We were extremely pleased with this KOA! The hosts were very welcoming and actually stayed open past the end of their season for a few RVers. We are very appreciative of this. The KOA is very clean and well kept and our pull-through site was ideal.

Best KOA around! We have been coming to this KOA for the past 5 years and will continue too. Owners and Staff are a delight and are willing to help if needed. They are continually updating the sites and bathrooms. Sites are spacious and extremely clean and maintained. Would highly recommend staying!

My family loves coming back here every year. The staff is always friendly and super helpful, the facilities and campground itself are always clean, and there's always stuff to do. You can tell Melanie and Jeff take great pride in their campground. There's always somebody working on something from lawn mowing to working on upgrades. I highly recommend Skowhegan KOA!!

Bao had the best time, he really enjoyed the park, the barrel rides, the candy bar bingo, the game times, my husband and I both enjoyed the KOA!

This was my 5th season camping here. We love this campground, the owners, and people. Very clean and well maintained campground. The owners really take pride in their campground. Wouldn’t camp anywhere else.

Had a fantastic summer. Jeff and Melanie are fantastic campground owners. They make everybody feel like family. They also have a great group of seasonals pulling for each other.

We had a seasonal and really enjoyed being able to come and go. We did quite a few family get together and Jeff and Melanie were quite accommodating. The staff were very friendly. Place was very clean. Enjoyed the activities. Definitely will be back.

The Skowhegan/Kennebec KOA do everything they can to make you feel welcome and safe. Whether you just wanna decompress around the fire or get involved in every activity that is on the agenda, Mel and Jeff want you to enjoy every minute. The whole crew working at this KOA male a point to stop and chat with every camper when they have a chance. This has become a great home away from home.

The site was very quiet, being after labor day, not a lot of kids, the site was clean, the dog park was smaller than some other koas, but there was endless trails in the woods and large grassy areas for the dogs to walk.

Nice campground. The access to wooded trails right on property was great. The staff is very friendly and breakfast at KOA Cafe on the weekends was a delicious option!

It's a very nice park, especially if you have kids and it's an event weekend, which it was. Even if you're old (like we are) and looking for quiet. Nice dog Park and walking trail (With disc golf). Nice staff. Even heard a work camper say she stays there because the owner is so nice. That's praise one seldom hears! Took advantage of breakfast cafe. Good food at good price.

Had a wonderful stay. The campground is very clean and well taken care of. The workers are very friendly and they had alot for the kids to do witch is always a plus..only down fall was all the choke cherries falling at our site and hitting you like little bbs. But we probably will be back and stay agian. had a great weekend..Thank you

We are so happy to report that we have found our "Camping Family" at the Skowhegan KOA! We appreciate everything Mel and Jeff do to keep everyone happy and safe. Things get broke and fixed ASAP. There are activities planned that are open to all campers and their visitors. The whole KOA crew is welcoming and friendly. We can't wait to get back.

This KOA is one of - if not - THE best KOAs we've experienced in our travels. The staff was friendly and the facilities were terrific. But, Jeff (owner) saved our trip for us. We were 4 days into an 18 day planned trip when we had an accident with our travel trailer. Jeff went above and beyond the call in helping me repair the external damage to our trailer that threatened to cause us to head

It was a quick get away for us. Glad to see that some updates are being done to some of the sites. Overall we enjoy the quiet setting and being able to enjoy the sounds around especially at night

We enjoyed our one-night stay and would stay again. Our pull through was close to the road so there was a bit of noise, but we've experienced worse. The campstore was great and we found some fun things. We enjoyed visiting the town of Skowhegan also.

Nice campground and very helpful owners! Unfortunately we entered the wrong part of the drive and had to disconnect and back up onto the highway with the owners help! Also they have a very nice store that we were able to get some great souvenirs!

Staff are so friendly and welcoming. They go above and beyonsd help their campers. LOTS of activities to choose from. Clean bathrooms Handicap bathroom = perfections

The staff was absolutely fantastic. The campgrounds were great, clean and well maintained. Lots to see and do for kids and adults. Looking forward to my next visit. The sites were large and level. If could give them an 11 I would.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The Owners were extremely friendly and hospitable. The staff was very friendly and willing to lend a hand if we needed help with setting up our camper. The sites are very clean and spacious. I enjoyed the themed weekends, which had a variety of things for both children and adults. We have camped here for the past 5 years and we will definetly be coming back again next year.

We first stayed in one of the cabins and loved the place. We bought a camper and stayed the last 2 weekends. The owners are very friendly and so is the other staff. The little breakfast cafe has great food! Definitely would recommend and can't wait for next season!

Stayed for a mid September weekend at the KOA in Canaan. The owners and staff were very kind, personable people. I did not feel like they were watching our every move like babysitters. We were constantly greeted with smiles. The campground is well kept, clean, and the sites are good sized. The staff did wonderful getting us backed into our site. The site was fairly level which made setting up breeze The leaves on the trees are starting to turn this time of year, making the place even more beautiful. Much to my surprise, they are still pulling out all of the fun activities geared towards kids, including the jump pad, barrel carts, gem mining, and coin hunt. There is also a small arcade with the perfect variety of games. The playground is perfect, seems fairly new. The store was still well stocked with great merchandise at great prices. 10/10 recommend, especially if you have kids!!
