Everyone was super friendly and showed us to our site. Bathrooms were exceptional! Wish the sites would have gravel instead of grass. They are constantly working to improve the campground. We would stay again if passing thru the area.

The staff is so friendly and helpful, we love our site! It’s so peaceful here. ����. I help my sisters with appointments and errands and we are About 12 miles from home, so it’s convenient and yet, still a vacation. ����

Staff are very friendly. Facilities are clean. Sites are in excellent shape. Staff were working very hard to prepare the campground for the 4th of July weekend. We had a great time. This was our 4th time staying at the Skowhegan/Kennebec Valley KOA and we will definitely return.

We were blessed to spend 4th of July weekend at the Skowhegan KOA. Was a hot and humid weekend. The pool was a great relief. We even got involved in some of the holiday activities. Candy bar bingo, site decorating (we win a prize), and just chatting with the other campers while relaxing. Thank you Mel and Jeff and all other KOA staff for welcoming everyone like an old friend!

Such a beautiful campground. So we'll maintained. We were only there one night, but wish we could have stayed longer. The team that works there is super friendle and helpfu. They had a great looking pool, laundry, bathhoise, playground, store, etc. Everything about this property deserves 5 stars. Stay here! You will be happy you did.

Everyone is so friendly! Great place for kids as they always have activities for them. Very well kept campground, workers are always busy maintaining the grounds.

Unforeseen circumstances required us to change our reservation and extend our stay several times. Phenomenal staff worked with us graciously and assisted us in a number of small ways that allowed us to focus on what we needed to do. They had our back while we attended to matters at hand.

Noisy construction. Showers are tiny and water hits the wall, not the person in the shower. Buggy!!!! Pool sign said, “open 10 am - 8 pm”. Padlock locked on gate at 5:15 pm. Pot holes in roads. We won’t be back.

Apologies that you were not happy with our campground. The pool was closed during your stay & your husband was made aware at check-in. Construction, we do have repairs that needs to be performed throughout the season and our team only worked for a few hours.

10 stars, This Koa deserves it. This should be the flagship of all Koa's, the Grounds are impeccable, (would have my wedding here) The staff really care about your experience. We had a flat and thanks to them had a new tire the next day with local contacts. We really felt welcome and again we have traveled across the whole United States not one Koa has even came close to this one. Ty

We had a wonderful fun-packed Memorial Day weekend RV camping experience! This was our first time staying with our 4 year old daughter at this KOA and we all had a blast! The campground was a nice mix of kid activities during the day and nice quiet fireplace smores in the evening, allowing the adults to relax as well! We would stay here again.

Super nice folks...do a lot for the children. Bathrooms and showers are extremely clean and well maintained. The workers appear to have fun at their jobs...and always have a smile on their faces! Will be back again that is for sure!

We have been seasonal as here for 5 years. The campground is always in great condition and done with care. The owners are always available to help with any issues. Any issues or requests for wood, etc are addressed immediately by them or someone on the team. Lots of kids activities as well as adult activities like adult bingo and cornhole tournaments. They have pot lucks, Halloween weekend. Family

Owners are the main reason we go. Jeff and Mel Peterson are now extended family. They also have incredible staff. Staff is also extended family now. We really enjoy various activities for the kids and adults. Pool is always clean. Grounds is always clean. What a great first season we had as seasonals.

Melanie and Jeff run a great campground. A very family oriented campground. Great people and great atmosphere. We have been Seasonal campers for the last 2 seasons and camped here for the last 4 seasons and enjoyed every minute. I have already renewed for next year and for many years to come. This campground is not your typical campground but a family where everyone cares.

Great campground to stay at. Owners and Staff are friendly and are very helpful when needed. The facilities are very clean. I love the fact that they have weekend activities for kids and adults. The Cafe is open on the weekends to purchase breakfast and they offer a nice selection of breakfast items. We will be going back next year.

Our stay at this location was by far the best out of all the KOAs we've visited. Tony, the Activities Director, was amazing with the kids, so welcoming, and came up with so many fun activities to keep the kids busy. The campground was quiet enough, all of the staff were very friendly but enforced the rules, and all of the arcade games and playground equipment worked. Will stay again soon.

We had an amazing 3 days. The weather was perfect. The night sky was beautiful. It was quiet and serene. The gentleman that works there and makes a point to stop at all the sites with dogs became our Brute's best friend. His eyes perked up every time he heard the golf cart coming around. I said it was like a kid with the ice cream truck. We will be back next year! Thank you for everything.

Everyone here is great. Don’t remember all the names but each and every person I spoke with was so nice and accommodating. They had just finished the first premier patio spot and we were the first guests to enjoy it. If I’m ever up this way again, will be staying here for sure. Would give more than 5 stars if I could. Great job!!!

This was our first time staying here, and we were impressed from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even escorted us to our campsite and helped us get set up, if needed. That's a huge benefit for older campers or anyone who isn't comfortable backing a camper into a site. The shower and restroom facilities are newer and exceptionally clean. Throughout our stay, there were plenty of activities for the kids, including a live animal show, a foam party, kids bingo, a great playground, and a nice swimming pool. There was always something fun going on. One thing we really appreciated was that quiet hours were actually enforced, making for a peaceful and relaxing night's sleep. We can't say enough good things about this campground. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

Quiet campground on a beautiful piece of land with walking trails and disc golf in the woods. Grounds well kept, bathrooms clean, add staff was nice, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Lots of kids enjoying the jump pad, pool, playground and Gaga ball pit.
