We’ve stayed at about 75 KOAs over the past few years, and VB is one of the top KOAs!! The spots, the amenities, the staff, all top-notch. We loved it so much, we extended our stay a few days. Great location, easy access via car or bike path to beaches, the aquarium, restaurants. They have two pools and a lazy river and have food trucks, live music. As I’m typing this, I want go back right now

The campground is clean, staff is friendly, store has the right amount of everything and the pool area is fabulous! Our first time using the trolley and it was so convenient! We love the buddy sight....even though the squirrel thought we were encroaching on his territory..lol. Thanks for a great week!!

We had a wonderful vacation at Virginia Beach koa. The pools are fantastic. The sites aren't too close together. The bathhouses were always clean. Camp store is well stocked. Employees are friendly and helpful. My only recommendation is for a book exchange (I ran out of reading g material!)

This is a well organized, well supported campground. Plenty of trees, several ammenities such as restrooms and showers located throughout the campground. I loved the pool and lazy River. The managers need to add more covered tables around the pool.

Very good time. Cabin very nice n worked well for the group. I only ask that they clean the fans n AC filters. Both were filthy. Large dust came off fans like rain, I asked twice for cleaning but no response. Otherwise very nice with plenty of things to do n Trolley to bch.

It is a beautiful campground, clean, well maintained, nice amenities. The cabin while it seemed clean had an awful smell. It smelled very musky and full of mildew. There was a faint smell of smoke also from a certain substance, but I don’t blame the park for the acts of a guest. In addition you can tell there was water damage on the floors since it is wavy and bumpy in spots.

Clean & well-maintained campground. Conveniently located and plenty to do within the campground. Suggestion would be to increase the size of the pickleball court so that players can retrieve/hit balls from outside the court lines without worry of turning an ankle on the edge of the concrete.

We got bed bug bites and that was not pleasant. Other than that we had a great time. Also there is limited privacy, the cabins are very close to each other.

We enjoyed this campground very much. Everything was maintained nicely. Bathrooms were clean. Staff was very friendly and the pool was wonderful and the lazy river we could stay in it all day long. It was great. Can’t wait to go back.

Summer break week with grandkids Awesome pools, lazy river, weekend live music n food trucks. 5-15 min to the beach, were lucky to have perfect swim conditions and visit aquarium

Everything is excellent except for one thing. Everytime we stay there, the shower smell like a porta potty. Yes, the showers back up to the toilets on the other side but seems maybe the ventilation could be better or have some air freshener circulating.

We had a wonderful stay with our family. Everyone was very kind and helpful. The shuttle to the beach made a wonderful, easy trip back and forth.

We enjoy this campground on every stay! Great outdoor activities for young & adult sized kids. Love the cabins! Staff is excellent and very friendly. Splash pad is the coolest! Arrrrgh!

We had an amazing stay! The cabins are very well maintained and clean. We like the pool buy it could be a little cooler ;)

Well kept facilities, clean bathrooms, available staff. Constantly someone around if anything is needed, and all are very friendly. Although it is right by a busy road, you cannot hear any of it. The jets flying overhead are the worst of the noise. The site does a great job of enforcing rules and we had no issues with quiet hours or any unruly behavior. This location is near everything!

The support staff were very friendly and helpful. This was our first stay at a KOA campground. We stayed 4 nights at a tent campsite with electricity that we reserved. It was convenient to a bathhouse but there was no cold water. We were told the showers were not plumbed correctly and it was on the list of things to be fixed. Great location. Our dog Jake enjoyed running on nearby Croatan beach!

It was super clean and peaceful. There was a decent of things for my daughter to do. The notifications about the food trucks were awesome. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The door sweep on my cabin, was nonexistent. Bugs could get in and cold could get out. I did enjoy the cabin though. There were quite a few doors on the brown bath/restroom building that were a pain to close and lock.

Clean grounds and buildings. The staff was all very friendly and helpful. The texts during our stay are helpful. The pool area is great. Like that we could pick our site before arriving since we plan on coming back several times next season. The trolly service is great for going into the resort area. Love the daily flyovers from Oceana.

