General Campground Information
Camping Cabins: 7 days cancellation notice required. Please notify us one week before your scheduled arrival. There is a $10 cancellation fee.
Deluxe Cabins & Unique Accommodations: These units may have special deposit and cancellation requirements. To cancel a deluxe cabin or tipi call us by 4pm 2 weeks before your arrival. There is a $25 cancellation fee.
Reservations made after these deadlines require nonrefundable deposits. Cancellations made after deadlines will result in forfeiture of all deposits.
Holidays and special events may have special deposit and/or cancellation requirements. Special conditions may apply during high-demand periods and special events. Please check with us for details.

Check Out: 12:00 pm for Sites and 11:00 am for Cabins
Pool Open: Memorial Day - Labor Day (pool is heated)
Store Hours: 8:00am-8pm (Mon-Thurs) 8:00am- 8:00pm (Friday & Saturday) 8:00am-5:00pm (Sunday)
Quiet Hours: 11:00 pm to 8:00 am
Visitor Charge: $4.00 per person per day (Mon-Thurs) $6 per person per day (Friday-Sunday)
Visiting hours are 10:00 am until 11:00 pm
We will open reservations for the next year on 7/15. (2021 reservations will be available for booking on 7/15/19).

The campers are what make this job enjoyable. We all share a passion to be outdoors, making memories with our families and friends.We are so excited to welcome Glenn Soffner as the new host of Thompson KOA!
After 25 years of working as an Auto Body Technician in California and Hawaii, Glenn decided he wanted to explore more of the US. Glenn, his wife and their dogs started living full time in their RV and traveling around the country. He started working for KOA in 2013 and has managed campgrounds in California, Kentucky and Florida. He's excited to now welcome campers from near and far to the Thompson/Grand River KOA!
