Place was very good but was being occupied by a large group. That was fine but one site of that group had a dog that they left inside the trailer with windows open while they left for a communal dinner and he barked constantly. Reported to the office but it wasn’t addressed. Next morning they all left for sight seeing and the dog barked for the 2 hours we were there before checking out.

Great campground with fantastic staff! My cat got loose and they were extremely helpful in locating her many thanks to the staff for their help.

The narrow, bumpy roads from the interstate to this KOA challenged my late arrival in the dark. The site was to usual KOA standards but had no functioning wifi. The remote location made use of cellular data dubious. I always pick KOA because of those aforementioned standards and the highest probability of functioning wifi. No wifi would have changed my selection.

The website advertises free Wi-Fi. We booked months in advance. we arrived and checked asked for the password and was told there was no Wi-Fi and hadn’t been all summer. We had to hot spot off our cell phones for Wi-Fi using all our data plan and paying extra for additional data. They had months of opportunities to inform us of no Wi-Fi. Plus we paid for Wi-Fi as part of the fee.

The campground itself is great. Clean and pretty quiet. The road to get to the campground is a little rough and bumpy. Baby grooms and showers were clean.

It was just an overnight stop for us on the way home. Dump station is more difficult to get to than most campgrounds as you have to go all the way around the park instead of as you are leaving it’s right at front. Dog park could be a little larger but otherwise a good stay.

Campground is pretty typical of KOA in general. Really liked how quiet it was, isolated out on a country road far from highway noise. Would've been perfectly happy in any spot except our spot. Right next to 2 cabins with air conditioner cycling on and off. That's nitpicking a bit but there were open sites. Staff is friendly and helpful, I probably could have requested another site. I would recomme

It was clean and quiet in the evenings. We enjoy the extra room between sights. We are planning our extended family campout next June for this KOA.

Clean and well-kept campground. You can see the recent updates the new owners have made over the last few years. Good quiet location relative to Springfield, IL; a few minutes off the highway. Keep up the good work!

The actual camping spots were so nice. Beautifuly manicured grass areas. We were parked by a very large grassy secluded area where our two babies(dogs) could run and play. We defenatley recommend this KOA.

Everyone was very friendly. It is off the beaten path a little but very quiet and nice. We did get charged 10.00 for checking in early, but we did arrive before checkin. The sites were large and fit our 43 foot 5th wheel just fine. We would definitely stay here again.

The only thing I didn’t like was to pay for early check in. I didn’t mind to just wait. I understand to get charge for late check out.

Beautiful, quiet and secluded. Spaces are level and very well kept. Wi-fi wasn’t working but everything else was great. Owner was very welcoming.

We were there for the Labor Day weekend and the Springfield Mile Motorcycle Races. They were very accommodating and had a very clean and well kept facility.

Very clean park with several activities for the kids. Miniature golf course could use some maintenance. Pull through sites are large and well maintained with updated fire pits. Each staff member we encountered was extremely friendly and helpful. Shower houses and bathrooms are extremely clean. This was a last minute holiday weekend stay for us close to home. Very nice KOA we will return to.
