Skowhegan/Canaan KOA is our go-to campground. We love the people, the atmosphere and all the kid-friendly events to keep the kids busy!

Love this campground. The staff is wonderful. We didn't get a chance to stay while everything was open for the season, but it didn't make too much of a difference. Next year will book more stays earlier in the season and get a chance to use all the available amenities. Was very fortunate to be able to rent the Bear Lodge and enjoy our weekend here. Thank you!!!

Owners Jeff & Mel Peterson are incredible. We've camped with them once a year for 5 years. This is the first year we've camped twice. We always rent a lodge. Jeff & Mel are always so accommodating. The pool is immaculate. They hire friendly staff. I literally will not go anywhere else.

We had a great time. Our grandchildren thoroughly enjoyed themselves…there was a lot of children oriented activities for them to do if they chose and we all had a great time and would surely recommend it to our friends and family. �

We stayed in the Moose Lodge and it was fantastic. The lodge is huge and the mattresses are very comfortable. The campground has plenty to do and is very clean. My daughter spent a lot of time at the pool. All around great place to stay!!!

Our weekend stay was part of our Maine family adventure. It was about equal distance between Old Orchard Beach, Acadia National Park, and our Nephew.

We are sorry you were unhappy with your stay. Your response does not tell us why. When you checked out and the several times we saw you through out your stay we asked you how things were. Not once did you let us know there was an issue. Please call us to discuss further.

Owners Mel & Jeff are family now. We've camped annually at their campground since they bought it. Honestly we wouldn't go any where else. Never. KOA Canaan is where it's at. They have fun kid & adult activities, imaculate pool, snow cone truck ever Saturday, wagon rides, arcade, lovely playground & fun jump pad.

This was our second visit to the KOA in Skowhegan. We’ve stayed in Kamping Cabin 3 both times and just love it. Everything (bathroom, showers, pool, playground) is close yet still has good space in between. The cabin is clean and the mattresses are comfortable. The owners are lovely and welcoming. Everyone on site very helpful and pleasant. The campground is clean and well cared for.

We had a wonderful time.The campground is very well kept. A shout out to Bob for being so personable! We would definitely come back.Great playground for the kids and clean pool.My grandkids loved it.

I've been to many KOA and this is by far my favorite. Everything is up to date, well kept and organized. We had great activities avaliable with great staff supporting them. My son is on the spectrum and I really appreciated Bob, who empathized, going out of his way to make sure my son was doing ok. First class top to bottom and we will return and reccomend.

Cabins had a fridge, table fan, ceiling fan, plug in heater if needed that I didn't see listed on the website which was a pleasant surprise. Pool was great. Breakfast was yummy. Very friendly staff.

This was our 4th year staying at the kottage and still loving it! We're already looking forward to next years trip, or maybe another one later this year! I'd say more good things, but I don't want people booking my favorite camping kottage when I want it lol!!

AWESOME The park was clean and even during Covid they had crafts for the kids to do at our site, we had our wood and ice delivered right to our site ( No Charge ) the store had the few things I needed, The owners were friendly and helpful with information about nearby places for us to get groceries and hiking trails. Our children Love it can" wait to go back Next Year Thank you

We enjoyed our stay there as it was a quick last minute getaway. The cabin was clean and loved the set up on the deck. Some markers on where your going on trails would help. My other thing was we noticed that there was papers in our pkt to a limit of 10 per site and there was 1 site that had over 20 people on it each day were there. No social distancing there. But we will be back.

My family (husband, myself, two younger kiddos) have been coming for over three years now! There are so many activities planned and available for children and adults! The campground is incredibly family friendly, but also has so many features for adults too. The walking trails on the disc golf course are great for all ages! The tractor rides are so much fun for the kids. The staff go above and beyond to keep the grounds beautiful. The playground is excellent for all ages as well. Our kids think most of the staff are aunts/uncles at this point! We can't wait for our next reservation this June!

Great place to camp and rv . We stayed here 2 weeks. The store was well stock , things for kids to do. Bounce pad , swimming pool Frisby golf and Frisby horseshoe , playgrounds most attractive are on weekends , clean showers and restrooms , staff willing to help, the campground was well maintained and keep clean, The owner we nice and very helpful . We will go back, The area had a few things to do, restaurants and drive in close by . Fishing was close by, nice area for kyacking.and wildlife in area. I would definitely recommend this place.
