I always have a wonderful stay there. The only issue I have is the cable connection is not the best. A lot of the stations kept buffering. Made it hard to watch TV.

Great campground. Lots of amenities. Clean, well maintained, staff was friendly. Bathhouse was very clean; I loved the fact that the showers were separate from the toilets. On that note, i informed the staff that one of the toilets was clogged and water was flowing, fortunately it was just water, within minutes there was someone there taking care of the problem. Loved Virginia Beach KOA.

We enjoyed our stay in the cabin. Although upon cleaning before we left I discovered some roaches in the cabin. I would also recommend adding a TV and a fridge to the cabin.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was clean and comfortable had everything we needed. Nice place for families with pets.

Everything was great except the handicap bathroom shower. It was not working. The pen for the dogs was locked, however I did call and they came to unlock it.

Camp ground clean and very well kept. The managers wife Barb and their dog Kiwi were charming and a real treat to visit with on their walks about the camp ground. Really brightened our stay.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The property was kept clean and comfortable. There were many amenities that we didn’t take advantage of on this trip but certainly will in the future.

All of the staff were very welcoming and friendly and the amenities offered at this KOA are wonderful. I love the little cabins that they offer in the wooded area it’s such a perfect spot to stay. The camp store is also awesome and it’s packed with almost anything someone could need during their stay.

I like the off-season. No complaints really. Nice individual bathrooms near us. What I don't like is the stupid endless campfires. Not a fire guy.

The grounds are well maintained and the staff, such as KC and the young lady in the shop, are all very friendly. I would have to say it’s one of the best maintained grounds I have stayed at.

The noise level was very high. Too many drag racers on the nearby highway. Also, the band was loud. Other than noise level, it was very clean and had great amenities! Store was well stocked and very friendly staff.

The facility is clean but it felt like false advertising… they said the cabin would be in woods and I laughed out loud what this campground considers as the woods. Our cabin had no privacy and they placed us right on the parking lot despite no one being there other than one other couple the whole weekend so we were just on display for all the camper people constantly going by. I’d go elsewhere

We were really there for the oyster roast on Saturday. The KOA store/office was very clean and presentable. The roads were very clean and well maintained. The staff was extremely helpful and guided us into our spot. Our spot was very clean and ready for use.

Loved the campground itself.The problem we had is that I called PRIOR to booking and asked very specifically about the date we were staying if there were Halloween events and trick or treating. I was told yes we do it really big. We check in and were told there was no Halloween events happening that night.ON HALLOWEEN NIGHT.Wouldn’t have gone if I’d known. HUGE waste of my money. Ruined trip

Staff very welcoming. Employees answered and explained in detail about camp grounds. Gave extra information about area restaurants and stores in the Sandbridge area.

I rented seven cabins for our year yearly camping adventure. We’ve been doing it every year for 11 years this year is the first time that a couple of the cabins had minor issues when we notified the front desk. Those issues were corrected immediately is KOA is so warm and friendly and very accommodating. We all enjoy so much coming here. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Everything was fine. Went to the aquarium and also had lunch at Waterman’s on the beach, wasn’t raining but very windy. Went to pick up supplies at commissary too

Having major house renovations, we chose to tent camp. I think Mother Nature knew when we were coming each time, and pounded us with rain, but we took precautions and dealt with it. We met some nice people. It disappoints us that the tent area is closing until spring. Our house is nowhere near complete. Great experience here. Zero complaints.

Our first time here we stayed in a 4 person cabin but found it to be too small for 2 adults and our 4 legged child (husky) - our second visit we decided to rent a 6 person cabin - though we can't figure out where 4 more people would sleep - there is a separate bedroom with a queen size bed and a livingroom/kitchen with a sleeper sofa (i would guess it to be a fullsize so big emough for 2 more people). The cabin was comfortable for us there was a bit more room since it was a handicap cabin (we aren't handicap- its the one they gave us). We had to becareful with where the shower head pointed or else the bathroom floor would get soaked. The cabin did not have any storage/dresser for clothes - just a small clothes rack to hang your clothes. Other than that we enjoyed our stay and will be returning again in December- staying in the 8 person cabin this time.

Very nice KOA, close to very busy road and the flying pattern of the navy base. Coin laundry room. The first one we have seen this year. Asked for a late checkout due to working from the motorhome they said no problem there is no one coming in. I said thank you and she said 80$ and you can leave anytime you would like. Seems like there are different procedures for different KOAs?

We love this KOA. The cabins are clean and well maintained. The grounds are kept very nice. The amentities are top notch. The staff is wonderful. They have a shuttle that takes you to the beach and aquarium. The pool, lazy river and splash pad is great whether you are travelling with kids or not. Just a really nice place.
