It was great location and simple to access. Clean space, and everyone we engaged was friendly. Owners were helpful and kind, and we had a great feeling about this KOA. Only issue is it was a bit of a drive off the highway, but we found it easily enough. Thank you, George

Easy in and out. Arrived late and Carlos swung by to make sure everything was in good order. Sparkling clean baths. Nice trail to walk the doggo. A+

Quiet, clean, peaceful, friendly staff. my tent sites got a deluge of rain water. please add gravel and raise those sites. Will gladly tent again

Great tent sites and great cabin all around beautiful location definitely would stay here again. Overall staff was super friendly and the owners as well.

My husband and I stayed at this campground and it was absolutely wonderful!! The people were amazing and so friendly, they really made it a memorable experience!! I will 100% book here again in the future! Thank you all for making us feel welcome!

People at this KOA were very friendly and helpful. It had everything you need. Showers were clean with hot water, and laundry was very nice.

The facilities were always clean and the staff was pleasant. Not much going on unless you stay on a weekend. Our site was a camper site,not tent friendly. Seems there weren't any sites with hookups for tents that were grassy. This campground seems to be geared more towards campers

Such a jam packed weekend! What a great local Koa! Beautiful grounds. The pups at the shop are absolutely adorable. Every single staff member is beyond nice and compassionate. We were immediately welcomed like family.

This campground is amazing. You can tell the owners take pride in their business. Everything from the bathrooms, to the store, to the lawn, to the pool is all so clean and neatly kept. So many things to do are only a 1-2hr drive away (and a Scenic drive at that). Activities for the kids every weekend, crafts, foam, wagon rides. Themed weekends here and there. Very family oriented!

I had an amazing time! The staff was friendly and helpful. Everything, including the bathrooms, was very clean. The hiking trails were great. The campsites weren't as private as I expected, but other than that everything was awesome. I will definitely be back in the future.

Very respectful and professional staff. The camping ground, facilities and equipment are very well maintained. Everyone was very friendly, and I had a feeling of inclusivity. My only regret was having to leave early due to reasons unrelated to Skowhegan KOA.

This is a really nice campground with clean and comfortable facilities including separate showers from the restrooms and a large comfortable pool. The staff are all friendly and helpful. We would definitely recommend a stay for our friends and family. The only recommendation we have is for all sites to turn off outdoor lights when they turn in for the night.

My boys and I had a wonderful stay! The staff are all amazingly friendly and helpful, and it was like staying with family with each new morning. The weekend events for the kiddos are well worth an extended stay JUST so you can catch them! My boys LOVED sifting for goodies! The park and jump pad allowed for my boys to go off and have some just-them time and the pool was by far their favorite.

We were greeted by a friendly face and very warm personality. The campground was very clean and the restrooms/ showers were very nice. The attention to detail at this campground is outstanding.

I absolutely love this KOA. I've been bringing my children since they were young and now I bring my grandchildren. It's perfect for families with activities or perfect for couples who want the peace and quiet of nature.

A lrg group of us have camped here for the last 3 yrs. Last yr we paid deposit for this yr. We noticed a fee for choosing site. Implemented in Jan. Not all charged. I asked for refund of fee. Was told they would let me know. Last day I asked and was treated with such disrespect, and women took $5 of her money slammed on counter saying here take it. Also smelled of sewage. We won’t return.

The staff are super friendly and the grounds are always clean. My kids can roam, make friends and be care free while I have peace of mind knowing they are okay! The owners and staff are always watching out for them! It rained the entire weekend but that didn't stop the fun! We love coming here!

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The Owners were extremely friendly and hospitable. The staff was very friendly and willing to lend a hand if we needed help with setting up our camper. The sites are very clean and spacious. I enjoyed the themed weekends, which had a variety of things for both children and adults. We have camped here for the past 5 years and we will definetly be coming back again next year.

We first stayed in one of the cabins and loved the place. We bought a camper and stayed the last 2 weekends. The owners are very friendly and so is the other staff. The little breakfast cafe has great food! Definitely would recommend and can't wait for next season!

Stayed for a mid September weekend at the KOA in Canaan. The owners and staff were very kind, personable people. I did not feel like they were watching our every move like babysitters. We were constantly greeted with smiles. The campground is well kept, clean, and the sites are good sized. The staff did wonderful getting us backed into our site. The site was fairly level which made setting up breeze The leaves on the trees are starting to turn this time of year, making the place even more beautiful. Much to my surprise, they are still pulling out all of the fun activities geared towards kids, including the jump pad, barrel carts, gem mining, and coin hunt. There is also a small arcade with the perfect variety of games. The playground is perfect, seems fairly new. The store was still well stocked with great merchandise at great prices. 10/10 recommend, especially if you have kids!!
