The campground has beautiful big shade trees and lawns. It has a big play area and a well maintained pool, restrooms and showers. The staff was very nice and in the office later than most campgrounds. And best of all, in mid June, there were 1000's of fire flies and no biting insects.

Stay was ok. Did not find a dumpster to throw away my trash. Loud noises from mobile home late at night. Car doors slamming, etc.. it was a beautiful park.

Campsite was very nice, bathrooms were clean. I like the family bathroom, made it easier with the little ones. Pool was clean and playground was not large but big enough. Staff were extremely nice, friendly and helpful.

Nice park. We stayed there on the 6th of July and everyone had left following the weekend. Nice place. Nice staff. It's very quiet but the tradeoff is that it is a little off the beaten path.

Facility clean, hosts welcoming, fireworks amazing. Was disappointed that a $20 “day pass” was charged to my grandson for swimming for an hour.

We stayed over the fourth of July and were treated to a great fireworks display. They did an awesome job! They also were kind enough to check us in early since we messed up our time with a zone change. We had some shade and a breeze, which was delightful. Everyone seemed to be enjoying the pool too.

Always a good place to camp in the summer. The pool is well maintained and takes the sting out of Illinois summers! We were site 15 - patio site. Level site, plenty of shade and a nice fire pit. The staff is always helpful and friendly. The bathroom/shower house is well kept (yes, floors can get wet but that’s because there are always lots of swimmers) and the Kampstore has lots of yummy snacks!

Sites were nice, near level, folks were friendly and helpful. July 4th weekend and his fireworks display was outstanding. No reason to go anywhere else for fireworks. We would stay here again. Stayed in a 38’ class A.

What a great place! Tent site was perfect- great flat grassy area, nice fire pit and picnic table. Bathrooms and showers were nice and clean. I wish I could have stayed longer but I was just passing through. Thanks for a great, safe place to overnight!

This is the second time we have stayed at Springfield KOA on our way from Canada to Ohio. The campground is wonderful (patio site), the pool clean and delightful, and the staff very friendly and attentive. Lots of space for walking our dog and letting her explore. The wifi was strong and reliable. Highly recommend this place!

OK untill I went to the office with my dog (beagle mix) and was told to leave the office. I don't think they like dogs!!!!

Best KOA ever!!! The young lady that assisted us was so very nice and helpful; talk about friendly! The KOA was spotless with a great deal of room in every site. Our site was awesome and the neighbors were all pleasant. I couldn't say enough about how wonderful this KOA was. Please, if your passing through Springfield, IL., check this place out. I was in the D2 cabin, the ceiling fan blades were covered in dust. The air conditioner filter was covered in dust. These are two items that should be cleaned before a new guest checks in. Otherwise, it was a great stay, as always. Thank you.

One night, shade helpful due to unusual heat, no TV connection terminals on site but other sites had the cable connections. A good stay, nice park, a bit of a rural drive off main highways but relaxing and if staying longer opportunities for refreshment.

Nice clean campground. We were in our way home from a 10 day trip and only spent around 12 hours at the campground. Very nice and polite hosts.

First time using the Glamping tent. Very well made, zippers on all sides to let the breeze inside on a rather hot & muggy June. A stand up fan was provided which helped circulate the air flow. A very small lock was provided to keep you safe at night & closed up during the day while out & about. Friendly staff, very clean restroom & variety of snacks to purchase. I would stay here again.

Nice smaller campground. Well maintained, modern bathrooms and very clean. Grandkids loved pool and other activities available. This was our 3rd stay as we pass thru Illinois.

Bathroom floors were not kept up with the water on the floors, my child fell on the wet floors. Firewood bundles were skimpy and over priced. Pool was exceptional as were the playground equipment.
