This Campground is lovely! I mean it is just pretty - with all the grass - spacious sites and cleanliness. Adam the owner is very nice and friendly. The only down side is that it is off the beaten path a bit. A lovely drive drive though...

Very clean campground, owner very nice and helpful. Small but very nice, away from noise of the highway, only bad thing is the road going to it. Don't go in until the check in time. You will meet people coming out.

Perfect journey koa for a night stay on a travel day! Clean, staff is super friendly, recommended a great restaurant to us. The campground is quiet and off the freeway so it’s relaxing!

Campground is absolutely clean. Very quiet, lots of space between RVs, nice playground for kids, doggie park, and grassy field for walking or playing games. If we come back to this area, we will definitely stay again.

Very well maintained campground. Don't let the road intimidate you...it is fine, just a little narrow! Go slow and enjoy. It is all paved.

Clean facilities, nice campground. Awkward hookups—electric and water hookups were on right side of site, while sewer was on left side.

We had a secluded spot near one of the cabins. Easy check-in. Clean bathrooms and showers. Well maintained camping area. Quiet evening. We did have some concerns about the road flooding signs, so we left earlier than planned (6:30 a.m.) as it had started raining about 5:30 a.m.

No planes trains or automobiles. Super quiet and clean. New owners seem to be doing everything right.

Could of warned us WiFi was down before we arrived. Men’s bathroom was not cleaned, one stall had no TP. Road in and out was rough & narrow. Site next to us was big and loud. Pool area was nice

Beautiful park in a very quiet and peaceful location. A little off the freeway but that’s what gets you so close to great golf courses and lake Springfield. Don’t let the short drive keep you from enjoying this terrific spot. It’s worth it and Adam will take amazing care of you

The grounds are extremely clean and well maintained. We used the laundry and pool and found them to be in perfect condition. Change for the laundry was available in the office and the campground store was very well stocked. And there was always staff member available for assistance and information. After visiting KOA’s in 26 states, this location was the best. The Hoffman’s.

We had a wonderful stay! We were in one of the cabins that had a half bath. Very clean, quiet, and safe. Will be returning when visiting Illinois again.

The camp itself is beautiful the amenities all seemed nice. I stayed almost 2 months April and May the pool never opened. Not a big problem I was there working and wouldn’t have used it. The owner were nice and moved me to a better site. There was one major downside, the wi-fi never worked so the entire stay I was providing my own. I was told more then once it would be working in a couple days.

The cabin was clean, but very small. Kind of misleading on the website. No place for putting things out of way. Very little floor space. Wi-Fi was out. No tv reception. Dog park could be bigger.

Camp site was kind of a swamp due recent rain. Given the light usage while we were there I don't understand why we weren't moved before we arrived.

Mosquitos the bighting flies and the knats were terrible no wifi and the cable was ridiculous not worth the money I paid.should of asked for a refund.

Great site, beautiful spacious layout with perfectly level pull-through sites, very friendly staff. The women's shower was hotel level, nicely tiled and with lots of hot water. I'm rating this site 5 stars for these reasons, but I do wish they had been already spraying for the nuisance number of mosquitoes. Maybe that was to not hurt the also-present cicadas, which I enjoyed experiencing.

Beautiful, quiet campground. Way off the highway but well worth the drive. Owners are pleasant and trying very hard to upgrade the facility. Bathrooms are old but very clean and the showers are better than most. We will certainly stay again if we get back in the area.

Good location and easy to get to. Definitely off the beaten path but not so far that it's away from the hub bub of Springfield.
