We’ve been staying at Trinity Lake KOA & campgrounds for 40 plus years. For the last 3-4 years we’ve stayed in the cabins. During that time we have not seen any repairs needed in them. This year we actually saw a mouse run down the hall! Previous years we’ve heard them in the walls. The staff is usually friendly & accommodating. For the price per night, it seems like things should be better.

Worst location. No places around to watch. - no wifi - no TV even in a deluxe stay. - nothing there to enjoy. Forcing us to kill time within the facility. Paid $200+ for night for nothing.

Great location, lots of trees. Sites may be close, depending on which site you get. No issues with power. We ran our AC, fridge, and microwave all at the same time.

Michael, Zach, and all the staff were so welcoming, engaging ... they really made our stay more fun. The service, activities, grounds upkeep were all fantastic. My grandkids loved the mini golf, visiting the store, playground and pool. We feel like this is a best kept secret in our Redding community, just an hour and a half away. Really appreciated the extended stay discount!

Fantastic campground and definitely big rig friendly. Our 39 foot travel trailer fit perfectly in our site. Staff in office/store are great. Only thing missing was wifi. And one suggestion: cigarette butts left by previous camper were littered on our site 069. Sweeping in between would be appreciated. Little kids are curious and we wouldn’t want our child picking them up.

The staff is extremely kind, happy and helpful. The management this year was a nice change.I have been enjoying the area for over 50 years. While the lake is at its all time lowest level, which has kept many away there is plenty to do and enjoy.

We were hoping the change in ownership would bring improvements to the campground but did not see that this year. Bathrooms were dirty and shower backed up but was not fixed all week. All but one (4 machines) laundry facility is closed. No internet service is available to campers. Staff was not friendly.

Cool enough spot. Pretty popular it seems. First time there for us. The pool is cool. They have Bingo by the Lyon's club and had a free burger and hot dog with all the fixins dinner to celebrate koa birthday. Pretty cool. However, there is no phone coverage at all (AT&T) and the laundry facilities were down in 2 buildings. I'm sure they'll address it soon tho

We have stayed here so many times and have enjoyed it every time. We enjoyed this visit as well, the staff is very nice!!! Although the grounds are going down hill.

The cabins really need an upgrade. Ours feels very antiquated — particularly the bathroom. It looks like a couple of the cabins had upgrades in the front yard (new fire pits) and it would be nice if all cabins had that to help minimize dust/dirt. Our back deck had boards that needed to be nailed back down and were unsteady. The bears got into the trash cans out front of our cabin multiple times.

Pro: big sites, nice tree coverage, big store, friendly staff, some programs, can purchase gas & diesel, dual water spigots on RV sites. Con: pool is nasty (chemicals way out of balance - water was so cloudy), propane refill doesn’t function in high heat.

Great spacious Tent �� sites. Beautiful secluded area. No Data No Wifi my family and I could just relax and enjoy camping! No interruptions from Work or Home! Thank you Trinity KOA! Great Staff!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. New manager Mike and his team were very welcoming, prompt and efficient. Worked hard to provide great customer support. Nice job on renovating the store. Nice selection of items for sale. We will be back next year!

This is a beautiful KOA! I was in tent site 129 which is surrounded by tall trees. It was so quiet and peaceful! The staff are super friendly and pleasant to talk to. The store is well stocked and they even have a gas pump. The restrooms and showers are very clean. Just behind the KOA is a vast valley with miles and miles of trails perfect for riding a dirt bike or side-by-side.

Great family place. Lots of trees & shade. I’ve been coming 33 years.You come once you will likely return. Campground was clean.The local boat ramp was out of water but U can drive 20 minutes to put in. WiFi is weak.The snack shack was a huge disappointment, closed more than it was open with no signage.1 of 4 of laundry's was open. Store was well stocked. Much better run this year. Thanks Michae

The bathrooms were dirty and rarely had toilet paper or paper towels available (bring your own or go without). The campground was extremely noisy until late into the night. Signs state that anyone operating a motorized vehicle had to have a valid drivers license, but there were clearly some children under the age of 10 that were driving around the campground. Camp sites were too close together.

