I would have given 5 stars but the broken shower area locks made me drop a star off i pointed it out to the cleaning crew and they took a note. I did love the pool area and site it was great staff at office was always friendly and helpful. Really enjoyed our stay.

We stayed 2 nights, last minute reservations on the KOA app, after high winds on the bridge would not allow RV’s to cross. Enjoyed the area so much we extended our stay for an additional night. The entire staff was awesome. Watching the Navy jets fly over were an added bonus.

We were in town to see the Blue Angels. With the campground being only a few minutes away from the air base, this was a very convenient location. The campground seems to be very well maintained and has plenty of amenities. Our cabin was clean and comfortable, and the staff members we spoke with were incredibly friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this KOA.

This was our first time staying at a KOA and we absolutely loved it, the bathrooms were always clean, and there were so many activities for our kids to do that we didn’t realize you had. Also the staff was great with restaurant recommendations. Top tier facilities, and we are already planning our next trip to VA beach

My wife and I loved it, it was our first experience. We love the location lot 222, it was spacious. The weather was nice. We didn't get to make it to the air show, but seeing the jets frying over head was just enough. The food from the food truck was good. I never seen so many RVs all kinds that was exciting as well. Our stay was awesome..Yes we look forward doing it again.

This is one of the nicest campgrounds I've stayed with. The cabins were beautiful and cozy. There is very close proximity to other campers, but that wasn't an issue for my stay. All the other campers were nice and respectful. Loved the pool area and the jumping pillow!

This was our first stay here and we really liked it. The property was really nice and the staff went above and beyond anytime we asked them anything. The 30 amp pull through sites are a little closer to each other than we like but we already re booked for next year and just picked a different site.

We had an RV site and rented a cabin. We asked if the RV site could be close to the deluxe cabin. They did not disappoint.

Traveled w/ our travel trailer from PA for the 1st time since purchasing in July. We go to NAS Oceana every September the last 10 years, but stay in Williamsburg. This KOA was convenient, clean, and great for our 3 children. 2 oldest ventured off to play Gaga ball for hours. Staff was pleasant and had answers to questions. We will definitely be back for next years air show.

We stayed in one of the camping cabins this past weekend for the Airshow. We had an absolute blast and loved the cabin!! Loved the food trucks, our little 2 year old daughter LOVED the pool & playground, and the employees were all so nice and friendly. One, I believe Jake was his name, took our family photo on the big blue chair by the camp store!!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. Every staff member we spoke with was friendly and helpful. The campground was very clean and there was a lot of extra things for everyone to enjoy. We will definitely be using your campground for our next stays in Virginia Beach.

We were a last minute reservation and the campground found a spot for us during a very busy weekend. We were very grateful. Unfortunately we were in the unpaved area of the campground and the dirt and dust was overwhelming. Every vehicle that drove by..cars, golf carts, and campers sent a cloud of dust swirling. It was impossible to avoid. We were not able to sit outside without breathing dust.

What a wonderful park!! Bring your bikes… there’s a trail to the boardwalk. )They rent bikes as well if you need one). Great office. Nice laundry. Pristine pool. Restrooms are super clean. Showered are separate stalls, which is nice, although full bathrooms are even better. Great playground. And a terrific place to catch the Blue Angels as they do their turnarounds for the air show!

First time visiting Virginia Beach KOA, we had a cabin and enjoyed it thoroughly. It was fully equipped with everything you might need, we took some of our own things not knowing next time we know. The amenities are great, the personnel are courteous and helpful. We went for a special event but we will most likely return just for a weekend getaway.

Love the campground but with all the staff that are present the speed limit needs to be enforced or get speed humps/bumps or something. It was ridiculous how fast people drive down the roads, especially the main one.

As always, the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the place is always kept clean, check in and out is a breeze. We will absolutely continue camping here.

The campground is very nice, each site has a very nice table, chairs, fire ring and glider chair. The bathrooms were nice and clean as well. Our site had the pet fence, it had a dog house & a trashcan with dog poop bags. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because sitting outside we got eaten up by bugs. So make sure to Bring Your Bug Spray!!

We aren't really RV campers in spirit. We are more out in the woods types but as far as RV camping goes they were so nice, fun, accommodating and the activities were so great. We don't have kids but we definitely feel a little sad we weren't here when our daughter was little. My only suggestion: bathrooms are very clean but there is a really strong sewage smell in both the restrooms and showers.

We love everything about this KOA!! The staff, the grounds are immaculate, the pool, the pocket park, all of the amenities are the best!! We stay at a lot of KOA’s this one by far is the nicest we’ve ever stayed in! Can’t wait to be back!!

We are annual visitors to VaBch KOA and always enjoy our stay. Have to say though that we are not happy about you doing away with cable TV. I think there are just as many people who do not stream TV as do. Hard to get local channels also. Otherwise, great campground, wonderful staff, and we'll be back next year. Even without cable.

The facility is very nice and the staff were nice! The only issues I had with the cabin was the door did not lock properly. You could just pull the door and it would open. Also the bathroom floor and tub floor need some work. It definitely felt like you were going to fall through if you stepped in the wrong spot. Overall it was decent for $180 a night though it wasn’t worth it

Having been camping for over 14 years, we have to say that this is bar none the best campground we have EVER been to. This KOA is a great place as the location is perfect as well as the grounds, camp store (which has all kinds of necessities, clothing and gifts) and staff! This is such a nice KOA. Lots for kids to do. Love the Trolly that takes you to the beach. Our only issue was site 42. If you are assigned this site be prepared to put up a tarp around half your awning as the flood light on the play ground shines right at you and it eye level. If you don’t sit out at night you are good. It is for security so nothing they can do!!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Months at Virginia Beach KOA, and We'd Do It Again We spent 152 days at the Virginia Beach KOA. That's about five months, so this isn't a weekend review. We got to know this place well, and it earned every star. The staff are phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. Whatever we needed, they found a way to make it happen, always with a smile. Over five months you really see who people are, and this team was consistently wonderful. There's always something to do. The activity calendar is packed, especially on weekends. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing what to do. Whether you're traveling with kids or just looking for some fun, you won't be bored. The park is immaculate. Grounds, sites, and common areas are kept spotless. The pool is beautifully maintained, and more importantly, it's a great place for families to gather, relax, and make memories. Management listens. This stood out to us. They welcome guest feedback and are always asking how they can make the experience better. You can tell they care about getting it right. The on-site store has you covered. It's fully stocked with almost anything you could need, which saves a lot of trips into town. Whether you're staying a few nights or a few months, the Virginia Beach KOA is a home away from home. We're grateful for our time here and can't recommend it enough. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special!

My husband and I arrived at the KOA campground in Va Beach on Saturday Oct 17 for a 3 night stay. We had planned on going to the Outer Banks on the 19th but Mother Nature had a different plan with a nor'eastr hitting the island. We were so happy we could stay at the Va Beach KOA till the 21st. They we very accommodating and it's a beautiful campground. We recommend it highly. *****
