Had a great time. It was nice to have an escort to our campsite. The staff was wonderful. Campground was clean and is near the Virginia Beach boardwalk and beach area. The trolley was an easy way to get there. Enjoyed the pools and lazy river, the entertainment was fantastic and the food trucks were a nice change of pace for the day. Look forward to camping there again.

We chose a large patio site since we pull a 42' 5th wheel. We were put at site 130. It's perfect! Large, level, quiet space around back of campground. We never had one complaint. Campground is level, well maintained, landscaped, lots of breathing room! While we don't usually use many of the amenities this place has tons and everywhere we looked were smiling faces, I like that you can keep your costs down by choosing a simpler site or upgrade if you like a little more comfy. After years of camping this has become one of my favorite resorts,

Absolutely amazing! My family and I have stayed at a number of different KOA campgrounds. This is definitely among my favorites! The amenities are wonderful, the staff was great and overall had a great experience. The tent Camping site was one of the biggest I've ever had. The kids and adults all love the lazy river, and the pool set up. It has not only the lazy river, but two pools, and they splash pad. They played great music at the pool as well. The bathrooms were plentiful and clean. The service was wonderful as well as all the people. Would love to be able to go back there soon! I also have to mention that as a aviation geek, I loved seeing and hearing the fighter jets, F-18s, flyover during the day. It was never too early in the morning or late at night when they were flying, so it wasn't an issue as far as sleeping. However, they are very loud so that is something you need to be aware of. But to me, it only added to the experience in a positive way! While there we did visit the USS Wisconsin, a World War II era battleship. I would highly recommend that especially for anyone that enjoys history. Additionally, while on the way to Camping, our car broke down in Pokomoke city. Luckily a local shop had their mechanic come in and replace our alternator the same day. This meant we didn't arrive to camp until 9 o'clock instead of our expected 2 o'clock check-in. Despite this, we had no issues checking in after dark. I let them know we would be arriving late and they left the reservation Camping pass and everything in the box for us when we arrived, which was great. Very thankful to all the staff there.
