Nice park, spaces are a bit tight. Very close to all of South Padre Island shops and resturants.

Nice park but parking our 43' coach was a challenge. Park guides could have guided us in from the opposite direction for easier site access.

Very nice park and excellent service personnel. Blue tank restrooms and showers are kept clean but are outdated. Also many residents have dogs and they clean up after them. Barking during quiet hours is not a problem, but can be rather noisy sometimes during daylight hours.

We absolutely loved it there. Perfect location close to the beach, bikeable to bars and restaurants. Everything was clean and very well kept up, and the staff was helpful and very courteous! I would recommend South Padre Island KOA to anyone!

Excellent Stay. Enjoyed the events, the grounds. I wish the showers and bathrooms where better kept seem outdated but overall working.

Considering the tight quarters, we felt the cost was too high. Staff was nice, but we would not return.

The stay was great. RV park is too cramped and not enough room to drive and park your rig with all the vehicles parked on the side of the road

We had a fantastic month. It started with the very helpful workampers who helped us wedge into our site. The office staff were always friendly and fun to talk to. The activity coordinator Emily was quick to get us involved with events since I'm a musician. The Christmas eve and new year's eve parties were great! Such a great location for accessing SPI!

Lovely temp spot for one night. We came in one day early for long term stay due to winds. Vety accomodating. We moved over quickly the next day for our two month stay. Jessica and Kim were a breath of fresh air compared to last two years in front office.

It is a very nice campground with a great staff. It is very clean and the staff is very helpful. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is the WiFi is mediocre. You have to connect and then go through a portal to log in which inhibits your own bridge. Even with that it wouldn't be bad if it is fast. It was not very reliable after 9 am.

We enjoyed our stay, parked in 06 which was right alongside the entrance and even though we got traffic going by, we only had one neighbor:) great pool and access to many attractions. Support staff were wonderful, especially Chuck:) loved the activities, sunsets and weather.

Great park. It's a little tight for larger RV's but the staff was VERY helpful when we departed and assisted in departing our space without incident. The location was fantastic as it was close to a couple of good restaurants and an easy bike ride to the beach & bars. We'd definitely stay here again.

Very well run KOA. Loss of the Pier 19 restaurant is a minus, but there are several good restaurants within walking distance. We have already reserved our stay for next year and are anxious to return.

well maintained grounds, plenty of help, cramped spaces, not enough room in showers, had to take short showers because of hot water running out...didn't feel like it was worth the money charged for 11 day stay. when re-visiting So Padre we will stay at the RV park down the road

My husband came down with covid on Thursday and we gave 24 hr notice we couldn't stay Friday night. They said they could not re emburse us. We live 40 miles away and felt it would be safer for residents to go home.

Spaces are very tight. Site we were assigned was away from any view potential. We spent the entire week looking at other people’s rvs. Not pleasant. We won’t book a week long stay again without ensuring some kind of view other than rvs. Great staff. Loved the garbage pickup. Guy that guided us to and into our site was not too effective helping us park.

My husband and I stayed at the SPI KOA from 12/27-01/07/23.This was our 4th visit to SPI KOA. Great location on the bay and close to gulf, restaurants and shopping. Campsite was adequate with a nice patio, although sites were very close together. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Amenities were adequate. Special enterrtainment events scheduled and were enjoyed.

I like this KOA. Like most KOA's, it is very clean and the staff is always so nice. I like that they have a separate section for dogs as well. Location is great and it is very quiet. Always meet great people.

This was our 3rd visit to SPI KOA. A favourite place for us. Disappointed that they did not host a Christmas dinner this year. We look forward to the improvements they be making to the park in the future.

Everyone in the office was extremely helpful, answered all the questions we had. The site was very nice and the hookups easily accessible. Thirsty Thursday was an added bonus. The sunsets were stunning, best we’ve seen since our stay on Key West.

Loved our stay and can't wait to return. Staff was excellent, helpful and friendly! I would like to suggest a dog wash area, as it is difficult to wash the dog in the rocks in the neighboring RV's space. (That is where our water hook up is located.) Thanks!

The employees you have there are great! The park is getting old and needs improvement. Sites are old , the sites are hard to walk on and a trip hazard,(big rocks, s/b gravel. No sidewalks on the road in and out of the park. Lots of CUSTOMERS talking about how it needs to be updated. Bottom line is KOA Corp needs to spend some serious money on this park and show some urgency in getting it done.

Our stay at South Padre was great! Nice pool & a sufficient gym with equipment from the 90s. The only down fall was all the campers with fake green grass mats for their dogs to pee and poop on, we stayed at site 136 & there was a KOA worker living behind us with 3 dogs that pooped outside their camper & they let it sit there for days. I complained about this during our stay, yet they didn’t clea

Great facility and location. Staff are always around, picking up your trash bags and keeping the park looking great. Nice and clean. Sites are not too tight - better than many other KOA parks.

Christmas getaway. The Pier 19 sign at the entrance either needs removing or restoring as it gives a poor image on arrival. Dog walk area was very nice and very well equipped to keep it clean. See you again.

We were there for the New Year we had a great time we love the entertainment that you had for us on New Years Eve it was awesome. You all had great food and drinks. Everybody was had a great time. People were so friendly and we loved being there for the New Year we are coming back in April of 2023. And we are making plans for the summer. Love you keep up the good work in making KOA SPI The best

Site 178 was to small for my rig. Tight up against bushes on one side and overhang padio on other side. Could not extend awning as it would hit the tree. People were friendly and glad to see events. No matter how small the rig, you need to help them into spot. Might have prevented the damage across from me. Also you may want to stop People from coming into the park at midnight.

We really enjoyed our stay at South Padre. The camping location is awesome, close to beaches. Service and staff have been super good and general cleanness is excellent despite the strong wind that was making the life little bit harder. Our spot was tight (like more or less all spots) but we've been lucky because for the whole stay (almost 20 days) nobody occupied the spot in front of us so we have space for the car and also free view.
