Meet Your Hosts

We take pride in knowing that your family has chosen our campground for your vacation. We glady accept this responsibility and await your arrival.

We signed our KOA contract for the Thompson/Grand River Valley, Ohio KOA at the KOA Expo during the KOA International Convention in Daytona Beach, FL in the fall of 2015.

Don came from a franchising background and was a district sales manager for Cornwell Tools. Cheryl worked at the Cleveland Clinic for over 30 years prior to retiring to dedicate 200% to the campground. We have owned the former Heritage Hills RV Park near Thompson, Ohio for three years prior to joining KOA. Previously, we owned a racetrack that catered to campers. We discovered that we loved the camping lifestyle and working with our camping guests.

We continue to make improvements to our park. Most recently, we re-did our bath house and added a gaga pit which the kids thoroughly enjoy. 11 new sites have been added for our overnight guests.

We have branded ourselves as a KOA Holiday campground, referring to one of KOA's three new brands - KOA Holiday, KOA Journey and KOA Resort.

One thing that drew us to this park was the fact that is was situated in the middle of Ohio's wine country. We have 25 wineries around us. The park has a beautiful foundation that will allow us to develop it into a place where families can come to get away and enjoy time with each other outdoors. We have activities every weekend in addition to our heated pool, so there is no chance of getting bored.
