This KOA was just what we needed for our short stay in Springfield. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpfull.

The cabin looked nice. There were so many dead & live bugs by the dirty windows also on the pillow. The AC was so noisy. Wanted to turn the ceiling fan on & it was caked with dust. We were going to grill, cleaned up the dirty grill then discovered the propane tank was empty. Called the closed office & left a msg. No response. Couldn't watch TV. Internet is bad w shows buffering. They're expensive.

Staff was very friendly, and cabin was nice. Since not everything was open on campground so early in the season (closed bounce pad, closed pool, etc. ) it would be better to have a cheaper rate for early campers to reflect that.

Our deluxe cabin stay was very nice. The queen bed was extremely comfortable. I did not bring coffee as other KOAs typically provide a Keurig. We loved the location of the campground and will revisit.

I love staying at KOAs because if the e convenience, multiple options of camping or staying in some sort of accommodation. This KOA did not disappoint. It’s small and tucked away from everything surrounded by trees. Incredibly quiet. A great place to stay.

Nice location. Deer crossed in front of us on drive in to campground. Easy, after hours check-in. Cabin had an odd smell to it, noticed possible water damage on ceiling the next morning. Bathroom/shower facilities extremely clean & stocked. Community outdoor sink was dirty and there was blue tarp/rubbish in woods behind cabin area that we could see. Didn't use pool, but appeared clean & enjoyable.

We had a very nice time staying in one of the rustic cabins at the Springfield KOA. Everything was clean, the staff was nice and we appreciated the playground,pool and bikes available for free at the park. We would definitely stay again.

The cabin was nice, but the place is ran down a bit. If someone went in and put a little time/money in could be better. On our nightly walks you could see the big trash pile in the woods was an eye sore. I love the location though out in the country away from city life it was nice and peaceful at night.

Springfield KOA was well maintained, clean with lots of amenities like putt putt golf, pool, jump pads, playground and even a small fenced-in dog park. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back!

We stayed in a deluxe cabin. It was close to all the amenities and very clean. It was perfect for our family of 4. It even came with clean bedding and towels, so we didn't have to pack extra items. We highly recommend this location.

This was our 2nd time staying at this KOA. 1st in our camper, this time in a cabin. Host was not at all friendly and thought we were overcharged for our pet. I understand a pet fee, we paid it at most of the cabins on our vacation to Maine this year, but this was by far the most expensive fee we had to pay. We only stayed the one night and won't be back.

"Deluxe Cabin" consisted of one room, no bathroom, no sink, no coffee maker and no internet. Price was $139.00. We will not be there again nor would I recommend it to anyone. In contrast for the same price in Salina, Kansas we got a cabin that sleeps 8 with two private rooms, bathroom, linens & towels, kitchen and internet. It was nice enough to live in. They will get 5 stars

1. The room had spider webs and was not cleaned thoroughly, with no linen on the bunk bed. 2. The pool was maintained nicely. 3 The staff was great. Fixed swing we had a negative experience after checking out at 12 PM. We asked to use the pool for 30 minutes for our little girl, The front desk lady got upset and informed us that amenities should not be used after checkout.left bad after taste

This KOA is really off the beaten path, however it is beautiful! We travel with dogs, and they had a lot of green space for them which is great. Friendly staff as and very clean restroom areas.

Had a wonderful stay! Would definitely stay again. A big Thank You to the management & staff for allowing us to switch sites. Camp sites were nice size & level. It was self-evident that the owners/management & staff have been working very hard to make this a very nice park. For a KOA Journey it is absolutely fantastic! Many amenities that most KOA journeys that we have stayed at do not have.

The cabin was clean, but very small. Kind of misleading on the website. No place for putting things out of way. Very little floor space. Wi-Fi was out. No tv reception. Dog park could be bigger.

What a lovely little KOA! Big rig friendly, and you can keep your toad attached. Flat sites, trees, space between sites. Big win. It is tucked way off the road, so very quiet. The road is narrow to access the park, but the KOA signage is clear.

We stayed one night at the Springfield, IL KOA and were pleasantly surprised by how peaceful and beautiful it is! The campground is tucked back in the trees, giving it a quiet, forest-like feel — perfect for relaxing after a travel day. Our pull-through site was just the right size, easy to navigate, and very clean. The entire campground felt well-maintained and thoughtfully laid out. The on-site camp store was one of the best we've seen — well-stocked, tidy, and super convenient. Big shoutout to the front desk staff — the woman who checked us in was incredibly sweet and helpful, making us feel right at home. This was just a quick overnight for us, but we'd absolutely stay again. Highly recommend if you're passing through the area!
