The park and the area were wonderful. One of the golf cart rental companies came to the rv park and picked us up as we came without a tow vehicle. Probably couldn't happen during busy season. They offered to wash our rv. The beaches were wonderful. I wish we could have stayed longer but rain was expected and it isn't that relaxing to sit on the beach in the rain. Great place, highly recommended.

Always a beautiful stay, from the spectacular views to the abundance care that the staff puts in to see every guests needs are met. Definitely would recommend to all.

Love it here…this time, sadly, we left with a truck and camper full of little ants �������� we were in #119 so maybe a bit of spraying will end the problem !! Thank you

Very disappointed that we were not told about the Wi-Fi being down. I was told it had been down for a few weeks. guys were there still working on it. Also the website stated my nightly rate at $126.00. I was having trouble with booking online and when finally booked the price stated $140.00. I wish I had taken a picture of it as the price did change to $140.00 as I was finalizing the booking.

Everyone was great and the park is beautiful. The only thing I didn't like is the pool area was closed earlier than was listed.

We enjoyed our time there, close to all the attractions The park was in very good condition all utilities worked well they did however have an emergency water shutdown for about an hour they communicated to the park guests as the work was being done Will definitely stay here again Thanks KOA

We loved our stay at South Padre KOA! The views were great, the weather was great (a little breezy) and we just loved it. We'll probably be back in August 2024.

Nice clean park with a fantastic pool. It was hot while we visited so we used the pool a lot and mostly had it to ourselves.

Every chance we can get away we try to stay there, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful....they always greet you with a smile & make sure your set up & stay is comfortable. The park is so clean & quiet a perfect getaway from the daily grind. As soon as we arrive we put away our phones, forget about work & all the external noise. Thank you for making it such a wonderful place to visit.

Hands down, they have the best pool ever. We stayed here after a month of travel and we were ready for a break. We spent 2/days lounging by the pool. We had it to ourselves and it was lovely. The campground is very nice and we used the laundry which was great. We were located right next to the row of single bath houses - awesome! I highly recommend this KOA �ϋ�

staff was very nice but the park is in need of updating. the new restrooms are very nice. the pool area is very dirty and old looking. pool furniture was falling apart. very old wood picnic tables in the rv spots. overall it was a good stay

Great park. Loved our bay view. Even though it was more expensive than any other park in the area, we still felt we got value from our stay. Note that the only disappointment was that after paying the high rate, we were notified that they do not have WiFi.

We were not told at check in that the WiFi was not working. When we called to ask we were told it was out of service at least for a week but the front desk wasn’t sure. This particular KOA is very pricey and if promised amenities are not operational they need to disclose at check in and offer a price adjustment.

People must be trained to pick their dogs waste afterwards there were many many incidents where there is fresh waste in site, we pick up after our pups 100% of the time and we would much appreciate the fact that dog owners were more responsible otherwise we had a great time with only the above mention issue

The park and staff are as always outstanding. We reserve our stay for this time of the year as the weather is still warm and the children are in school. We looked forward to using the pool (no children), however this year my wife injured herself the first night which did not allow her to enter the pool. We still enjoyed the view across the bay and our afternoons sitting on the patio and play cards

My first time camping, also my first time staying at a KOA. SPI KOA was pretty nice! I was impressed with the friendly staff and the accommodations they provided. I however picked to camp while it was still pretty hot and humid. Will definitely attempt another trip here when the weather is cooler.

Our stay was pleasantly surprising. We stayed in K24. The only downside was that the floor boards were in bad shape and sticking out so that was a safety hazard. My husband is a disable veteran and almost tripped multiple times on those uneven boards. The restroom had huge red ants on the wall and inside the bath tub.

The best KOA we have ever stayed at. Clean clean clean. Showers were amazing. Pool was amazing. Dog park was amazing. Staff was amazing. Already planning a return to see the rest of the new buildings they are constructing. This parks staff was accessible all the time. We had a breeze often and the sunsets are spectacular. Beaches are close. Hats off to this KOA.

The ladies in the office are nice and helpful and the site space is decent - the park cleanliness needs some work. The bathrooms are not kept clean daily, people not picking up their dog poop is not addressed (or being picked up after by the team) and the guys ride around on golf carts but does not get off the carts to clean up the small pieces of trash left at sites or spray for weeds.

S. Padre KOA was nice as usual (been here 5 or 6 times in the last 2 years.... but... this time the wireless was not working due to construction. Had I known beforehand I could have taken measures to compensate but that was not the case hence my rating of 3 vs. 5. Otherwise it was good and I'll be back.

Cabin was clean and well supplied with bath towels, dishwashing detergent and bedding. I was told at the office that there was no WiFi but that was no problem. Adding the Golf Channel to the tv would be nice. We really enjoyed our stay at this KOA.

RVs that stay overnight or long term should turn off their outside lights at night. 2 RVs across from us (unoccupied) let their outside lights on for 4 days.

We really enjoyed our stay at South Padre. The camping location is awesome, close to beaches. Service and staff have been super good and general cleanness is excellent despite the strong wind that was making the life little bit harder. Our spot was tight (like more or less all spots) but we've been lucky because for the whole stay (almost 20 days) nobody occupied the spot in front of us so we have space for the car and also free view.
