Weather not so great, but Sunday was beautiful and it was the first camping trip with our 14month old grandson in our 5th wheel. He loved the bouncing pillow and the playground. Shelly at the front desk is sweet and kind and she was very informative and helpful with all my questions. Derrick was very kind to our whole family also and I learned a lot by speaking with him.We will definitely be back.

The site was terrible, flooded around it and the site was so narrow we hardly fit it.

Barely warm water in the showers and no heat in the wash rooms on a couple very cold days. Price was only 56.00 but I’d pay an extra 10 for warm showers.

It was a very wet weekend and we found out that our site was a mud pit. The office did offer to move us but decided not to. Found out this is known to be a very wet site, extra gravel would help with the mud.

We always have a good camping experience there at Thompson. The staff is great, very helpful. Close to wineries and restaurants. Love it there!

The sites are very small and we were given what appeared to be the farthest and worst site (maybe because we were staying one night) When we went to hook up the water it was brown and continued to be brown even after running it for awhile and using our water filter. Also, with a larger trailer the sewer and water were hard to make reach to the trailer. It was a disappointing visit.

Terrible no one to take you to your site they rather stay inside the office cause it was raining And talk, sites are horrible not level at all extremely wet, give a site for a 20 th trailer when I reserved a site for a 38 foot trailer they just don’t seem to care . They are their for a pay check nothing else I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLZCE NOR SILL I EVET BE BACK

We were extremely troubled by the gravel roads in our large motor home. The next problem was a black dog was wandering the park and scared my smaller dog when i went to bring him potty he came by and growled at my dog .

This KOA is what you would expect from a great campground; amenities, activities, nice lots, etc. But the best part is the people that own and run this place, from the front desk gal (always smiling) to the people in charge. My wife was hospitalized during our stay and the staff went out of their way to help me anyway they could. I can't thank them enough!

This was our first time staying in an RV. Like other grounds we toured before booking with Thompson KOA, there are areas dedicated to full-time RV'ers which takes away from the experience as these become run-down areas, in our opinion. Also, we were not prepared for the number of campers with dogs, and having to listen to uncontrolled barking dogs. All in all, a good first-time experience.

Though the weather didn’t cooperate we still really enjoyed our five night stay. Only disappointment was that the pavilion had already been closed down for the season. We were looking forward to ping pong on those rainy days!

The grounds were lovely, close to the lake and multiple wineries. The location is also within an hour of Cleveland.

We stayed one night while passing through the area. The campground is very nice and clean. The staff was friendly. It's in a nice setting. Our site hade a very nice shelter with quality chairs. If I was passing through or planning a trip to the area I would choose to stay again.

We love the spacious sites. The bathhouses are the cleanest in Ohio we’ve seen!!! Welcomed warmly, treated kindly.

Campsites are deceiving upon entering the campground. Very nice spots seen and then...we were taken to "the other side of the tracks" where the long term sites were. Campers were leaning, and area not cared for. We were scheduled for two nights and left after one.

This weekend was terrible, we could not sit out side for extended periods due to the horrible smell of sewer. If we left our door open it came in the RV. My husband told one of the guys, he was told not to worry they cleaned the system so it was going to smell. WE have stayed here before without issues. Then when I get home about a hour later I get a call, that check out is 11 and we were late

I really wish that I could have rated my stay higher but unfortunately I cannot. Our arrival was a very easy and seamless process. We were escorted to our site which was very big and accommodating. However, once we set up is where the problems began. It felt like we were on a construction site for both days of our stay due to seasonal campers doing work on their sites with an excavator.

It was an amazing stay loved the sites, the staff was very friendly. My only complaint was the showers were awful the water pressure was weak and when I say weak it’s an understatement. I had to go back to my camper and wash my hair in the sink!!

We just spent the weekend here to kick off summer vacation, and we could not have had a better time! Our KOA Patio site did not disappoint, as it provided the perfect amount of space and beautiful views to just relax and unwind. There was so much for the kids to do. They completely entertained themselves between the pool, the pond with inflatables, fishing, and Gaga ball. They even joined an unofficial kickball tournament in the huge field! The staff was incredibly friendly, and the bathhouses were immaculate and very well-kept. This place is a true gem tucked away just a short drive from Cleveland. Plus, being in the heart of wine country means there are tons of great options nearby. Stonegait Winery is an absolute must-try and super family-friendly. We will definitely be back!

Camping here is nice. Lots of amenities for the kids. Camp sites are somewhat private could be a little better. Also I didn't give 5 stars because we were there for 2 days and no one kept up on the bathrooms. They were all dirty. Other than that it's a nice family place.
