Sites are described as gravel when I fact they are mostly dusty dirt many kids racing around of motorized bikes very noisy add the jets flying overhead and sirens from highway kids screaming very crowded it’s only a matter of time before there’s a accident someone’s pet of child sorry can’t recommend

We love this KOA. Clean and many activities for kids. We especially are grateful for this year’s stay as we had a sudden death in our family and had to leave 4 nights early. They graciously refunded our 4 nights which they didn’t have to do - we were ok to pay the full amount. Good and caring people. We’ll continue coming back each year.

We had a paved site with a patio that was level and clean. We were located close to the office, pool and most all the amenities. We haven't stayed here in a while but found the campground to have more shade than when we were there previously and there appeared to be more amenities. The pool was open which we hadn't expected because it was after Labor Day. It looked very nice.

A lot of gravel, unlevel, mowed the leaves and did not care if the dust got all over me. I was outside and the dust went all over me. Water pressure is the worst I ever had in all the 49 states I have been in

This was my first visit and the cabins were great. Everything you could need was provided (except a sponge). More so than any cabin we have ever stayed in. We booked with the intention of Halloween festivities as they took place there the previous year but unfortunately, they didn't start until the weekend after our stay. My only feedback would be to have Halloween activities all month.

Have stayed at the VB KOA for several years and it’s always been a great experience. The grounds a meticulously maintained, the pool is clean and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Very nice and clean. All employees were pleasant and polite. The only negative thing is some of the items in your store have an outrageous high price. Good thing Walmart is not far away.

We have stayed at this KOA several times. It’s always a pleasure staying there. It’s a good location with nice amenities and with very helpful and friendly staff.

We stayed in the deluxe cabins. Our friends also stayed in a cabin. We did not know that we would not be side by side or in the same group of cabins. The office would not move us, stating that we were "locked in", whatever that meant. No one was ever in any of the cabins in our area, so we were not sure why they could not move us together. Still had a good time. We will stay again!

I was unsafe at your campground. I became the target of preteen boys and their parents. I was verbally and physically assaulted and my camp site was vandelized.

A little tight for our 42 foot 5th wheel and truck. Nice campground. The sounds you hear are acorns falling from the Oak trees.

You have a very nice campground. I stay at KOA’s because I am looking for location to area attractions. You have that for sure. I don’t like how close and crowded the sites are to each other at most KOA’s. I thought that your showers are dated and need updating. I would not hesitate to stay in the park in the future

This KOA is the BEST! Very clean and well kept. Beautiful pool area, and multiple adult/kid outdoor game venues. Definitely big rig friendly, easy in/out and located in a great area of Virginia Beach with many restaurants, shops, and things to do.

From the minute we called asking questions about a stay until the minute we checked out we had fantastic service. We rented a deluxe cabin and golf cart. Cabin was extremely clean and the golf cart was in excellent condition. Every worker that we saw, they stopped and spoke to us. Workers were out cleaning constantly and asking if we needed anything. We can't wait to come back again!

Very well kept grounds and vacilities. Friendly, helpful staff. Loved our spacious lot with the paw pen. Made camping with my 3 dogs very enjoyable. The only complaint that I had was the firewood that is sold at the KOA store simply won't burn. My guess is it's not seasoned wood? Got some kiln-dried wood from Sam's Club and was finally able to burn it by mixing it in.

staff was awesome. that was the top thing about our stay. they picked up trash all day...and evening!! and were friendly every time we interacted with them! sites are roomy enough and well kept. we laughed at, but appreciated firewood delivery! thank you

The shower bench collapsed and ripped out of the wall when I sat down to get dressed. After calling the emergency number, no one came to our site to check if I was okay. They waited for me to show up at the office and barely seemed concerned, but they had an incident report ready to be filled out. Luckily, I only had a few bruises but I definitely feel that it could have been handled better.

During g our 26 yrs of motorhoming, we have used KOA campgrounds all across America & also Canada. They never disappoint & always maintain their standards. Example, most Canadian campgrounds only offer 30amp service while 50amp service is standard for KOA, a plus for our all electric coach.���

I’ve stayed at a lot of KOA campgrounds and I think this is the best one I’ve ever been to. It has a lot of good sites and a lot of things to do during your stay, they also have nice bathrooms and showers along with a well stocked store that doesn’t close at 4:00 like some others I’ve stayed at.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Five Months at Virginia Beach KOA, and We'd Do It Again We spent 152 days at the Virginia Beach KOA. That's about five months, so this isn't a weekend review. We got to know this place well, and it earned every star. The staff are phenomenal. Friendly, helpful, and so accommodating. Whatever we needed, they found a way to make it happen, always with a smile. Over five months you really see who people are, and this team was consistently wonderful. There's always something to do. The activity calendar is packed, especially on weekends. Honestly, the hardest part was choosing what to do. Whether you're traveling with kids or just looking for some fun, you won't be bored. The park is immaculate. Grounds, sites, and common areas are kept spotless. The pool is beautifully maintained, and more importantly, it's a great place for families to gather, relax, and make memories. Management listens. This stood out to us. They welcome guest feedback and are always asking how they can make the experience better. You can tell they care about getting it right. The on-site store has you covered. It's fully stocked with almost anything you could need, which saves a lot of trips into town. Whether you're staying a few nights or a few months, the Virginia Beach KOA is a home away from home. We're grateful for our time here and can't recommend it enough. Thank you to the whole team for making our stay so special!

My husband and I arrived at the KOA campground in Va Beach on Saturday Oct 17 for a 3 night stay. We had planned on going to the Outer Banks on the 19th but Mother Nature had a different plan with a nor'eastr hitting the island. We were so happy we could stay at the Va Beach KOA till the 21st. They we very accommodating and it's a beautiful campground. We recommend it highly. *****
