The only reason I don't give this campground a full-throated 5 stars is because of the circuitous route and ultimately small county road -- not the campground's fault -- you must travel to arrive there. It IS doable for all sized RVs and they have done an excellent job of marking the route with KOA signs, but it is definitely off the beaten path. You won't find this campground by accident. :)

We ended up booking at the Springfield MO. KOA and showed up at the Springfield IL. facility. They were kind enough to switch the reservation and the took us in very graciously. The site was quiet and the area Wes beautiful and well taken care of. We would definitely stay again. Thank for everything.

Nice campground only stayed 1 night but there looked like there were activities and things to do. Had a really nice dog 'camp' (park). Would come back again if in the area.

The campground is in a great location, just far enough off of the highway, but still easy to find. It was very pretty there and the sunrises and sunsets were just gorgeous. Very quiet.

The spot was perfect for our 30foot loft travel trailer. The grounds and bathrooms were very clean. Store was well stocked.

We enjoyed our stay. Your campground is very quiet. We will stay again. However, we stayed the nights of 11/3, 11/14, and 11/15, and the internet wasn't working. At check-in, we were told, "We are having problems with our internet." I'm guessing your internet doesn't work and very little is being done to fix the problem. If I'm wrong, I'd love to be corrected. Also, cable TV doesn't work.

WI-FI WAS OUT AND COULDN'T GET GET CABLE CHANNELS TO COME THROUGH. OTHER THAN THAT, CAMPGROUND WAS NICE.

For a 'Journey' grade campsite this was excellent. Really nice, spaced out, level sites with clean facilities. Campground landscaping had been clearly taken care of. Staff were welcoming. We stayed two nights on way to and back from a Rally and would definitely look to stay again if our travels brings us close to Springfield.

A must stop for Rt 66 travelers very level spots lots of amenities for the kids and adults lots of upgrades very good wifi
