We had a very nice stay. Very accommodating and professional. Not much koa can do about parents not parenting their kids in the pool area. Diving and jumping going on pretty regularly while we were there. We will definitely return.

The amenities were great. The staff was friendly. Our site (255) was dirt/sand with big roots, thankfully it didn’t rain. We unfortunately were not able to be outside our camper to enjoy the site due to either a dead animal nearby or smelly neighbors who were incredibly too close.

The trailer location was nice. However was not able to park my truck with the trailer. Found other vehicles without parking passes, parked where I should be able to park. Also many people in the park invited numerous visitors to visit them. The visitors also used the pool. The WIFI was a joke. Never had a full signal even when parked near a WIFI pole. TV could not stream a show.

Stayed 2 nights at 359. No complaints at all. Friendly & helpful staff, clean shower & bath facilities. The Trolly stop right in the KOA, awesome! I am already looking forward to my next visit to Virginia Beach�����

The pools are amazing! They are clean, large and there’s plenty of seating around. The campground is clean and showers are good.

We had a great time at the Virginia Beach KOA! The shuttle from the campground was easy to use. It really made the trips into town, the aquarium and the beach extremely easy. The pool, food trucks and the band on Saturday night were great. It was really quiet and very well maintained. We will be recommending this campground to friends and family!! Sheri & Lee

Good proximity to the softball tournament we were attending. Sites were level and pull thru, always a plus. Lots of campground activities. Just wish we could have had closer sites to our 2 friends. We weren’t far apart but coming in on a Wednesday we thought we’d be adjacent. 2 of us came in together

I really enjoyed it. The staff was great bathrooms clean. The only thing I would like possibly having an adult 9 to 11 swim.

The campgrounds was very well kept, utility hookups all work. The daily live communications on Park activities was just great. The entire staff was friendly and kind.

The campground was amazing! The jets were not as loud as I had anticipated, for those that are curious. The only issue I can see about this campground is the lack of cleaning in the bathrooms and showers. We nicknamed the bath house sewer because how awful they were. Yes we use our camper bathroom but sometimes it was easier for my mom, elderly to use the bath house. She’s not a complainer eithe

We enjoyed our stay. The only 2 negatives was the hour wait in our truck while they finished an electrical repair that had the power off in our site and the constant dust from the gravel lanes. Campground was very clean and well maintained.

We had a wonderful stay while there. The bathrooms were really nice, our campsite was clean and just big enough for our needs. The only really complaint I have is that one of the campers around us parked the opposite way they were supposed to park, made it kind of awkward. We really thought someone from the campground would make them turn around and park correctly but they didn’t.

Simply amazing! I started keeping track of names but I would run out of space! Everyone was honestly top notch! Went out of their way to make our stay amazing! Pools is clean and workers friendly! Store is great. Propane was a decent price! I have seen some reviews complaining about the heat, what did you expect coming to Virginia Beach in July. Yes it was hot, but expected! Loved the air traffic

It has most everything you need except food on site. Trolley service to downtown. Our site was horrible as we were next to full timers that had so much stuff we couldn’t open our curtains on the drivers side. Also had dirt and tree roots on our right side. We loved the lazy river at the pool. Grateful for the WAVE shuttle trolley that takes you to the beach. Everything was clean. Staff were super friendly and helpful. We loved our stay!

laundry room is very hot with no fans or air conditioning and i think you need more pools but over all very clean and quiet. staff is friendly and helpful. book vacation for next year already.

I stayed at the KOA in Virginia Beach in the extended stay section for 3 years and it was the best experience the staff was the greatest in the office, store and the staff that work around the grounds they are one of the best crew I have the experience of knowing, they are the friendliest and most helpful people. I will miss the personnel they really care for the guest. thank you

This place was great. Lots of stuff for our kids to do. Just a short drive to the beach. We road the trolley. Kids ride free.

Overall it is nice. Highly suggest that full time, seasonal, and working campers all be in the same area and require better upkeep of their sites. Some where well kept while others were not and was not a great look for KOA when they park a KOA work golf cart at their site. Just not a good look overall.

Awesome RV Park. Lots of activities for kids! Pool was very large and even had a lazy river! Very quiet at night. Shuttle Service to downtown VB was a nice alternative.

Beautiful facilities, very clean, friendly staff. Close to beach, Aquarium, dining and grocies/necessities. Lazy River and Jump pad were a huge hit for my granddaughter. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Have been coming there for almost 5 years. This year was the first time anything bad had happened and unfortunately we will not be back. Make sure that you dont leave anything of value in your vehicle etc because there is a thief on the loose who uses a reader. When we went to the office for help we weren't treated very great. Koa employee acted like they could care less that we were robbed.

I wanted to thank the Virginia Beach KOA staff for making our stay wonderful. When we lost power, Jake and another staff member were out at 3 a.m. finding the problem. They relocated us to a premium site, and their kindness made all the difference during the heat wave. Thank you!

Staff was great! Weather was HOT! Electric at our site was good most of the time . We did have several brown outs. Not sure if it’s was VB power or what? Site was good. The trees even offered a little much needed shade! Pool started out great. Massive heat & people quickly warmed it up. Too bad there is not a way to cool the water. All in all we had a great time.

We celebrated our 43 anniversary there this past week. The facilities were all clean and staff accommodating. It’s a large campground but still a family atmosphere. We totally enjoyed the lazy river and I did the zip line at 69! Bucket list � . We will definitely go back.

this past weekend was so hot so we asked for a site in a shade - it was in a shade only in the evening but during the day it was directly on the hot sun so we asked to be moved and got another site. That night there was a power surge and 8 campsites lost power including ours&badly damaged our elec.system. We will be asking for repair compensation - fingers crossed- will post a follow up review!

been coming to Va Beach KOA for several years now. We were there for 4 days over the 7/4 weekend have to say I was quite disappointed in the lack of activities. You all knew you would be fully booked for a holiday weekend and the only thing there was to do is go to the pool. There should have been cookouts, games, more bands, movies. Very disappointed. Out camp site was mostly dirt 242.

Overall campground was great. Bathhouse could be better. Smells horrible as if there may be a sewer problem. More food options in the store would be good. Pool area is beautiful! Will stay here again

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Months at Virginia Beach KOA, and We'd Do It Again We spent 152 days at the Virginia Beach KOA. That's about five months, so this isn't a weekend review. We got to know this place well, and it earned every star. The staff are phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. Whatever we needed, they found a way to make it happen, always with a smile. Over five months you really see who people are, and this team was consistently wonderful. There's always something to do. The activity calendar is packed, especially on weekends. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing what to do. Whether you're traveling with kids or just looking for some fun, you won't be bored. The park is immaculate. Grounds, sites, and common areas are kept spotless. The pool is beautifully maintained, and more importantly, it's a great place for families to gather, relax, and make memories. Management listens. This stood out to us. They welcome guest feedback and are always asking how they can make the experience better. You can tell they care about getting it right. The on-site store has you covered. It's fully stocked with almost anything you could need, which saves a lot of trips into town. Whether you're staying a few nights or a few months, the Virginia Beach KOA is a home away from home. We're grateful for our time here and can't recommend it enough. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special!

My husband and I arrived at the KOA campground in Va Beach on Saturday Oct 17 for a 3 night stay. We had planned on going to the Outer Banks on the 19th but Mother Nature had a different plan with a nor'eastr hitting the island. We were so happy we could stay at the Va Beach KOA till the 21st. They we very accommodating and it's a beautiful campground. We recommend it highly. *****
