This is a beautiful campground! We thoroughly enjoyed the night we stayed there. Love, love, love that the river is right beside the camping area and wished we would have upgraded to a site right beside the river. The hosts were exceptional, and loved the escort to our site! Never seen that before! lol Would definitely recommend this KOA!

We stay half our stay since Hurricane Lee was approaching. We left after two days. It was fine till then.

When we arrived we were escorted past many open sites only to be put in a site under a very large Pine tree that was also very unlevel. After getting all set up I realized that the bottom of my shoes were packed with pine pitch. I commented to the fellow who delivered some firewood to our site that we had an issue with all the pine pitch. We were not offered a different site.

First weekend we stayed with friends, next to the playground. A great clean place for our grandson to play. Last weekend we were family. The staff and owners are very friendly and accommodating. We are looking forward to staying again next year.

Was great location off highway 2. Good entrance and roads are ok for a big rig. Better to unhook tow car first as couple turns down into pull through lots at tight. Lots were wide and relatively level so good place to stay if visiting that area.

We love our stays @ Skowhegan and the rural setting! The campsites are clean and the owners are very friendly and hospitable! We plan on staying again!

Very nice, one of the nicest KOA's I've stayed at. Campfire wood was a little pricey compared to other availability in the area. Camp host were awesome, friendly, including everyone associated that we met during stay

Nice quiet campground with a number of very friendly seasonal campers. We pulled in during the start of a thunderstorm and KOA employee, Tim was right there to help us get set up right away! Terry, who also helps out at the KOA, really kept an eye on everything and had some very helpful advice! Owners Jeff and Melanie were so nice and helped us out with accessing and printing Acadia passes!!

Have stayed several times. Staff extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. Sites well laid out, store well stocked. We booked one night but needed a second. Staff was able to accommodate our request. This is truly a hidden gem in the KOA Family. We look forward to returning soon.

This was our first time staying here, and we were impressed from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even escorted us to our campsite and helped us get set up, if needed. That's a huge benefit for older campers or anyone who isn't comfortable backing a camper into a site. The shower and restroom facilities are newer and exceptionally clean. Throughout our stay, there were plenty of activities for the kids, including a live animal show, a foam party, kids bingo, a great playground, and a nice swimming pool. There was always something fun going on. One thing we really appreciated was that quiet hours were actually enforced, making for a peaceful and relaxing night's sleep. We can't say enough good things about this campground. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

Quiet campground on a beautiful piece of land with walking trails and disc golf in the woods. Grounds well kept, bathrooms clean, add staff was nice, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Lots of kids enjoying the jump pad, pool, playground and Gaga ball pit.