Some employees came on my camping site. My tent site and started mowing right next to my fire pit while I was cooking food and disturbed me and my family and also was rude and abrasive with me. I don't know if I will ever come back again

Our third time staying here and it's still one of the best there is! John can be a little tense but everyone is so kind and the campground is kept very tidy! Lots of activities and food trucks too. Thank you for another great stay!

The whole experience was so effortless. We had such a good time! The location is perfect for families. We enjoyed all the amenities that they have. The pool area and lazy river were awesome!!

We just stayed in 5 different KOA campgrounds and this one was the best the cabin was in great shape and it was extremely clean the beds were beautifully made and John who showed us to our cabin was extremely helpful and so was the lady at the counter it's in a great location and the trolley was a huge perk for getting into Virginia Beach. We would definitely come back and stay here again

The best KOA we have stayed at. Everyone is very friendly and helpful, professional and diligent in their customer service! They all take pride in their work. We enjoyed the store, food trucks, concert, and all the amenities provided. You really don’t even need to leave the park. On site Trolley service will take you to the Virginia Beach Oceanfront:) Thank you all for a great vacation.

This was our 3rd time here. our stay was good except our air conditioner broke in the middle of the night so it was a very uncomfortable sleep They were prompt the next morning to fix it with no other issues. Another thing is we were hoping for more activities for the kids. When we stayed several years ago I believe they had a activity a night, but I guess now its only offered on the weekend

Virginia Beach KOA is absolutely beautiful. There is so much to do. During my visit, they had live entertainment. They text you daily with the vendor providing food and the available food choice. They also text with activities. There’s a trolley that operates from 9am to 10pm. You can go to the beach, aquarium, or just ride I will definitely be back.

Loved the campground! Well maintained, employees were friendly. Pools were nice, lazy river is great idea but with all the kids jumping in from the sides and swimming under people and standing everywhere in the water, it was not really relaxing. Overall we had a great time and will definitely be back �

We really loved the campground. We just wished our spot would’ve been cleaned off a little bit better before we arrived and also noticed that the Wi-Fi did not work at all. It was unplugged so we had no Wi-Fi service.

We stayed in a rustic cabin. By the weekend there was not enough parking spaces for two vehicles. At our cabin. The rustic cabin is essentially tent camping with AC. Thank goodness for that! The pool was absolutely amazing! The camp store great selection of items necessity and fun finds. We really enjoyed our stay only giving 4 stars because there was no common fenced area for dogs that we found.

Well maintained and great amenities. Kind and helpful staff. Bathrooms tended to get dirty quickly because guests were not at all careful to leave them close to how they found them. Would have liked to see some recycle bins.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Months at Virginia Beach KOA, and We'd Do It Again We spent 152 days at the Virginia Beach KOA. That's about five months, so this isn't a weekend review. We got to know this place well, and it earned every star. The staff are phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. Whatever we needed, they found a way to make it happen, always with a smile. Over five months you really see who people are, and this team was consistently wonderful. There's always something to do. The activity calendar is packed, especially on weekends. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing what to do. Whether you're traveling with kids or just looking for some fun, you won't be bored. The park is immaculate. Grounds, sites, and common areas are kept spotless. The pool is beautifully maintained, and more importantly, it's a great place for families to gather, relax, and make memories. Management listens. This stood out to us. They welcome guest feedback and are always asking how they can make the experience better. You can tell they care about getting it right. The on-site store has you covered. It's fully stocked with almost anything you could need, which saves a lot of trips into town. Whether you're staying a few nights or a few months, the Virginia Beach KOA is a home away from home. We're grateful for our time here and can't recommend it enough. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special!

My husband and I arrived at the KOA campground in Va Beach on Saturday Oct 17 for a 3 night stay. We had planned on going to the Outer Banks on the 19th but Mother Nature had a different plan with a nor'eastr hitting the island. We were so happy we could stay at the Va Beach KOA till the 21st. They we very accommodating and it's a beautiful campground. We recommend it highly. *****
