I have mixed feelings about this KOA, as we have been staying here on and off for fifteen years. In that time, the campground has expanded and upgraded. The big negative for us was the bathrooms. They were not cleaned at all during our 3 day stay. There was toilet paper and candy wrappers on the floor that went untouched for days. The trash was overflowing by the time we left. Disappointing.

Cabin had everything we needed but seemed on the older side. Could probably use a good floor to ceiling deep clean. Kitchen table felt sticky (paper plates stuck to table). Very uncomfortable couch; definitely needs updating. We could barely sit on it. It was just ok for us as we were passing through. We weren't 'wowed'.

Nice place. Not very shaded. Easy to get around. Showers adequate, but small.

The campground was very clean and well-kept. The location was great for our visit to Springfield.

I had made reservations back in March for a place to stay as we journey back to Texas from up north. I did advise this KOA that I had an extra truck and cargo trailer as we are full time and travel with all of our toys. Most KOA’s let us use overflow or unoccupied spaces to park the extra. This KOA advised me a short time in advance of arrival date that I would have to pay an extra $20.

My kids loves all the things that were available to do. The cabins were nice. Recommend better heaters for the cabins. Our heater was broken. The showers were pretty good but would have enjoyed it more if it had hot water. Overall we enjoyed our time and may come back for another stay.

The showers were dirty and there was no hot water. Also, the toilet bowls were smeared with fecal matter and the floors were filthy. I had to wait a long time in the office when I had a question because there was no staff anywhere around. Other than that, it was just like any other average campground. Not what I would expect from a KOA.

The mattress in the cabins need to be upgraded, they are very thin.

This is a nice and peaceful KOA. Site was easy to pull into. The only issue was the shower controls in the bathrooms. 2 of the shower knobs in the men showers were not installed correctly and the water was lukewarm.

Cabin not very clean; kitchen drawers dirty. Washed all utensils/dishes prior to using. When we swept prior to departing, there was a lot of dog hair (we did not have a dog); sign stated no dogs in cabin - not to mention the dog poop we "discovered" by our patio. Mini golf needs a facelift, and the bouncers should be inflated earlier in the day to allow drying; our kids got wet. Staff very nice.

The camping cabin was lovely. I love the night stand and light by the bed. Makes reading in bed and shutting off the light easy. The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised. The only problem in the cabin was the deadbolt on the door. You couldn’t use it. The deadbolt was not inline with the hole on the door frame, so I couldn’t secure the door properly.

Great signage leading to campground-thank you! Stayed in a back in site with plenty of room between sites. Bathrooms were modern, although not particularly clean.

Our first visit was pleasantly surprising, enough that we will likely be back again. We were just passing through so we got there late and left the next day

This campground is so nice. I liked being surrounded by woods and no street noise. It is conveniently located for visiting our family in the Springfield area. Thanks for keeping so clean and nice.

Could have used another trash dumpster near the front entrance. Very peaceful and away from any road noise. Road to campsite was a bit rough and narrow. Electrical box was shorting out but technician came out immediately and repaired

I liked that there was a camping kitchen available nearby to wash my dishes. The restrooms were clean. I enjoyed my stay. Nice shaded area for tent camping.

It was an overnight stay, very clean, very quiet. Very pleasant people to work with. It was further off the road than we expected but it was worth the drive.
