Campground is very clean! Seems like there’s plenty to do. It’s off the beaten track but a nice area. Owners were accommodating and easy to work with. I highly recommend and would stay again.

Bathrooms dirty and quotient drain water. Shower curtain had black mold across the bottom. Our tent site was swormed with bees and got b stung on ankle. So far this KOA was the worst we stayed at.

I stayed one night in a tent site. The site was a good grass site with electric. The only reason I’m not giving a 5 star rating is because there wasn’t a working shared water spout anywhere in the tent area. The showers were good, and the bathroom was clean and well maintained. I would stay here again if I was traveling through the area.

This campground is small but clean and well maintained. The pool and facilities were very nice. Our tent site was grassy and perfect for what we needed. I would recommend this campground and would stay here again. Great proximity to the Springfield area and attractions.

WOW! Can't say enough about this place. We recently took a 3000 mile trip and stayed at multiple KOA's along the way and this was by far our favorite one. It has something for everyone. A swimming pool, jump pads, mini golf, volleyball, playground, bicycles, etc. The bathrooms and showers were cleaned multiple times per day. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of shade trees as well.

We came at the very beginning of the season so the weather was challenging. Adam, Kinley, and the rest of the staff were great. My kids loved the park and the availability of play equipment that was free to use. Our site had everything we needed and I was glad to see the pebble lined, stone campfires with a flip over grate.They are a big upgrade from what I'm used to finding in a campground.

I appreciated that the quiet hours were observed. When someone is sleeping in a tent, there is nothing to block the noise of other campers. I appreciated all the signage about quiet hours and why there are quiet hours. Also, the bathroom was clean, and the location was lovely. All the birds singing was wonderful! I also enjoyed the farm noises.

I stayed in a tent, and it was exactly what I was looking for. There were some very loud talkers at 1:30 AM the first night, but it was quiet the next night. Facilities were clean and well-maintained, and the staff were very helpful.

Last minute decision to camp before the State Fair. Enjoyed our time. The kids loved the jumping area and the pool.

Wonderfully shaded tent sites. Bathroom was clean. We loved the pool! Playground desperately needs some updates, though.

Check in process was easy and the staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful every time we had a question or needed something. Good amenities and easy access to the restrooms. It was our first time camping, and we loved it.

The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. The campsite was shaded and close to the pool. The restrooms were super clean and air conditioned. The kids had plenty to do and had a fantastic time. It was just a really great place to camp!

I booked the wrong KOA for the night and the KOA employee couldn’t have been any nicer in correcting my mistake and making sure I was not charged for my error. Put me in a great site that suited my needs.

We come out to this KOA a few times every summer/Fall. We always have a wonderful stay. The owners are friendly and accommodating. Kenley is always so pleasant and helpful. Thanks for always taking great care of us!

This really isn’t a campground. This is a retirement community. And if you are wanting to use outside voices, Don’t waste your time here. 1030 you are expected to be silent. Some of us work and do not get to the campground until 6 or 7. And are expected to be in bed quiet by 1030. This place was not for my family.

We stayed one night at the Springfield, IL KOA and were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and beautiful it is! The campground is tucked back in the trees, giving it a quiet, forest-like feel — perfect for relaxing after a travel day. Our pull-through site was just the right size, easy to navigate, and very clean. The entire campground felt well-maintained and thoughtfully laid out. The on-site camp store was one of the best we've seen — well-stocked, tidy, and super convenient. Big shoutout to the front desk staff — the woman who checked us in was incredibly sweet and helpful, making us feel right at home. This was just a quick overnight for us, but we'd absolutely stay again. Highly recommend if you're passing through the area!
