Prices were high for mediocre site. Road in park very rutted and need grading. Ledge road up to park is a gravel road in very poor shape.

Stayed 1 night on our way home to Ontario. Unfortunately it rained pretty much the entire time. We did however get in a short walk the the park and it found it to be very well kept and clean. Would not hesitate to stay at some point during the summer

We were there for the eclipse. Very friendly and efficient staff. The entire campground was neat and clean- for just being open a few days! KOA store is great. Will return! Awesome place. If only Ohio would fix the road getting there!

This is the first KOA that emailed me regularly in regards to the activities at the campground. I think this is a very good thing and really enjoyed receiving them. The manager of this property was extremely friendly and personable.

The staff is the best. Friendly and is always around if you need them. The campground definitely needs some improvements though. I loved the layout and many points of interest and amenities, but the roads were always wet with runoff water. Drainage is an issue here and I think in some places they are working to improve it. It may be rainy there, but drainage can be controlled. I would stay agai

Always friendly. Always offering a number of things to do -- even when there isn't a total solar eclipse as the main attraction! This is our third (or fourth?) visit to this KOA, and it remains one of our favorites. Yea, the county continues to ignore maintenance of Ledge Road, but pulling into this KOA makes it like an oasis. The sky deck was worth it, and a unique option! Thanks!

Meet our needs. Stayed here because of the eclipse. Water seemed to have sediments slight tan in color.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Someone was in our spot and they moved us to an even nicer spot at no charge.

Good location. Gravel road coming in is a problem. Staff was great. Eclipse and other amenities very good. Water was brown in color even with a filter. Booked 2 sites but weren’t close even though it looked like there were options.

It was a very nice laid out campground. Our host & guide was very nice. Unfortunately because of the time of year, the grassy areas were very muddy. All the employees in the office were very nice.

Great stay. Amazed at how helpful the staff is. They escorted us to our spot to make sure we were ok. They amwere able to deliver firewood to us as well. Great clean space and lots for the kids to do

I know this time of year is wet and nasty so going by that I will give a fair review. The place is getting an overhaul ,which is needed. So far the entrance to the park is beautiful and rustic winery oriented. Has a beautiful common area for the campers. It was a smooth travel path to our campsite. The campsite itself was perfect and clean. Would definitely recommend this place to stay.

We stayed off season at Thompson KOA and would absolutely come again! The owners were very kind and social, but not pushy, and had great dinner recommendations! The campground was well cared for and we could tell had lots of fun things for families.

We stayed at a pavilion site this time, the last couple times we had the double decker deck sites. We liked the pavilions much better because it did rain a little bit and we were able to keep out of the rain. We will always try to get a pavilion even if it’s going to be sunny then we would have more shade. Great staff and clean campground, can’t wait until next season.

Have been seasonal camping here for 6 years and loved every minute. Sure there was a few snags, but were addressed in a timely manner. Looking forward to next season.

Thompson grand river KOA has done nothing but go down hill since KOA took it over but they raised there rates every year with no improvements to show fir it. The heated pool was closed most if the time and has not been heated since KOA took it over. The roads are like driving through a war zone, dusty and full of pot holes. The water system is down much too often. After many years I've had enough

Thompson KOA use to be a great place but then corporate took over so you like potholes, dusty roads, cold pool and speeding golf carts and cars this is the place for you. Many promises for improvements in past 3 years but no money in budget. No thanks we will not be back.

5 year seasonal camper at KOA. Modest upgrades were made annually while concurrently prices also increased every year. The decision to take out the A line and make it available to weekenders was poorly thought out and led to property damage and disrespectful campers who were just out to have a few fun days. Almost weekly well water issues, the same social activities every weekend -new GMs …..

We have been seasonal campers at this campground for 13 yesrs. During this time period we have never experienced the problems we have encountered in the Air 3 years. They have included pool closures, numerous water not working, children as young as 10 years old driving golf carts at high speed, late night parties, and getting answering machines after 7:00 PM. PLEASE hold meetings with seasonals

As a seasonal camper, my family has been in the park for over 20 years. During the last 3 years, there has been 4 different managers, the roads constantly require repair and the water system is insufficient for the parks needs on extremely busy weekends. The blame falls on corporate, not management. The rates go up every year and nothing is repaired to current standards. Spend money, make money!

First time stay but we had a lot of recommendations from family that have stayed here. Clean and easy to navigate facility. Staff was all very friendly and helpful. Appreciate all the nice amenities the campground had and how good the upkeep was on the facilities.

It seemed to be a very nice place from what we saw in the short time we were there. My only regret with KOA's new 3 tier system is that there is no choice but to pay an exorbitant amount at the Holiday and Resort venues fir people who are just staying one night due to their travel plans. I think all KOA's should have up to 5 sites for overnighters with just the basic services.

The campground is being updated, the gazebo pull through sites are wet following the significant rain that has plagued the northeast this summer.

Great variety of sites, entertainment, and events. Some issues with muddy sites downhill from main areas. Friendly welcoming staff. Nice to be a few miles from noisy Interstate traffic.

The family that are running this campground are friendly, and went out of their way to help me with problems I had. I would definitely be come back to here. These people are dedicated to making this campground a fun and delightful place to spend time. I also think that the layout of the site is really good. Thank you all.

Very nice campground, nice people. BUT, this is the second time they stuck our group in their M sites ! These are very short,(except for 1) VERY unlevel, and not easy to get into. What bugged us was this weekend was not packed, they could have put our group of 3 campers on other open sites !! Don't understand why they do this, but it will deter us from staying there again.

Really liked the uniqueness of this location, how spread out the sites are and how big the resort is, yet still deliver the quality of a KOA park. The dog parks (2), are good size. Everyone was friendly as well.

So we went Off season to visit for a night with the dog and the baby. The site was well maintained, clean and off city. The new owners were super Friendly new. We had a nice cosy and Quiet night. Just what we needed. Grocery stores and all needs are within 15 minutes from site.

Although we only stayed one night it was very relaxing. We were traveling with 3 dogs and got a site that had a dog pen. It was lovely walking around early in the morning. They have a fantastic gift shop too! I'm going back for sure

This is the most beautiful KOA we've ever stayed in. The grounds are beautiful and the park is very well maintained. All the employees are very nice and helpful.
