Staff was friendly, however did not return a phone msg I had left. The dog park was too small to be helpful in letting our miniature Aussies work off energy and our campsite would have been a muddy mess had there been rain. The bathrooms were very clean and we enjoyed showers with plentiful hot water. Thank you

Nice, quiet place to stay. Off the beaten path. No highway noise, and convenient to the city. Nice big trees, but sites could use a raking/blow, lots of fallen leaves. Bathrooms were updated, but no t.p. in men's room. Bring some bug spray - biting midges left me pretty well eaten up.

A little challenging to get to. Some branches on the trip in very low especially in the city area. Enjoyed the quiet and the campground.

Campground was clean and sites looked well taken care of - quiet and peaceful. Could use updated landscaping (wildflowers/mums). The dog run needs updating/fixing as well as cleaning up after visitors who didn't do it themselves. No children with us, but activity area looked run down. Not very appealing. Pool looked very small. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Cozy campground with personality to boot!! Five star restrooms, extremely clean grounds, personable and helpful staff. It’s obvious that this franchise takes great pride in ownership. Would definitely book again!!

Staff was very friendly, campground was well maintained. The space between sites was good and not up against the other camper. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone that ask where to stay in Springfield,Illinois.

Great KOA. A bit off of the beaten path but very quiet backwoods location. One of our favorites to date. Far enough away to enjoy your stay. Close enough so there is no fuss.

Booked on line, didn’t see a full hookup. When we arrived we got a electric/water site. They didn’t mention full hookup, that would’ve been nice. Out in the middle, no shade.

I think it very poor that a member of our group was charged $10 an hour fee for an early check in. There was no exiting traffic and plenty of open sites. Hope the $20 was worth it!! The property was ok.

The site I was in was tight but the park is well maintained and they have great staff are helpful, just be prepared for your rig and towed vehicle to get dusty getting to the park

This campground is so cute!! lots to do for the kids, cute cabins with comfy beds and good energy. The staff were all extremely accommodating and welcoming. The campground is clean and well maintained and tucked in away from the hustle and bustle of town.

Nice, well kept campground. Nice people. Quiet and peaceful. Would stay again. Pull thru sites are a little close together, but long. The road to get there can be challenging if you meet someone coming the other way. Good place to stay when visiting the area.

My only disappointment was not getting to enjoy the KOA camper’s appreciation weekend. We made sure to book this last weekend for that reason. We even spent an extra $20.00 to pick our spot. We reserved it back in June. Other KOA’s allow us to pick our spot without a charge and also observe the stay Friday and get Saturday free.

A really nice place. We had an upgraded cabin. We've stayed in other cabins before and appreciated the extras. Easy check in. We came in late, went to bed, next day they had taken care of registration and payment for us. Nice pool, play area. Nearby to parks, and city attractions.

Too far out of the way. Compared to galesburg facility I thought this park needs cleaned up. Staff road up and down park at high rate of speed stirring up dust in the evenings on the Golf cart. Smell of natural gas was terrible

no handicapped shower or toilet and only one bathhouse for the fairly large campground. Nice fire pit no cooking rack- I was told-$80 a night lot doesn’t warrant one. And we count on a functioning dump station at KOAs one reason we have membership- this one was backed up and our waste mixed with others- a gross and unsanitary place. Everything was just fine. The only thing I didn’t like was when I went in to make a reservation for next year and I said the same lot number would be just fine, we had had that one for the last 3 years, she said that would be an additional fee of $20.00 to guarantee it. If someone else asked for it also after me and paid the $20.00 I would be bumped to another spot.

The area was nice but needed some work. It was a quiet campground that wasn’t far from the city. Twonout of the three nights, we had no water at all for a couple of hours. We adjusted but it would’ve been nice to know so we could fill our tank beforehand.

Good location and easy to get to. Definitely off the beaten path but not so far that it's away from the hub bub of Springfield.
