We came at the very beginning of the season so the weather was challenging. Adam, Kinley, and the rest of the staff were great. My kids loved the park and the availability of play equipment that was free to use. Our site had everything we needed and I was glad to see the pebble lined, stone campfires with a flip over grate.They are a big upgrade from what I'm used to finding in a campground.

Very nice level campsites. The campground was very nice and clean. Loved the pet area-such a great idea.

We only stayed overnight during our trip but it was a nice site. The hook ups were off the ground and easy to use. They had just added more spaces. It was storming so we couldn’t visit the mini park but it was a nice area! Only thing I would say is to maybe mark the entrance road and exit. They were one lane dirt roads

The sites were nice and big. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was plenty of room for the kids to play. Including the big kids.

Springfield KOA is a very nice clean campground, clean bath/showers. We would recommend it to anyone staying and touring the Springfield IL area. The campground may be a bit off the freeway, however the advantage is a very quiet, peaceful environment. No freeway or traffic or train noise. It is a short drive into Springfield. The owners are very friendly and work hard. We would stay there again.

Camping Cabin could really be improved with a queen size bed. Looks like there would be room. Other wise a very nice place. We stayed in KOAs, mostly with camper, over 100x since 2011.

Staff were always friendly and helpful. A very nicely laid out campground in a natural area. Facilities and property were easily available and clean. It was pleasant and fascinating to take a walk, watch wildlife, relax, and/or take advantage of the many available activities. Recommend for all types of campers!

This is one of our favorite KOAs. It was quiet. No highways, trains or Navel Air Station. The signs to find the park we're outstanding. We'll come again if we're in the area.

This was a lovely KOA - quiet w/o hwy or train noise, it was wonderful to wake to birds welcoming Spring & sunshine. Level sites and easy navigation. If I were to make 1 request - with the space that is seems is available, please make a GIANT mowed grass paw park - large enough that dogs can be let to run and get their road wiggles out.

We love this campground. We would prefer to see a nice walking or trail area. Otherwise, this is a great place.

Stayed one night...allowed us to check in early as we were passing through. Very clean bathroom and shower. Grounds were well maintained...pull through sites had lots of space...firepit was fairly new...owner stopped for a visit on his way to help a camper set...super friendly family owned

We have been coming to this KOA for over 10 years, this stay was by far the best one. The new owner has done so many improvements and it shows. They definitely take pride in their campground! Definitely should be a Holiday level. We definitely will be back! Highly recommend!

It’s a nice campground. The store was closed when we arrived around 1pm on a Sunday. I was in a hurry to visit the Lincoln Museum. I was not thinking about check in times. Most places don’t mind if you check in early if they have open sites. I didn’t see any information on what to do if arriving early. The sign just said the store would open up again at 2pm. I appreciated that the quiet hours were observed. When someone is sleeping in a tent, there is nothing to block the noise of other campers. I appreciated all the signage about quiet hours and why there are quiet hours. Also, the bathroom was clean, and the location was lovely. All the birds singing was wonderful! I also enjoyed the farm noises.

We stayed in the "Glamping Tent" and it was great for myself along with 18 and 9 year old kids. The check in person was very nice and helpful and the bathroom/shower facilities were clean and warm (early April stay).

Level site about 16 miles to Springfield. Laundry facilities were clean and in semi working condition. Fire pit and table there as well. Pool was closed due to end of season . Would come back

Very nice and helpful staff! A very well organized and clean site. It is level with a lot of grass and many mature trees for shade. It is located in a rural area ~15 minutes from restaurants, highways, etc. and as quiet a site as I have ever stayed at. I plan to go back and spend a week just for relaxation. Most of the utilities (power boxes, etc.) were new/fairly new. Highly recommended!

Very nice! The guy that cked me in super nice!! We were up by the pond, please trim the trees that hang down on the way out, rubbed on the rv exiting! We will surely be back!!

Bug, insects on mattresses, mold around windows, no refrigerator, no Wi Fi , filthy, double bed mattress collapsed on floor, with a newer mattress on top, no functioning outdoor light, tiny heaters, inside, mold around windows,large hedge apple trees drop on cabin,cars. Store sparce,cheap items ,2 bags of ice,nothing else in freezer Unhoused people living in cabins.Mold in showers and smelled. BAD

Quite off the beaten path down some country roads but once there this KOA is a beautiful park, well maintained with large open sites, level gravel parking and nice grass. Friendly office greeting and easy chk in.

Nice location, quiet stay. We were greeted by friendly staff. It had good accommodations for our dogs too. It was easy in and easy out.

Clean and quiet. Well set up. Playgrounds and putt putt etc for the kids. Walmart 15 minutes away. Convenience store on property.

Charming campground, Quiet day and night, for a Journey it is away from the interstate / highway noise. We stayed in our fifth wheel however there are several nice cabins and a Family sized Lodge to stay in as well as secluded tent sites in various locations. Bathrooms and Showers were always clean and stocked. The store has a wide variety of items for your camping needs. New improvements are being made all around the campground and several were in process while we were there however the staff ensured the work did not interfere with any guests or activities. There are several new Electric and Water Paved back in sites while the original sites are in a shaded section and it appears all the trees were trimmed properly to prevent from low hanging branches. We met the owners and they are super nice and treat you well as do the rest of the staff we met. One of the workers (Herman) cruised the park and was always friendly. We would stay there again.
