We stayed 152 days at Virginia Beach KOA and loved it! The staff are phenomenal—friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. Weekend activities are so plentiful it’s hard to choose. The park is immaculate, and the spotless pool is a great place for families to hang out. Management truly welcomes feedback and wants to improve. The fully stocked store has almost anything you need. Highly recommend!

We stayed over Halloween weekend. They put on a trunk or treat for the kids. They do an amazing job. Staff was throughout the campground to help out. The communication about what was happening and when was outstanding.

Very well maintained grounds. Plenty of space btwn sites. Good communication from staff. Lots of activities in which staff encouraged guests to participate. Easy access to beaches, base, many other activities, areas, One of the nicest KOAs I’ve stayed with.

This was our second time here and it was fantastic! You all went above and beyond for HOLLOWEEN!!! Everyone was very kind, polite and helpful. We will be back again next season. Thank you for an AWESOME/relaxing time!

Would have been a 5-star, but a lot of the area is dirt and dust. Some more gravel would make it perfect!

Site was a little small for the cost and uneven but the facility had lots to offer for families. Staff was very kind and helpful.

Absolutely stunner of a KOA. Would have liked more disabled showers. Would prefer additional trash pick up during the evening. The staff was incredible. We really enjoyed the fall festival events.

Check in was super easy. Everyone I encountered during my stay was friendly, helpful and truly engaging. The campsite and all the amenities were impeccably kept. Participated in my first trunk or treat and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Camp ground overall is really nice lots of things going on WIFI was good my only complaint we were given site that was really to small couldn't park truck on site unless at an angle then couldn't us fire pit sites are a little close

Lovely, clean and convenient KOA. Excellent location. Helpful and courteous Staff. Fun activities for kids and adults. This KOA seems to be very safe.

This was our second time staying. It was drastically different the second time. We had someone's music blaring until 2am. We called the office multiple times to report. We couldn't stand the constant smell of marijuana all evening so we cut our stay short and we left. It was not a great experience for a family with young children.

We were there to visit my dad at a retirement community nearby. We have never been to Virginia Beach or at this KOA location before. We loved the place. So clean and well maintained!

Sites are described as gravel when I fact they are mostly dusty dirt many kids racing around of motorized bikes very noisy add the jets flying overhead and sirens from highway kids screaming very crowded it’s only a matter of time before there’s a accident someone’s pet of child sorry can’t recommend

We love this KOA. Clean and many activities for kids. We especially are grateful for this year’s stay as we had a sudden death in our family and had to leave 4 nights early. They graciously refunded our 4 nights which they didn’t have to do - we were ok to pay the full amount. Good and caring people. We’ll continue coming back each year.

We had a paved site with a patio that was level and clean. We were located close to the office, pool and most all the amenities. We haven't stayed here in a while but found the campground to have more shade than when we were there previously and there appeared to be more amenities. The pool was open which we hadn't expected because it was after Labor Day. It looked very nice.

A lot of gravel, unlevel, mowed the leaves and did not care if the dust got all over me. I was outside and the dust went all over me. Water pressure is the worst I ever had in all the 49 states I have been in

Have stayed at the VB KOA for several years and it’s always been a great experience. The grounds a meticulously maintained, the pool is clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Very nice and clean. All employees were pleasant and polite. The only negative thing is some of the items in your store have an outrageous high price. Good thing Walmart is not far away.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Months at Virginia Beach KOA, and We'd Do It Again We spent 152 days at the Virginia Beach KOA. That's about five months, so this isn't a weekend review. We got to know this place well, and it earned every star. The staff are phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. Whatever we needed, they found a way to make it happen, always with a smile. Over five months you really see who people are, and this team was consistently wonderful. There's always something to do. The activity calendar is packed, especially on weekends. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing what to do. Whether you're traveling with kids or just looking for some fun, you won't be bored. The park is immaculate. Grounds, sites, and common areas are kept spotless. The pool is beautifully maintained, and more importantly, it's a great place for families to gather, relax, and make memories. Management listens. This stood out to us. They welcome guest feedback and are always asking how they can make the experience better. You can tell they care about getting it right. The on-site store has you covered. It's fully stocked with almost anything you could need, which saves a lot of trips into town. Whether you're staying a few nights or a few months, the Virginia Beach KOA is a home away from home. We're grateful for our time here and can't recommend it enough. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special!

My husband and I arrived at the KOA campground in Va Beach on Saturday Oct 17 for a 3 night stay. We had planned on going to the Outer Banks on the 19th but Mother Nature had a different plan with a nor'eastr hitting the island. We were so happy we could stay at the Va Beach KOA till the 21st. They we very accommodating and it's a beautiful campground. We recommend it highly. *****