Payed for a pull through that was not even close to a pull through for me. Had logs in front of it making it impossible to pull through. Had to leave a day early while we had no cars behind us and I could back out. The pool was also very cloudy and dirty. We paid good money to stay there and about $300 in fuel while we were there and probably would not come back.

Pool dirty. Bathrooms by tent camping area closed they said for rest of season. Dead deer by pool reeked and they said they could not move it.

Great facility. The restaurant was closed? The cabins need a little maintenance. And the lake has dried up. But I had a good time and would book with them again.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Grounds were in poor shape. Pool VERY dirty. Lighting burned out and out of order. Did not feel safe there anymore. Bathrooms were closed, so had walk walk through a campsit to other bathrooms. Sewer smell very bad. Dead animal smell near pool was awful…. Enjoyed our stay for sure! The bathrooms were always clean and the campground is well kept. If I had one recommendation it would be to eliminate the dirt around the pool to keep it a little cleaner but very thankful for the pool since the lake has all but dried up in this area :) The staff was friendly and almost always smiled when crossed paths. I would definitely stay here again!

37 year customer. Thank you for trying to keep the restrooms cleaner. Have a designated check in line. Trinity KOA RV and tent prices are comparatively too high leaving many open sites. Improve pool lawn area, (maybe artificial grass) and cleanliness of pool. Store looks good and full. Gas prices good. Thank you Mike for the changes you have made. God bless

We had an RV site and cabin. They put us in a site that was as close as possible to the cabin, that was great. The campground is so pretty, very wooded with large sites. It is definitely our favorite. Lake Trinity is very low this year, so campground lake access was dry, but we only had to drive a few miles to get beach/lake access. Also found a beautiful creek that we hung out at.

We were there about 25 minutes before we packed up and left. We went to use the restroom & the smell of death was so overwhelming I was gagging on the way. KOA couldn't bother to remove a dead deer that was in the area between the highway and their campground. It was >10 feet from the pool, campsites, playground, etc. There is no chance they couldn't smell it. Just plain laziness

Our tent site was a little walk from the restroom which would not have been bad if the restroom was open! The restroom was out of order for our whole stay. We actually left a day early because of it. Also the lake was not accessible from our site. The information about the campground was misleading, it said you could rent boats to go out on the water but there was no water close by.

We love this campground and have been coming for 33 years! The couple of complaints I have about this season were that the bathroom between loops 1&2 was not opened.. the entire time i was there and the only laundry machines were in the annex bathroom. Also, you really need a security person on weekends driving through loops and correcting bad camper behavior. There was some crazy things going on.

We love Trinity Lake been coming over 30 years. Main issues: Not/little hot water in the #1 bathroom. If you are in the store to make a purchase and there are people in front of you checking in you can wait up to 30 minutes or more just to buy ice! This needs a solution where other staff can jump in to check those people out or the check needs to be GREATLY streamlined.

He loved all the activities this year especially movie and karaoke night, love all the new seating additions to the pool. This was our second annual trip and we already booked for next year, we love this KOA!

It is great to see this KOA well run and managed again. Michael is very personable and makes everyone feel welcome and at home. The Mini Kat is a vital part of the experience but continues to be a problem with unknown hours and failing equipment. We hope that you can find someone to run this concession who will take it seriously.

We stayed in a group site over Memorial Day weekend and there was plenty of space for all 12 of us (3 large tents). I only wish the bathrooms weren't so far away from the campsites but it was still a great stay! The kids loved the pool and the lake was beautiful

A absolutely gorgeous spot!! The cabin we stayed in was clean and I felt so comfortable letting my toddler run around. There's rentals from what I saw on the packet, a kids playground and building with crafts, and a little mini golf course which is so cool. It's right next the lake with gorgeous views which I thought was so cool. The little store has so much too! The staff was so extremely sweet, crazy helpful, very personable! I'm so glad we stayed and we'll be back soon! Thank you for a great family vacation.

One of the best KOAs we've ever stayed at. Our kids as well as us had a blast there, from the kids club to gaga ball and everything in between. Brittany in the kids club was amazing as was her husband who helped us in the store and ran the corn hole tournament. We loved Bingo night and the lovely young man announced the numbers. We hope to be back next year!
