Cool enough spot. Pretty popular it seems. First time there for us. The pool is cool. They have Bingo by the Lyon's club and had a free burger and hot dog with all the fixins dinner to celebrate koa birthday. Pretty cool. However, there is no phone coverage at all (AT&T) and the laundry facilities were down in 2 buildings. I'm sure they'll address it soon tho

We have stayed here so many times and have enjoyed it every time. We enjoyed this visit as well, the staff is very nice!!! Although the grounds are going down hill.

Pro: big sites, nice tree coverage, big store, friendly staff, some programs, can purchase gas & diesel, dual water spigots on RV sites. Con: pool is nasty (chemicals way out of balance - water was so cloudy), propane refill doesn’t function in high heat.

Great family place. Lots of trees & shade. I’ve been coming 33 years.You come once you will likely return. Campground was clean.The local boat ramp was out of water but U can drive 20 minutes to put in. WiFi is weak.The snack shack was a huge disappointment, closed more than it was open with no signage.1 of 4 of laundry's was open. Store was well stocked. Much better run this year. Thanks Michae

The bathrooms were dirty and rarely had toilet paper or paper towels available (bring your own or go without). The campground was extremely noisy until late into the night. Signs state that anyone operating a motorized vehicle had to have a valid drivers license, but there were clearly some children under the age of 10 that were driving around the campground. Camp sites were too close together.

Payed for a pull through that was not even close to a pull through for me. Had logs in front of it making it impossible to pull through. Had to leave a day early while we had no cars behind us and I could back out. The pool was also very cloudy and dirty. We paid good money to stay there and about $300 in fuel while we were there and probably would not come back.

Enjoyed our stay for sure! The bathrooms were always clean and the campground is well kept. If I had one recommendation it would be to eliminate the dirt around the pool to keep it a little cleaner but very thankful for the pool since the lake has all but dried up in this area :) The staff was friendly and almost always smiled when crossed paths. I would definitely stay here again!

Loved the feeling of camping in the forest. The trees provided great shade and extra privacy.

37 year customer. Thank you for trying to keep the restrooms cleaner. Have a designated check in line. Trinity KOA RV and tent prices are comparatively too high leaving many open sites. Improve pool lawn area, (maybe artificial grass) and cleanliness of pool. Store looks good and full. Gas prices good. Thank you Mike for the changes you have made. God bless

We had an RV site and cabin. They put us in a site that was as close as possible to the cabin, that was great. The campground is so pretty, very wooded with large sites. It is definitely our favorite. Lake Trinity is very low this year, so campground lake access was dry, but we only had to drive a few miles to get beach/lake access. Also found a beautiful creek that we hung out at.

We were there about 25 minutes before we packed up and left. We went to use the restroom & the smell of death was so overwhelming I was gagging on the way. KOA couldn't bother to remove a dead deer that was in the area between the highway and their campground. It was >10 feet from the pool, campsites, playground, etc. There is no chance they couldn't smell it. Just plain laziness

He loved all the activities this year especially movie and karaoke night, love all the new seating additions to the pool. This was our second annual trip and we already booked for next year, we love this KOA!

It is great to see this KOA well run and managed again. Michael is very personable and makes everyone feel welcome and at home. The Mini Kat is a vital part of the experience but continues to be a problem with unknown hours and failing equipment. We hope that you can find someone to run this concession who will take it seriously.

Great campground. So many fun events going on for the 4th of July. Not much to do with the lake as it is so low, but fantastic ATV riding on the dry lake bed.

Paid more than $80 for a hook up site which was really REALLY not worth it. We only stayed to visit friends one night then left for a BLM campground (Douglas City - $10) - in the heat, I would rather dry camp with a clear path to the river than have the convenience of hook-ups. A hot place like Trinity needs clear indicators for how campers can get to the river/lake.

dirty campground and not kept up at all. Campsites never cleaned up by anyone, roads are dirty and very over priced ($75.00 night). You are much better off going to another campground. As a long time camper, this place was the worst i have ever seen. I had no idea that the lake is about 2 miles from the campground. It sounded as if this place was right on the lake, no way. It's all dirt.

We had a fantastic time at Trinity Lake KOA as usual. My family has been coming up here for over 40 yrs. We loved the fact that it did not feel as restricted as other KOA‘s. One of the workers John was the best! He helped us with so many things and was super knowledgeable. My only complaint is that the pool could’ve been kept a little cleaner… I realize that people were out w/Covid though…

Staff very friendly, helpful & courteous. Lots of activities to do in the campground. Thank goodness for the shade those pine trees gave us! We especially enjoyed the large pool for swimming laps in the morning. Sad to see no water in the lake but we heard stories of how beautiful it was. Let’s hope the lake can recover by the time we come back! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

The lake is dry, which no one bothered to mention when I made the reservation. Area temp was surrounding the 100 mark, and everything was super dry. The area I wouldn’t recommend BUT the park was clean and the staff was really nice and friendly. And, I do recommend the fries at the hamburger stand

We booked this KOA because we are a member and it was at a lake area where fishing was touted to be excellent. We felt very miss represented by the area and website on arrival. When questioning the front desk about the location of the lake they were very vague and evasive come to find out the lake boat access was more than 11 miles away. Felt very much deceived by the website marketing.

Over all very nice and well maintained campground. Sites were clean and level. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the peaceful evenings with our campfire. The only thing we’d recommend is more attention to the pool area. Pool was dirty and tables disgusting. We would absolutely come back though.

The staff was quite welcoming and friendly. Loved that the sites were truly among the trees rather than a few sparse trees. Great overall experience. Looking forward to coming back!

We have stayed at the Trinity Lake KOA several times. This trip, we were there mid-May. Kind of disappointed that the snack bar wasn't open.That being said...we really enjoy the campground and the people are very friendly. The nearest "real" grocery store is about 30 min away so be prepared. Looking forward to our next visit!

The office staff is very friendly and accommodating. The RV Park is located 8n shady area, under beautiful trees. Every site has a full hookups, picnic table and fire pit. They have heated swimming pool, very clean and appealing. There are several buildings around the park where the toilets, showers and laundry rooms are located. They pickup garbage daily. One of the nicest place We will be back.

We stayed in a group site over Memorial Day weekend and there was plenty of space for all 12 of us (3 large tents). I only wish the bathrooms weren't so far away from the campsites but it was still a great stay! The kids loved the pool and the lake was beautiful

A absolutely gorgeous spot!! The cabin we stayed in was clean and I felt so comfortable letting my toddler run around. There's rentals from what I saw on the packet, a kids playground and building with crafts, and a little mini golf course which is so cool. It's right next the lake with gorgeous views which I thought was so cool. The little store has so much too! The staff was so extremely sweet, crazy helpful, very personable! I'm so glad we stayed and we'll be back soon! Thank you for a great family vacation.

One of the best KOAs we've ever stayed at. Our kids as well as us had a blast there, from the kids club to gaga ball and everything in between. Brittany in the kids club was amazing as was her husband who helped us in the store and ran the corn hole tournament. We loved Bingo night and the lovely young man announced the numbers. We hope to be back next year!
