One-night primitive tent site camping. Everything was soaked and muddy due to a thunderstorm just before our arrival, but obviously not the campground's fault. Late check-in was friendly and easy, and the campground seemed well-appointed and in great care. Bathrooms were super-clean and well maintained. Far enough from the highway to not realize it is there but close enough for easy access.

We were concerned pulling through in the size of our tent site but we were so happy to be placed at R. Cove! It was a beautiful site. Everything about the campground was great! The kids loved the activities and special events, and we felt at home. The bathroom was nicely kept until it came to Sunday morning - left side had a toilet flood and by Sunday morning there was no toilet paper.

It was great for the quick night we were there. Pros-lots of kid friendly activities. Friendly staff. Felt safe. Con- loud at night. Young toddlers tent camping struggled with other campers.- screaming. Wood expensive on site make a buck but dont gouge. Lack of bathrooms near tent camping. If 2 ppl are showering you have no facilities for others to potty. With kids that sucked.

I can see a lot was done. The bathrooms were clean but I do see they need to patch up holes and plaster and paint areas. Ever though the campers don’t respect the property you have the daunting task of keep up with the property. I do understand your issue but still needs to be addressed. As a whole it was a pleasant experience.

We really enjoyed staying at this KOA! We had a wonderful time. I didn't give a 5 star for the following: (1) tent sites were lacking mulch/grass cover for the ground. It was wet when we arrived so it was very muddy (2) the gravel roads were not ideal, couldn't push stroller and just overall not very safe (3) no close bathroom near tent sites. But amenities were great and we would come again.

Got to be quicker with refilling the bathrooms. Luckily we had our own toilet paper. Other than that, perfect stay as always.

First tent camping experience went amazing. Cannot say better things about the tent sites. So much to do for kids! Definitely coming back!

Campsite was great. Hardly any bug problems. Bathrooms were clean. The pool and pond were fantastic. My boys loved the fishing. We will be back. Hopefully at R cove campsite again. Thank you to the staff!

Shelby was the nicest camp worker when we were staying there, also very helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you manager for locking our campsites in. The bathrooms need more hooks for hanging things and the bathroom has hand sanitizer instead of soap in the left bathroom.

I called in to reserve three camping spots. Shelia had to get her manager a few times for help as she was new and didn’t know how to do a group reservation. We paid for 1 of the spots the day I called to make reservations. I was told to have the other couples call in to pay for there spot . When we called in a week or so later I was told that I didn’t reserve all three and only had the one I

Had a great time, really enjoy all that this camp offers - do wish there were more than 2 flush toilets in the back. Everyone we interacted with was very nice- very friendly!

We enjoyed our stay. Only comment- primitive campsites had a lot of posion ivy mixed into the bushes & stumps. It would if been nice to not have to worry about it at our site.

I didn't stay with you guys, but I did pay for the complete stay even though your website says I would only loose my deposit. I wasn't very happy about that. I look forward to staying with you guys in the future. Just this experience wasn't great.

Everything was great. I was there with family and other friends, and we had an amazing time. Every staff member we encountered was friendly and helpful in every way. Jenna was extremely helpful when we first got there, helping us solve a problem that was our own doing and even gave me an umbrella because it started raining to borrow to get back to my site. I have now joined the rewards program

We had a really great time staying at the Koa! We have been coming back for years. The only issues I have is that there is a 15 dollar a day charge to bring your own golf cart. Doesn't make sense to be charged to bring your own property. Also ihad called ahead to book a specific site and got a different one. Asked about it and was told I needed to pay $30 to lock it in but wasnt told on the phone.

This was our first time staying at the Thompson KOA and it is our favorite KOA so far! Love the layout and the staff was all super friendly. We stayed in a tent site and some of our family stayed in a glamping tent, both were very nice and clean. The tent site set up was private and close to the dog park which was perfect. We will definitely be back!!!

Can not say enough good things about Jake from the moment he greeted my husband there was a connection. He was pleasant, looked out for us explained things concisely just a great guy. He was also accommodating at checkout. We spent several summers here before it was KOA it was nice then the changes make it even better.

It’s a wonderful location, amenities were great. I arrived late but everything was done for us and had no trouble locating our large and well situated site. I would love to return for an extended stay and enjoy the area.

Loved Thompson/Grand River. Would have given it a 5 but actually stayed in the wrong spot because the map didn't have the route drawn on it and the sign to my actual spot made it appear that I was in the correct spot. LOL I would have also liked some shelves or a bench to place shower items on in the shower house. It was difficult as a tent camper to find places to put clean clothes etc.

We were texted the wrong camp site and I had no service to see my emails so I didn’t see the correct one should have been berry patch, not maple and we couldn’t get the late registration door open to get the packet. We ended up sleeping in what appeared to be the only open spot, cherry which had no water or electricity that we had paid for. We weren’t credited the difference we were told we

We had a wonderful time! The campgrounds were clean and there were many activities for the kids. More bathrooms closer to the campsites would be great and helpful when coming with young kids.

We loved our stay! The kids had so much to do and I loved the privacy between the camp sites. Our favorite part was the floating slide on the pond! We would definitely stay here again!

We just spent the weekend here to kick off summer vacation, and we could not have had a better time! Our KOA Patio site did not disappoint, as it provided the perfect amount of space and beautiful views to just relax and unwind. There was so much for the kids to do. They completely entertained themselves between the pool, the pond with inflatables, fishing, and Gaga ball. They even joined an unofficial kickball tournament in the huge field! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the bathhouses were immaculate and very well-kept. This place is a true gem tucked away just a short drive from Cleveland. Plus, being in the heart of wine country means there are tons of great options nearby. Stonegait Winery is an absolute must-try and super family-friendly. We will definitely be back!

Camping here is nice. Lots of amenities for the kids. Camp sites are somewhat private could be a little better. Also I didn't give 5 stars because we were there for 2 days and no one kept up on the bathrooms. They were all dirty. Other than that it's a nice family place.
