Although i realize nobody can control the weather, you can control where the water goes. our site was a river all weekend. campground also needs some TLC that has not happened in a long time. New manager please save this campground.

Horrible customer service!! I booked 3 campsites that were supposed to be all together and we were scattered all over the place. It's not like it was a busy weekend, the sites where we could have been all together were never occupied. Got horrible attitude from the workers when I asked why we weren't put together. Booked these sites 3 months in advance!!

One-night primitive tent site camping. Everything was soaked and muddy due to a thunderstorm just before our arrival, but obviously not the campground's fault. Late check-in was friendly and easy, and the campground seemed well-appointed and in great care. Bathrooms were super-clean and well maintained. Far enough from the highway to not realize it is there but close enough for easy access.

The farmhouse cabin we stayed in is beautiful and spacious. The only downfall was the queen bed in the loft. There are 2 but one has a mattress than sinks in the middle making it unusable. Definitely needs to be replaced.the other two in the cabin are very comfortable. The outside needs a little touch up but it is very early in the season. Grass definitely should of been cut around the cabin.

This is by far the worst KOA campground I’ve ever stayed at. I will advise everyone not to go here. It cost me $125 to clean my travel trailer and my brand new 2026 F250 that was completely destroyed by the mud and roads.

Weather not so great, but Sunday was beautiful and it was the first camping trip with our 14month old grandson in our 5th wheel. He loved the bouncing pillow and the playground. Shelly at the front desk is sweet and kind and she was very informative and helpful with all my questions. Derrick was very kind to our whole family also and I learned a lot by speaking with him.We will definitely be back.

There was no hot water in the “deluxe cabin”. I called the emergency phone number and left 2 messages that were never returned. We figured out that a breaker was popped after searching and we were able to get lukewarm water for our shower. When I complained at checkout i was told “I’ll write it down”. I don’t expect the lap of luxury but I do expect hot water for showers and return pho

Barely warm water in the showers and no heat in the wash rooms on a couple very cold days. Price was only 56.00 but I’d pay an extra 10 for warm showers.

It was a very wet weekend and we found out that our site was a mud pit. The office did offer to move us but decided not to. Found out this is known to be a very wet site, extra gravel would help with the mud.

We always have a good camping experience there at Thompson. The staff is great, very helpful. Close to wineries and restaurants. Love it there!

The sites are very small and we were given what appeared to be the farthest and worst site (maybe because we were staying one night) When we went to hook up the water it was brown and continued to be brown even after running it for awhile and using our water filter. Also, with a larger trailer the sewer and water were hard to make reach to the trailer. It was a disappointing visit.

We stayed in the glamming tent, it was beautiful! Pristine linens, amazing spa like bathroom, excellent outdoor seating. Everything you would need to make camping top notch.

Terrible no one to take you to your site they rather stay inside the office cause it was raining And talk, sites are horrible not level at all extremely wet, give a site for a 20 th trailer when I reserved a site for a 38 foot trailer they just don’t seem to care . They are their for a pay check nothing else I would NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLZCE NOR SILL I EVET BE BACK

We were extremely troubled by the gravel roads in our large motor home. The next problem was a black dog was wandering the park and scared my smaller dog when i went to bring him potty he came by and growled at my dog .

The deluxe cabin was just what I needed. It was cozy & warm (and super clean). My pup enjoyed a walk around the campground and she had the KampK9 to herself. This was my second time camping here and i’d come back again.

This KOA is what you would expect from a great campground; amenities, activities, nice lots, etc. But the best part is the people that own and run this place, from the front desk gal (always smiling) to the people in charge. My wife was hospitalized during our stay and the staff went out of their way to help me anyway they could. I can't thank them enough!

I loved our cabin. I just wish they would’ve let us know that there would be silverware, towels, grill, keurig. I think some of these items could be listed better on your website along with pictures of inside the cabin.

This was our first time staying in an RV. Like other grounds we toured before booking with Thompson KOA, there are areas dedicated to full-time RV'ers which takes away from the experience as these become run-down areas, in our opinion. Also, we were not prepared for the number of campers with dogs, and having to listen to uncontrolled barking dogs. All in all, a good first-time experience.

Though the weather didn’t cooperate we still really enjoyed our five night stay. Only disappointment was that the pavilion had already been closed down for the season. We were looking forward to ping pong on those rainy days!

The grounds were lovely, close to the lake and multiple wineries. The location is also within an hour of Cleveland.

We stayed one night while passing through the area. The campground is very nice and clean. The staff was friendly. It's in a nice setting. Our site hade a very nice shelter with quality chairs. If I was passing through or planning a trip to the area I would choose to stay again.

Wanted to leave a positive review to off set the negative ones, as majority of the negative reviews are false and from disgruntled seasonal campers who were reaping benefits while the previous managers were here, and are no longer benefiting so feelings are hurt. The grounds are well maintained, activities for kids are happening, the pool is open and warm, the pond has inflatables on it and fresh sand on the beach, campers are quiet after 11 (the review about the golf cart parade well after 11 is 100% false), the fishing pond is full of fish, gem mining, playground, jump pillow and more ! This is a great place to bring your family for a weekend of fun. Unfortunately there are campers here still who would rather see this place go under than thrive because they were all friends with the previous managers. If you ask me the old manager should be held accountable for their behaviors as it was the environment he and his family created. As an older couple here we see a lot of family's come and enjoy this place, Give this place a try you won't be disappointed!
