We were only there for one night since we were just passing thru but enjoyed our stay- friendly staff, lots of things to do at the camp, obviously working on improving little things around campground! Wifi is pretty puny but we were at one of the outer sites so maybe an extender would be nice. Planning on staying here on our way back!

We love the small family friendly feel. It is the perfect place to allow our 10 year old grandson to roam freely making new friends. We like the bikes, pool, mini golf and bounce houses-so much for him to do. We felt that the place was not as well kept in the bath house nor did it have the same hands on feel now that the owners are not in residence.

We have been staying here for the State Fair for many years. Hubby goes in to town for meetings and the fair and I stay at the RV with our puppy/dog. ( FYI, I choose to stay at the RV.) They have a nice dog park, nothing really special, but nice.) The owners are really nice. The park is very quiet and not a lot of children. (This is an observation, not an editorial note.)

Small but very nice campground. We liked that all spots were drive-thru, as it made setting up so much easier. Bath and shower rooms were very clean.

Very nice koa, a bit remote but nice The patio could have been power washed to remove bird droppings and the table cleaned off before we arrived but it was a clean well maintained koa

Stayed for the state fair and it was full. Even though it was full it was very quiet.

Other than the grounds keeper the staff acted like we were a bother. They really didn't act like they enjoyed working with the public.

This is a very clean park. Well set up. Staff is very nice. We will be coming back again. Nice showers and rest rooms.

This was our second time to stay at Springfield. We had a quiet spot, the staff were helpful, and the bathrooms clean. We enjoyed the pool and went downtown to visit some of the Lincoln places. This is a wonderful campground. We would love to come back again.

I had issues with the electricity at my site. It went out at 10pm while in was in the shower after a long day. I was unable to reach anyone on the emergency number. I was able to reach them the next day (after several phone calls and a message left). I expect more for a site that was $70 a night.

Campground was not well maintained at the campsites. Needed mowed and gravel parking spot is half grass. Neighbors sewage disposal 4-6 ft from our picnic table.

Stayed 3 nights for the state fair. Had a great stay. 4 y/o grand daughter made great use of the swimming pool. It was not our first stay, and it will not be our last

It is a quiet, secluded place which I really like. The mini golf could have at least 9 holes and repaired. I also, don't like being charged extra for one of our nights because the fair was in town! That's ridiculous. I wasn't even there for the fair.

Nice place to stay and very friendly staff. We did have to leave and check into the Double J RV park the next night and I must say your KOA was nice the Double J was nicer, more well kept, but I would stay at either if there was a next time.

The campground is in a lovely location, lots of shade, out in the country and very quiet. The only negative thing was the campfire smoke…people had fires every night and left them smoldering all night and all day….very smoky. Would have preferred to open our windows for fresh air but was forced to use the AC 24/7. Would be best to be at the back of the park in the back in spots.

Great place to visit. Friendly staff and nice grounds. Pool was cool but clean. They have other yard games to make the visit fun.

Two of us were driving a motor home with a family of 8 Amish plus grandma and grandpa. The charges for extra people was almost the cost of another full hookup campsite. We can’t use You campgrounds at costs like that! All other campgrounds we used waved the charge because it was a family. Also, we came in for one night. Laundry and swimming pool closes at 8 and didn’t open till 10 am Not good

Everything was great, lots of trees & shade, quiet, friendly helpful staff. Just one thing kept rating at 4 star- brush burn pile next to our spot made everything in our camper smell smoky. Would be better if spaced further away.

This campground and its staff are awesome! We had a mechanical issue with our RV. The staff allowed us to stay past check out to take care of it and get on to our next adventure!

Nice park it’s really being fixed up. Way off the beaten path but very quiet. Liked the town of Springfield. Lincoln’s Home is a must as well as his museum.

Staff was friendly, bathrooms & showers clean. Mini golf course in desperate need of repair. Park is a long way off the main roads and roads very small and tight, almost a one way road.

This was a good overnight place. Everything was clean and well kept except the electric hookup was not in good shape. Probably some basic maintenance would help a lot. Check in lady was very nice and helpful. The road going in was very tight but not the fault of the KOA.

It is very hard to get to. The road is basically one lane, in disrepair & no shoulder to pull over for others to pass. The place was clean, the lady at the desk was very nice & helpful. However, we had a special circumstance where my husband towed our boat with our RV & I followed in our truck. We needed to unhook boat to then tow boat to the lake with our truck, but there was not an area to do it

Good location and easy to get to. Definitely off the beaten path but not so far that it's away from the hub bub of Springfield.
