The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, caring and helpful. Always ready to help. It was disappointing our cabin did not have Wifi; the Keurig did not work; the banister on the deck came apart and two of the patio chairs needed repair. The cable TV did not work correctly and it took two maintenance personnel to get it working correctly. The location was great; looking out over the bay.

We rented a cottage that we found out later was to be demolished. We weren’t told that & the accommodations were horrible.no wifi, doors didn’t close,dangerous with electrical cords running around the cottage,some shades didn’t work, parts of the fridge were missingey. We have complained to KOA & haven’t received a reply…horrible customer service. We were ripped off, didn’t get what

Very friendly staff. Clean. Nice location. Had a great Get Together for the Thanksgiving holiday. Dinner in the tent. They provided turkey, dressing, potatoes and beverages. Others that wanted to, brought a dish to share. Huge turnout, lots of different foods.

Staff is extremely helpful being able to purchase propane and have your vehicle and coach washed is extremely convenient. I talked to two different staff members about marijuana being used on the camp grounds. This is some thing I don’t want to experience with my stay.

Staff friendly. Park clean. Spaces decent size. Showers not great. Ladies shower had rusty shower caddy that looked nasty. Men's shower 2 of three stalls not usable. One shower that was usable the faucet was faulty and hard to control temp.

Everything was fine except we were disapointed in the small size of the cabins. Will opt for the larger ones next time.

The cabins were great but no Wi-Fi was available which was listed as an amenity and now the cabins are being taken out for more rvs so probably won’t come there again. Kind of messy and torn up because of the deconstruction but the people were awesome! And location is great

The folks were nice, the late check in works great. The only issuer I had was the house keeping at our cabin. I discovered the morning of check out on the bed sheet under my pillow a nasty stain of what I’m not going into on this site. When housing keeping put on the mattress sheet there was no way they didn’t see this stain!!! The biggest negative ratings on this. I have never experienced t

Disappointed with the view! Paid for a premium site thinking we would have a view of the bay. NOT! We had a view of the playground and bounce pad! We do not have children or pets, but always seem to get placed in a site directly in front of one or the other every time we stay at a KOA. Location was great, campground not so much.

Was a nice area. Camp site are pretty tight. Didn’t like how the workers and new neighbors used my front door space as their sidewalk. People kept walking in front of my bedroom window upsetting our dogs. It felt like the neighbor in front of us was taking over and we were squished to a tight space.

We were there for 6 nights. It was a very enjoyable stay. The reception ladies were very pleasant and helpful. The workers were always ready to help out or answer questions. No issues!

This is our favorite place to stay! Everyone at this KOA is super friendly and helpful! The spot we stayed in was nice, the pool is awesome, the shower houses and laundry room are always clean! We feel safe there. Our son rides his bike around and we enjoy walking our dogs over to the dock! We highly recommend!

Great location, but as I told the staff, the sites are too close together. Literally couldn’t get to the faucet to turn the water on and off without squeezing past the other trailer which was less than a foot away from me. Even in late October rates were still about $90/night.

Everything was excellent. We were really comfortable knowing that campground personnel were constantly driving around the grounds making sure everything was in order. Excellent staff as well.

Our stay was awesome! Great pools and jaquazzi ! Every thing is clean and feels clean. Very nice and helpful staff!! Short 1 mile walk to the beach! Staff was helpful in getting us an RV wash service! The most important thing to know about this Koa campsite, is that it is very safe! Very family oriented. Staff is always available making the camp ground safe for its customers. Erlinda J. KS

Staff has mixed messages regarding when WiFi would be upgraded and available for use. Staff also gave out mixed messages on where we were allowed to go to fish on-site. Too many bollard light and lit sign light out. New Bath houses lack hooks for clothing and scrub brushes for toilets.

We really enjoyed our stay at South Padre. The camping location is awesome, close to beaches. Service and staff have been super good and general cleanness is excellent despite the strong wind that was making the life little bit harder. Our spot was tight (like more or less all spots) but we've been lucky because for the whole stay (almost 20 days) nobody occupied the spot in front of us so we have space for the car and also free view.
