean bathrooms, and showers. Never had a problem or need to wait. The pool area was amazing and a lazy river. Great staff. And F-18s flying over daily!

Everything was really great. The bathrooms by campsite were under renovation so there were only four open, which was somewhat inconvenient given the amount of campers over the weekend. Overall, a great stay and I really enjoy the campground.

in a tent for my stay, put in the field with NO SHADE during a heat wave. all other tents after my arrival were put in shade, my tent was over 100 degrees every day. by Monday night I had a heat stroke and almost passed out, called the next morning to m about my spot and the manager was so incredibly Rude towards me. And when I was packing up none of your staff stopped to ask if I needed help

The amenities and the location were wonderful. Facilities were clean. My only disappointment is how close campsites are to one another. We had a tent and our site was basically in a field. Just wide open with no privacy or nature to enjoy.

The camp overall is wonderful (although the bathrooms need renovation). Tent sites are well situated, close to bathrooms. However, we had to abandon camp in the middle of 1st night, due to naval jets flying low overhead every 10-15 minutes. Deafening sound, body jarring, headache inducing. Sleep impossible. This may not be a regular occurrence, but won’t risk it again. Day sorties regularly.

Clean restrooms, nice friendly helpful staff. Lovely pools and play areas. Shuttle service to the boardwalk as well is great.

What an awesome campground. Plenty of things to do on site plus a shuttle that takes you to the beach! Everything was nice and clean and the staff were super friendly and helpful! We will be back!

This was our first time staying in a KOA campground, and it was wonderful. The staff were all friendly and helpful, check-in was easy, the grounds and facilities were well-kept, and the atmosphere was relaxed.

Constantly had children cutting through my camp site instead of walking around. It is a liability. Staff should be stopping this behavior. Bathrooms also need a lot of work. Bugs everywhere, floor felt like it was gonna cave in, every bathroom was constantly taken due to half of them being tapped off. Chairs at the pool should also be limited.

The stay started out they gave me a camp site that was all dirt an rock had issues trying to get my stakes from my tent in ground I asked for a site close to the bathrooms due to my mother's health issues an still had to walk a distance then we left a day early due to there was a family of multiple family's with 3 campsites who was loud which was not a big issue but they kept turning on their

Amazing � all the employees were extremely nice and welcoming, they even gave our autistic son's emotional support bunny a warm welcome with loves of love ��� we loved every minute of being there and will definitely be back again in a few weeks

KOA is ans has been our family's happy place for several years. We are always happy to visit, and enjoy all the fun and convince for the kids and adults. We always do a cabin, however this time we did the tent experience for the kids. There is no bad camping experiences at KOA. Pocket park has so many activities for kids and adults.Vending trucks. Easy access to beach and stores with the trolly.

The Virginia Beach KOA is loaded with amenities and excellent very friendly staff who were so helpful for the entire experience of Virginia Beach recommending trolley tickets was a great idea the pools were clean and relaxing the bathrooms/bath houses were clean and comfortable our tent site was beautiful thank you KOA for the first of many experiences �ϋ�

Had a great time as always. Only issue was lawnmower guy who spent a lot of the day going over the same spots and waiting for people to leave so he could mow their lot. That was unnecessary and really loud...disturbed our peace when it didn't need to be cut. We watched one group pack up and leave because he kept mowing through their site while they were still on it. It's loud and grass flying.

We were not happy with our stay. 1, we had tent site and way to close to other campers 2, very loud with police driving by with sirens all night long 3, didn't get chance to do things with family because pool was crowded � and the other activities.

They stay was very relaxing. The staff was super kind. The kids absolutely loved the lazy river pools and the jump pad. Hope to be back again soon.

Great clean facilities, friendly staff, and great camp sites. Our only issue was that we booked unknowingly during "Kick-a-palooza" which was fun to watch, but I wish the tent sites had been booked in blocks and we hadn't been in the middle of the groups of kickballers. We had people walking through our site and partying late into the night. Would have appreciated an event notice.

Pool, playground, and jump pads were great, especially for the kids. I would have liked for quiet hours to be better enforced.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Months at Virginia Beach KOA, and We'd Do It Again We spent 152 days at the Virginia Beach KOA. That's about five months, so this isn't a weekend review. We got to know this place well, and it earned every star. The staff are phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. Whatever we needed, they found a way to make it happen, always with a smile. Over five months you really see who people are, and this team was consistently wonderful. There's always something to do. The activity calendar is packed, especially on weekends. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing what to do. Whether you're traveling with kids or just looking for some fun, you won't be bored. The park is immaculate. Grounds, sites, and common areas are kept spotless. The pool is beautifully maintained, and more importantly, it's a great place for families to gather, relax, and make memories. Management listens. This stood out to us. They welcome guest feedback and are always asking how they can make the experience better. You can tell they care about getting it right. The on-site store has you covered. It's fully stocked with almost anything you could need, which saves a lot of trips into town. Whether you're staying a few nights or a few months, the Virginia Beach KOA is a home away from home. We're grateful for our time here and can't recommend it enough. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special!

My husband and I arrived at the KOA campground in Va Beach on Saturday Oct 17 for a 3 night stay. We had planned on going to the Outer Banks on the 19th but Mother Nature had a different plan with a nor'eastr hitting the island. We were so happy we could stay at the Va Beach KOA till the 21st. They we very accommodating and it's a beautiful campground. We recommend it highly. *****
