We came up to visit the Lincoln monuments… It was a lovely weekend, weather was fabulous! Loved that the Lincoln Memorial Garden was so close, we spotted an eagle, osprey, blue heron, snowy egrets… ��

1st time I stayed in a camping cabin with 1/2 bath & it was FINE! Loved convenience of 1/2 bath & all linens & other amenities. Very nice campground, well laid out, clean & well maintained.

We stayed only one night but enjoyed the cabin, the hospitality of the hosts, and the jumping pillow and mini golf. We would definitely stay again!

Our family was traveling through Springfield and stayed one night in a KOA camping cabin. The setting is lovely and we had a good experience. Many nice amenities.

My wife and I were traveling home and decided we needed a break. Found the Springfield KOA and there was a cabin available. The staff was extremely accommodating. Since we weren't prepared for camping we rented a deluxe cabin that had linens and a 1/2 bath. It was clean and comfortable. The staff even loaned us a styrofoam cooler. Quite night and a great break from driving.

Had a wonderful time staying at the KOA in Springfield. Lots of things to do and staff went above and beyond to meet our needs. Everything in our cabin was very clean and it was very well stocked. Great prices and great people. Planning another trip back in a couple of weeks. This is now our favorite spot in this area.

This KOA is a bit run down and is in need of some updates. The bunk beds are like sleeping on a bed of bricks which makes it impossible to sleep. The chairs around the outside table are dangerous. My dad sat back in his chair and flipped backwards onto the ground injuring his head. The tv doesn’t work and there are a bunch of rocks on the jump pad making it impossible to jump.

The staff were very kind and helpful. The restrooms were nice and clean as was our cabin. There was plenty of things to do for our Grandkids and if we ever get back that way we will stay there again.

Cute, small campground several miles off the highway. Quiet, well kept. Loved the cabin that included TV, refrig, microwave and a very efficient air conditioner! Also some very beautiful parks, nature areas and large lake nearby. I could have stayed for several days!

Very nice owners. The pool & showers were very nice & clean! The mini golf area needs a bit of updating but I know the new owners are working hard to polish up the area. We’ll be back!

We stayed three nights! The cabin was very clean! We slept well! The grounds were well maintained and the employees were very friendly and helpful!! We had a good time!!!

This was by far the nicest (rustic) cabin I've ever experienced at a KOA. I especially enjoyed the real door which didn't swell and stick in the humidity, and the functioning air conditioning so we could enjoy the cabin upon arrival. The only downside to this KOA is the excessive charge for pets ($20), especially when I leave the cabin in pristine condition. Nice staff.

Everything was great. The only problem we had was that we couldn't sit on the porch/swing due to huge black bees that I believe live in the wood above the swing because they kept going in and out of the same crack in the wood. Otherwise we had a great time and will definitely be back in a few weeks. Oh yea wanted to make sure the man got his wallet back that I turned in that we found on picnic tab

Off the beaten path but well worth it. Quiet and plenty of shade. More than enough things to keep kids busy. Clean bathroom and showers.

I always love staying at the KOA while traveling for work. This location is great. The only issue I had with this stay is I stayed in a newer cabin and it has a very very strong odor of the fresh cut mfd panels used on the walls and it made me nauseous and gave me a headache. I left the door open for a while and it helped with the smell.

Great place to camp. Hosts were very friendly and worked hard to keep their guests happy. Shower house was kept clean and well stocked. Lots of extras as well such as an inground pool, free wifi, mini golf, jump pad, playground and even a small dog park. 100% would recommend this park.

This KOA has achieved the perfect balance between rustic and the comfort of home. We loved staying here! The facilities were clean, staff was very friendly, and there was a fun atmosphere! Our toddler loved the playground and jump pad and we enjoyed looking at the stars and hearing the sounds of nature. We will definitely be staying again!

We travel the country twice a year using KOA cabins. I have a KOA profile including 2 dogs. At check in I was told about a $20 per dog cleaning fee for a 1 night stay of 13 hours. They did end up charging me for 1 dog but what an overpriced fee- not disclosed upon reservation. Our cabin beds had stained and dirty mattress covers. If you charge for cleaning the cabin should be clean. Won't be back.

Enjoyed the KOA at Rochester, Illinois. The deluxe cabin was very clean and roomy and the grounds were well kept.

Nice people, but was not happy that you pay a good amount of money for a Super Deluxe Cabin and it does not come with paper towels, linens, coffee, etc. without having to pay extra for it.
