We stayed in one of the deluxe cabins. This is our third year staying in the same cabin. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. My only suggestion is inside table was pretty beat up and needs replaced. Thanks for allowing pets in the cabins. It was a plus to have our dog with us. The campground is clean except for the dust from the gravel road. We have already booked for next year.

We only had 1 spoon in our cabin for 6 people. Bring back dog beach and the paddle boards and kayaks. One of the best parts of coming here - and this is our 5th summer here, was swimming with our dog and taking around the lake on a paddle board or kayak. I think he loves it even more then our kids. They stay off the beach and away from the swimmers and inflatables. They have the best time!

The campground amenities are excellent. The farmhouse cabin is beautiful. On the downside it sleeps 6 but only had dinner service for 4. There was only 1 pan and we were not informed we needed special cookware as it was an induction cooktop. Also no instructions for the convection oven. (If you've never used one you don't know) Also no table inside although we were informed it was ordered.

We loved everything! The cabin was nice and we had everything we needed. The website descriptions are a tad off and the bunk beds in the cabin could use vacuuming. They were full of crumbs.

Wonderful stay...beautiful park. I would really like if you made the main bathhouse toilet stalls larger (deeper)...too hard to move around without bumping your head on the stall door.

We had an absolute amazing time! This was our first stay at a KOA and we will definitely be back. It was relaxing for my husband and I, and the kids had a blast!! Thank you so much!

The glamping tent was very nice. However the pictures on the website are of a generic tent and not these specific tents. Also for some reason the dumpsters where emptied at 6 am. It made for a very rude awakening. If the campground is going to have quite hours the dumpsters really shouldn't be emptied during them. Other than that though I would stay again.

Pool is claimed to be heated but heater didn't work all the days we were there. Also, hiking paths are NOT hikable at all. They appeared to be more 4wheel paths that you could try to walk on but there were horrible treads everything and it was often impassable. The glamping yurts were very nice and despite the disappointments our family enjoyed the time there.

Overall we enjoyed our stay again. There were a few things that were inconveniences that didn't make it great, such as: the pool water was so cold it was hard to enjoy, the lake inflatables had issues multiple times so they couldn't be used for big chunks of time, and the cabin was missing some essentials like paper towels and an extra trash bag that we requested but were told they were out of.

Glamping tent #3 was awesome! The price is a bit high, which makes us hesitant to book again, but we loved it. The website description needs to be updated - it is not correct about the Glamping tents, for example, the website specifically says “No grill”, so we lugged a grill with us & then there was a grill, which is great, but why does the website say there isn’t one? Call and ask.

The new obstacle floatation unit is the lake are a great addition from the old ones and the campground is very clean and a lot of work was noticeable from the last year. I was a little disappointed that the pool was closed, with 3 kids the pool is an important amenity at a campground. The firewood is awfull, at $8 per bundle at-least you could offer hardwood. some fish in the lake would be nice.

unfortunately the pool was closed, which we werent notified of until day before check in. kids were disappointed, would have been nice to get some sort of compensation.

Stayed in a Glamping Tent & absolutely loved it. It was spotless! The entire staff including Kay the manager, Sara, Celeste, Sammy & office staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we wanted for a fun filled weekend! Chrissy the activities director was fabulous! The kids were busy all the time. Will definitely book more weekends! Loved how clean & tidy the campground was.

We arrived at 1:00 because tent and RV check in was at 1:00, according to the numerous emails I received. I was very quickly and rudely told that glamping tents aren’t considered tents and my check in time wasn’t until 3. We were told we could use the amenities, but the pool was closed for our entire stay. We were told to use the lake because unlike the pool it wasn’t closed, but no chairs.

It was very nice. The swimming lake was a huge hit with my boys. The cabin was clean and the queen bed comfy. Down side was that the regular pool was over crowded and someone parked in our parking space by the cabin the whole tim we were there. We had to park in the grass to get near our cabin. Also online it offered pancake breakfast that's why we choose that weekend but no pancakes were offered.

Beautiful setting! For only two persons, the cabin we stayed in was very uncomfortable, set up for six people to sleep, so no table, or place to set anything…might be great for a family with children, but uncomfortable for us.., and as it turned out only $10 less than what we had paid for a one bedroom condo unit the night before, Made us rethink the idea of a KOA cabin for a one night stay…

From the staff to the amenities to the campgrounds itself, this place is a gem of gems , please don’t stop what you doing , other campground’s say this but offering nothing that’s close to what Thompson offering , we will be back , again and again

Staff was great. They advertise activities for the day but did not have any. Website shows boat rentals but none around. Bathrooms need updating. Picture on website of the cabin I rented looked nothing at all like it. I hope Corporate can give this campground a makeover as it desperately needs it. Also all the other KOAs I've stayed at have a snack shop and sell food to purchase nothing at all her

2nd time visitor. Very nice, clean, friendly. 12 yr old very disappointed paddle boards no longer there (web site did not indicate you no longer had), think could maybe offer at least one activity or craft during weekday stays. Overall very nice campground.

We had a wonderful 4th of July holiday at KOA with family! A lot of activities for the kids! Staff was very pleasant everything is clean, very well maintained and taken care of! Great time!

Loved our glamping tent, the location and how beautiful the campground is. Only recommendation we have is hooks in the bathroom to dry towels or hang clothes on. Would definitely come back!

When we started staying at the Thompson KOA 4 years ago, it cost $25/day to rent a golf cart. Last year, it cost $50/day to rent a golf cart. This year, KOA was charging $80/day to rent a golf cart and six of them sat out in front of the building the entire week we were there. That cost is outrageous.

It was amazing! Cabin had flowers shrubs landscaped around it. The beautiful stocked pond with a fountain, that sounded like a waterfall to fall asleep to at our door step. Large porch to sit and enjoy watching kids fish. Bathrooms were clean and kept that way. Staff very friendly and all campers courteous and enjoying them selves especially kids with the western style little city. Will go back.

Fantastic Place!!! One of he best KOAs we've stayed at. Clean, friendly, lots to do, many different activities offered, just a Wonderful place. Would definitely recommend to everyone.

Always a great stay here with activities and lake swimming. Our only complaint is the poor quality of the roads which make taking a brisk morning walk challenging with the potholes and large stones and rocks that could twist an ankle.

We stayed in a deluxe cabin and loved it. Other members of my family stopped by to eat with us and now they all want to reserve a cabin this summer together side by side.........So I will be calling this campground in the near future. Everyone thought the campground this very nice.

We would love to come back but the accommodations at $335 a night are a little high. The farmhouse is nice as we need the size, but we would give it a c+: no ice cube trays, bedroom light does not work. Bedroom door does not close. It is advertised that it can sleep sex, but there were only four plates etc. Luggage stand is useless. Do not book Farmhouse unless you bring most kitchen utensils.

Lovely campground. Lots of activities for our grandkids. The pond was great fun the teens. It's nice to have something that appeals to them! The staff was great, very friendly.

So we went Off season to visit for a night with the dog and the baby. The site was well maintained, clean and off city. The new owners were super Friendly new. We had a nice cosy and Quiet night. Just what we needed. Grocery stores and all needs are within 15 minutes from site.

Although we only stayed one night it was very relaxing. We were traveling with 3 dogs and got a site that had a dog pen. It was lovely walking around early in the morning. They have a fantastic gift shop too! I'm going back for sure

This is the most beautiful KOA we've ever stayed in. The grounds are beautiful and the park is very well maintained. All the employees are very nice and helpful.
