Very friendly and welcoming at check in. Nice quite location for us. Dog friendly, WiFi was great to watch a ball game! Very well cared for campground, nice amenities! We'll be back!

Grounds were clean. Needed some gravel brought in to smooth out the roads and sites. Sites are hit and miss being level. Not sure their placement because there were really nice sites available while we were there yet we got put in a less than desirable site. Overall it was good. 15 minutes to nearest grocery store.

Spent one night. Out of season. There were few campers there. There are a lot of seasonal campers. The campground is a nice size with lots to do. It does need some work though. Shower house was bad shape. A lot more needs addressed as well. Staff was friendly.

We were there for just 1 night. We did not use any facilities. It is an attractive, well maintained park. Our pull thru site was very narrow. Other nearby vacant sites would have been easier to navigate. But we had a nice view of the grounds, so that’s probably why they assigned it to us. All in all. We were happy campers.

Only spent a night but the campground is lovely with all kind of sites. The only down side was the mile of gravel road to get in and out. Our dew covered trailer was filthy when we arrived at out next stop. This would hardly keep us from highly recommending this site. We’ll be back on our trip home.

Great site and pretty darn good fishing! Band on Saturday was a great addition to our stay. The new Glamping tents look neat, and over all camp time was excellent. Only concern was the occasional uneven ground as we walked our dogs in grass. Unexpected holes/ruts in grassy areas kept us walking cautiously so nobody twisted an ankle, etc. Definitely will be coming back.

We only stayed overnight but had a very good experience. Kay was very helpful with getting us into a nice spot for our truck and slid in truck camper. The bathrooms were very clean which is very important to both my wife and I.

This was our second stay, and we will return. The campground is well-maintained, the sites are spacious, and there are lots of amenities. It is quiet and out of the way, yet ideally located for enjoying all the area has to offer.

Conveniently located close to the falls. Pleasant, helpful staff. Restrooms/showers handicapped accessible a plus. Grounds average. Minutes from a small, historic village as well.

The restroom/shower area needs some TLC. Sink faucets were broken, the shower drain (in the stall I used) was extremely slow, seemed dark and dingy in there. Otherwise, the campground is beautiful, and we had a wonderful time!

The campgrounds were very crowded and sites crammed together. Our back in site was perpendicular to the road and with the other tow vehicles haphazardly parked in front of their campers, it was very difficult to back in with a trailer. Took us half an hour. Our neighbors, who were unfriendly were just feet away from us, making it all the more unpleasant. That being said, families would love it.

The website for this koa needs to be updated. The website does not represent what is available. The sites need to be leveled better. I have been a rewards member since 2017 and this is the first one I was disappointed about the stay! Staff was great and friendly.

The staff is very nice and great at customer service. Best WIFI I have ever had. Reason for the 4 instead of 5 are the gravel roads and signage at corner Ledge and Thompson Road. Also the facility is well kept and sites are good size.

My family and I LOVE Thompson KOA! One of our favorite times is the Rewards Weekend! So many activities to do! My daughters loved karaoke! We had more fun tie-dyeing our t-shirts! ( can’t wait to wear them camping!) The rock painting was sooo much fun, but our favorite was BINGO! We won! We won! Camping @ KOA is making new friends and new memories together!

We stayed for member weekend and kids had a great time! They left the pool open even though it was pretty chilly they loved it!! The food truck came from Akron and was great since we had forgotten to pack dinner that night! The manager was great! She got us a late check out and a great deal on clothes in the shop! Overall it was a great relaxing weekend!

We had a much better experience at this KOA than our last visit. We lost electricity at home so we thought we'd camp nearby until our electricity came back on. Friendly staff.

Spot 56 and 57 needs some site attention. Basically a mud pad when you pull through. It needs some stone also the Dump station needs a new hose with an appropriate fitting to hook a hose to for travel trailers that have a black tank flush. I had to take water line apart to flush my tank added my timid to my travels to Boston. .

The pool was closed on 90 degree day on the Labor Day holiday they ran out of water for the campers and no showers. Closed the bathroom and showers. Asked for a little refund and would not give anything

The sites we mostly open and somewhat level. The water for recreational use seemed to look murky to me. The road to get to the KOA was not paved and extremely dusty. Interaction with the check in staff was pleasant.

To be clear, this is a KOA, not a hotel. When I rate the rooms here, I refer to the sites. I have NOT stayed in their cabins. This KOA is under new ownership this year and so far it seems great. We camped here a few times last year as weekend visitors. The sites are nice, well-maintained, and reasonably private for a KOA. This year, we have returned as “permanent” campers at a dedicated site. Having camped at dozens of other places over the last several years, we did not choose this KOA as a permanent location without considerable research and discussion. The staff is immediately helpful upon arrival and keeps up a high standard of service over the entire stay. They are friendly and knowledgeable. The camp store is nicely stocked and maintained as are the amenities such as the heated pool, the swimming pond, and fishing pond. The camp site we have is nice and level enough that I was easily able to level my RV in all directions pretty quickly. We have a nice fire pit and plenty of space for my family and dogs. We are close to the nice showers and bathrooms. Though we will not likely use them often, it is nice that they are clean and available. The water, power, and sewer hookups are in good shape and I have no concerns about them. As for location, this campground seems to be pretty quiet and amongst a very wooded area. There is a small amount of gravel road leading up to the campground regardless of the direction you come in, but the road seems to be very well-maintained and has caused us no concerns so far. We like that it is isolated, but other needs are close enough if we want them. Within a few minutes, you can get to a hardware store, many food options, and other needs likely to arise when camping…especially wineries/distilleries. Lots of wineries and such are very close. Overall, this is a great KOA to visit or stay a season. I hope you and your guests are able to enjoy this area and this campground is a great place to start!

So we went Off season to visit for a night with the dog and the baby. The site was well maintained, clean and off city. The new owners were super Friendly new. We had a nice cosy and Quiet night. Just what we needed. Grocery stores and all needs are within 15 minutes from site.

Although we only stayed one night it was very relaxing. We were traveling with 3 dogs and got a site that had a dog pen. It was lovely walking around early in the morning. They have a fantastic gift shop too! I'm going back for sure
