We had two cabins 716 & 725. Both were fine when we checked in the first day. Then on the second day my mom‘s cabin 716 had an awful smell when you walked in. The man in charge of housekeeping came & he noticed the smell as well but couldn’t find anything. Mom could’ve moved, but my she didn’t want to move all her stuff that she had already set up. We LOVE this KOA!!!

We had a wonderful time. We rented two cabins and the park was kind enough to make sure they were together.

Really nice stay especially for the price and outside was definitely a party but luckily the cabins blocked all the outside noise. Only thing I'd recommend is a lifeguard for the pool area. There's a lot going on and honestly we saw a newborn being left out to the side of the pool in the sun and very obviously getting a sunburn. Parents didn't care and a lifeguard on duty would have stopped it.

With a change in tournament dates, I called last year after they changed the date and made sure to confirm it was a four bunk and queen cabin. The they only gave me a deluxe 4 with only two bunk beds. I even called to confirm I had FOUR bunk beds the week prior to my visit. We had to have someone sleep OUTSIDE in a hammock. There was no silverware, or plates because we planned for the other cabin.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Months at Virginia Beach KOA, and We'd Do It Again We spent 152 days at the Virginia Beach KOA. That's about five months, so this isn't a weekend review. We got to know this place well, and it earned every star. The staff are phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. Whatever we needed, they found a way to make it happen, always with a smile. Over five months you really see who people are, and this team was consistently wonderful. There's always something to do. The activity calendar is packed, especially on weekends. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing what to do. Whether you're traveling with kids or just looking for some fun, you won't be bored. The park is immaculate. Grounds, sites, and common areas are kept spotless. The pool is beautifully maintained, and more importantly, it's a great place for families to gather, relax, and make memories. Management listens. This stood out to us. They welcome guest feedback and are always asking how they can make the experience better. You can tell they care about getting it right. The on-site store has you covered. It's fully stocked with almost anything you could need, which saves a lot of trips into town. Whether you're staying a few nights or a few months, the Virginia Beach KOA is a home away from home. We're grateful for our time here and can't recommend it enough. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special!

My husband and I arrived at the KOA campground in Va Beach on Saturday Oct 17 for a 3 night stay. We had planned on going to the Outer Banks on the 19th but Mother Nature had a different plan with a nor'eastr hitting the island. We were so happy we could stay at the Va Beach KOA till the 21st. They we very accommodating and it's a beautiful campground. We recommend it highly. *****
