Road into campground is bumpy & narrow. Could be an issue for the larger vehicles. Otherwise, quiet & well organized sites. Clean area. Front desk staff extremely friendly. Thank you.

All was clean, friendly and helpful. Disappointed with ATT reception and wi-fi or cable. Starlink saved us!

A very nice rustic campground. It is a little remote and a little more troublesome to get to, but, no road noise! Run by a family and everything is meticulously maintained. We really enjoyed this campground.

Very friendly and a hidden gem in the KOA family! We will be back for a longer stay!

Friendly staff. Clean grounds. You can tell they are constantly making improvements as well. Lots to do in town and close to attractions. One of our favorite spots! The only negative I would say is that the campers across from us had 4 dogs- we thought that was a bit much. We travel with 1 older dog and was constantly barked at when we let her outside which became annoying.

Front desk helped resolve a schedule issue with no problem. Good large level sites. Internet was out but no discount. Sites had picnic table and fire pit. Bit of a challenge getting to KOA due to long one lane road

It was fine but this is the second time we stayed and both times told WIFI isn't working. This is years apart I am starting to believe there is no WIFI here.

This was a very nicely run campground, we had a great stay and will be back.

The only reason not to stay more often is the $20 fee to pick your site. The nightly cost is a little expensive when comparing what is offered at the near by Jellystone. Other than that, this campground is excellent. Super clean and can tell the owners have worked hard to keep it clean and looking like new. Could not offer one suggestion to improve. The 4th Holiday fireworks were exceptional!

The facility is beautiful but they advertised having cable and WiFi. They had neither! Cable is not a thing for me but WiFi is very important and I was extremely disappointed. That is a deal killer for me and I would have went anywhere else if I had known it was not there. KOA's are not the cheapest places to stay by a longshot but we go there because of known quality and I was very disappointed.

We parked here for ten days having some repairs completed. We called ahead to make sure that was OK and the owners had no problem with it. We arrived after hours and used after hours check in. Found our spot easily. The next day I spoke with the owners about having a spot for our RV technician somewhere near us for access to his equipment. They blocked the site next to us without question. Over the ten day stay we got to know the people and the campground and fell in love with all of it. This is a family owned and run park. This is their fourth year rejuvenating and old campground to modern standards. It is a labor of love and it shows in the thoughtfulness and good planning. This is not just thrown together cramming in as many campers as possible. The sites and roadways are all gravel. Good gravel. Not thick layers of crush and run or cheap drainage rock. That matters a LOT when using wheelchairs and walkers like two of our children. The wheels do not sink into the proper gravel. We felt at home here. Comfortable. Relaxed. Not like we were just a dollar earned. We also loved how quiet it is out here. No highway noise. No trains. No airport. We heard goats from a farm down the road, coyotes in the distance and owls. W saw lots of stars. There is a nice breeze most of the time blowing cottonwood seeds. Plenty of trees providing shade, and more being planted. As much as we loved this campground, we know it will get even better. The family that owns it has plans for improving many things, and the improvements they have already made prove they will follow through. We are looking forward to stopping here again next time we travel through the area. Springfield is now a place to steer towards rather than a stop along the way to somewhere in the distance.

We loved the rural setting for this KOA -- we even saw a few deer :-) We used this campground as our home base for exploring the Lincoln sights in downtown Springfield, so coming home to the quiet/peaceful campground after a day of urban hiking and hustle-bustle was the perfect ending for the day. We visited in mid-May 2025. If we are ever in this area again, we will definitely stay here. The showers and restrooms are very clean. We enjoyed meeting and talking with the owners who stopped by our campsite to say hello.

What a lovely little KOA! Big rig friendly, and you can keep your toad attached. Flat sites, trees, space between sites. Big win. It is tucked way off the road, so very quiet. The road is narrow to access the park, but the KOA signage is clear.
