Wonderful staff, beautiful well maintained location and amenities. The pools and lazy river are my favorite part of our stay, so relaxing and especially quiet during the week. Showers and bathrooms are clean and fresh everyday. The trolley goes down to town and the aquarium. Great way to get around.

The park is very nice at first glance but the sycamore trees are too close to the campsites and drop balls and limbs on the top of the camper especially in a wind event. It woke us up at all hours and sounded like bullets coming through the top.

We stayed 2 nights, last minute reservations on the KOA app, after high winds on the bridge would not allow RV’s to cross. Enjoyed the area so much we extended our stay for an additional night. The entire staff was awesome. Watching the Navy jets fly over were an added bonus.

My wife and I loved it, it was our first experience. We love the location lot 222, it was spacious. The weather was nice. We didn't get to make it to the air show, but seeing the jets frying over head was just enough. The food from the food truck was good. I never seen so many RVs all kinds that was exciting as well. Our stay was awesome..Yes we look forward doing it again.

This was our first stay here and we really liked it. The property was really nice and the staff went above and beyond anytime we asked them anything. The 30 amp pull through sites are a little closer to each other than we like but we already re booked for next year and just picked a different site.

We had an RV site and rented a cabin. We asked if the RV site could be close to the deluxe cabin. They did not disappoint.

Traveled w/ our travel trailer from PA for the 1st time since purchasing in July. We go to NAS Oceana every September the last 10 years, but stay in Williamsburg. This KOA was convenient, clean, and great for our 3 children. 2 oldest ventured off to play Gaga ball for hours. Staff was pleasant and had answers to questions. We will definitely be back for next years air show.

We were a last minute reservation and the campground found a spot for us during a very busy weekend. We were very grateful. Unfortunately we were in the unpaved area of the campground and the dirt and dust was overwhelming. Every vehicle that drove by..cars, golf carts, and campers sent a cloud of dust swirling. It was impossible to avoid. We were not able to sit outside without breathing dust.

What a wonderful park!! Bring your bikes… there’s a trail to the boardwalk. )They rent bikes as well if you need one). Great office. Nice laundry. Pristine pool. Restrooms are super clean. Showered are separate stalls, which is nice, although full bathrooms are even better. Great playground. And a terrific place to catch the Blue Angels as they do their turnarounds for the air show!

Love the campground but with all the staff that are present the speed limit needs to be enforced or get speed humps/bumps or something. It was ridiculous how fast people drive down the roads, especially the main one.

As always, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the place is always kept clean, check in and out is a breeze. We will absolutely continue camping here.

The campground is very nice, each site has a very nice table, chairs, fire ring and glider chair. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well. Our site had the pet fence, it had a dog house & a trashcan with dog poop bags. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because sitting outside we got eaten up by bugs. So make sure to Bring Your Bug Spray!!

We aren't really RV campers in spirit. We are more out in the woods types but as far as RV camping goes they were so nice, fun, accommodating and the activities were so great. We don't have kids but we definitely feel a little sad we weren't here when our daughter was little. My only suggestion: bathrooms are very clean but there is a really strong sewage smell in both the restrooms and showers.

Having been camping for over 14 years, we have to say that this is bar none the best campground we have EVER been to. This KOA is a great place as the location is perfect as well as the grounds, camp store (which has all kinds of necessities, clothing and gifts) and staff! This is such a nice KOA. Lots for kids to do. Love the Trolly that takes you to the beach. Our only issue was site 42. If you are assigned this site be prepared to put up a tarp around half your awning as the flood light on the play ground shines right at you and it eye level. If you don’t sit out at night you are good. It is for security so nothing they can do!!

I really enjoyed my stay. It wasn’t too loud. I was impressed for my first time camping with just me and my husband. And I love the way the staff text you to let you know what’s going on what time things start I just love the whole overall organization of it and the staff was very kind. I’ll definitely be back again.

This campground is so very nice. Lots of different sites available throughout. The features on some of the sites are incredible - chairs and great landscaping. The bathhouse restrooms were convenient. Even though we didn't participate, the Labor Day festivities seemed very nice: live music, food trucks brought in, etc. Check-in and check-out is super easy. Great location, easy to get in and out of

This KOA is very clean, and you have a very friendly staff, so much to do like swimming and movies and Bands to listen too. Very relaxing. Buses running into town and food trucks too. I look forward to coming every year!!!

We stayed for 26 days and it was a great stay. Employee interaction and assistance is outstanding, very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the live bands and weekend activities. Pool area was fantastic, super clean and maintained, something for all ages. We have a 65 lb. poodle and the facilities for walking him were spacious, safe and clean. The KampK9 area was always kept very clean and well stocked

Your campground is beautiful with many activities. I would give you a 4.5 if I could. I was surprised a big beautiful campground like yours didn't have a bigger K9 Park where BIG dogs could run. Plus, it would help if you put stones or some type of chips on the areas where there is no grass so the furries didn't get muddy when it rained. Other than that issue, you have a beautiful campground.

The fire rings are waaay to close to the road. I ran one over when leaving to go out to eat. I sustained damage to my car as a result.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Months at Virginia Beach KOA, and We'd Do It Again We spent 152 days at the Virginia Beach KOA. That's about five months, so this isn't a weekend review. We got to know this place well, and it earned every star. The staff are phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. Whatever we needed, they found a way to make it happen, always with a smile. Over five months you really see who people are, and this team was consistently wonderful. There's always something to do. The activity calendar is packed, especially on weekends. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing what to do. Whether you're traveling with kids or just looking for some fun, you won't be bored. The park is immaculate. Grounds, sites, and common areas are kept spotless. The pool is beautifully maintained, and more importantly, it's a great place for families to gather, relax, and make memories. Management listens. This stood out to us. They welcome guest feedback and are always asking how they can make the experience better. You can tell they care about getting it right. The on-site store has you covered. It's fully stocked with almost anything you could need, which saves a lot of trips into town. Whether you're staying a few nights or a few months, the Virginia Beach KOA is a home away from home. We're grateful for our time here and can't recommend it enough. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special!

My husband and I arrived at the KOA campground in Va Beach on Saturday Oct 17 for a 3 night stay. We had planned on going to the Outer Banks on the 19th but Mother Nature had a different plan with a nor'eastr hitting the island. We were so happy we could stay at the Va Beach KOA till the 21st. They we very accommodating and it's a beautiful campground. We recommend it highly. *****
