Huge shout out to this KOA for their coverage over all the interior roads with gravel. This eliminates dust so Thank You. Nice spacious, huge drive thru. Staff were very professional and willing to make our stay enjoyable. Keep up the great work.

Very nice and well maintained park. Check in staff was very friendly and helpful. If you plan on staying here make sure you know the best way to get to the park. My GPS took me on some backroads that were pretty much one lane roads.

It had the bare amenities. We were beyond disappointed. There was NO WiFi, so I couldn't work. There was NO security, nobody greeting you/taking you to the camp spot for the evening. We bought firewood, had to carry it to our site, nobody/cart available. Firewood was wet. Bathrooms were dirty. Stray cat around the entire campground ALL night. Not like other KOA experiences. Super bummed!

Off the beaten path but well worth the drive, a hidden gem, beautifully maintained. The staff were excellent and the check in was flawless.

Check in was very easy and the front desk lady was very nice. It was very nice and quiet. The KOA road needs a lot of work. The website said their were only 2 spots left. However, there were many sites open for the 2 nights we stayed. mmm, what's going on with that?

Several miles of travel from the interstate, some of it on one lane roads and bridges under construction. the price was exorbitant and twice as much as the Keifer campground where we stayed the previous night, with similar amenities. We will not stay at this KOA again.

Nice enough park. 7.5 miles from highway so plenty quiet. Reasonably level sites. Hookups in proper places as opposed to some we have stayed at recently.

Very clean and well kept park. Lots of amenities that are normally not found at a KOA Journey. We would definitely stay there again.

Best thing was it is a vert quiet stay... Not enough shade, spaces too close together. We were tracking cut grass the entire stay. We suggest raking up or bagging it to prevent this problem.

We only stayed 1 night on our way to Michigan, but we are considering a longer stay to explore the Springfield area. The campground was exceptionally clean and easy to maneuver. It is well located-close enough to the highway but far enough to be quiet and relaxing.

The campground is fine and very quiet but as a "Journey", the campground is very far off the beaten path. It's on a one lane 1 road with a 1 lane bridge where you will meet other cars with your RV or Trailer. As a quick stop overnight on a longer trip this campground is not ideal.

Great stay. We had a bit of an electrical hook up problem in the first site but they quickly got us into a new site and we were off and running. Adam and his family have done a great job fixing this place up. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is passing through Springfield, Illinois.

Very clean! Super friendly staff. Things for kids to do. We stayed there to go to the Illinois state fair, nice and close, easy drive.

It was a very nice campground. The new owners have put a ton of work into the campground and it shows. The facilities were clean, the kids areas were well maintained, and we really liked this campground. The only small issue was some of the spaces were rather small, especially with two large 5th wheels with big slides on both sides of you but there's not a whole heck of a lot you can do about that

Beautiful place and grounds. Drawback: No individual sewer hookup and inconvenient dump location. Mini-golf was not maintained. Could not make a clean shot.

The access road to the KOA needs serious maintenance, to include the one lane bridge. Also when you advertise WiFi it should work and connect to the internet.

Unfortunately, this KOA does not compare to most KOA's. When we arrived we were told the WiFi was not working, but they were working on it. We came back about a week later and we told it wasn't working. We asked why and the staff said you aren't paying for it here, so it's no big deal. BUT IT DOES SHOW UP ON THEIR WRITE UP. The staff were not nice.

Peaceful, yet kid friendly. The cabin was very clean, had a rustic feel to it. Bed was comfortable, we had a great stay. We did have an issue with sleeping the 2nd night. The campers next to us kept their lights on and I could have read a book in the bedroom. I would like to see an option for curtains over the whole window area. It was really, really bright.

Good location and easy to get to. Definitely off the beaten path but not so far that it's away from the hub bub of Springfield.
