The KOA at Skowhegan/Kennebec Valley is run by the friendliest helpful staff. The campground was nicely maintained and beautiful. We already talked about going again next year.

My wife and I used this location as the central location for our trips to Arcadia, Coastal Botanical Gardens, and Lake George. Very quiet location - not to far away from Skowhegan, ME. We stayed in the Bear Lodge .... very nice retreat. Although it was just my wife and I ... this would be great for 2 couples or small family. It would have slept 6 easily. Definitely would stay here again.

It was great. They actually let us in a bit early so we could get to our family reunion. They place is in tip top shape. Bathrooms and cabins are exceptionally clean.

This is our 4th annual family vacation and we love staying there. Very relaxing for adult. The owners are accommodating and all staff are friendly. Can’t wait until next year. We stay in the cabins..

Moose Lodge was great to stay in. Campground was excellent- lots of activities. Everyone was very pleasant and friendly. The campground was clean and well maintained. Definitely will be back!

This was a lovely surprise. Intent was to stay a little more to the south. But we are so glad this was the place. Cabin was clean, nicely set up, sleeping for 5, inside shower/ bathroom, good sized kitchen. There’s indoor and outdoor seating, fire pit, swing and porch. Full play area for kids, pool for everyone, and lots of activities. We will be back for a girls nights out, without the grandkid

The owners are outstanding as well as the staff. We stayed in a cabin and it was very clean! Great activities to keep kids busy. Pool very clean and lots of chairs and umbrellas. Also nice lake not far from KOA. You have to stay here you will not be disappointed!

The cottage cabin was super clean when we got there and very comfortable. There was plenty to do at the campground and the cafe had delicious breakfast on the weekend.

It was very hot, and while the cabin proper was air conditioned the bedrooms were not. But the heat was truly exceptional, a rarity. Main concern was yellow jackets and/or wasps all over the playground so the kids couldn't use it. Those were the negatives, outweighed by a pristine pool and a truly beautiful cabin with a very friendly staff.

5 Star AAA+++, I rented a cabin for Friday & Saturday, I was attending a weekend Hunt Test a few miles away with my dog and this was our home for 2 days. From the minute I walked it I was amazed, very clean and comfortable not to speak about the way this place was put together, this was for sure a real log cabin with all the comforts of home, not sure who enjoyed the weekend more me or my dog,

We stayed in the Moose Lodge cabin It was clean and had all the essentials.The campground was clean ,quiet and well maintained.The staff was friendly and helpful .You really couldn't ask for a better campground experience.I would recommend it to anyone and we will definitely be back!!!!!!

We stayed in a Kamping Kabin with no bathroom. I was very surprised to see a ceiling fan, table fan and a mini fridge in the unit. Electricity was also something I must have overlooked in the description as well. The unit was very clean and the beds were comfortable. The campground as a whole is clean and the staff is wonderful. Cant say enough good things about this location.

Excellent place to stay. The woman at registration was lovely. The cabins we very clean. Very hot but the weather was extremely hot. Pool and bathrooms/showers very clean.

We stayed in Cabin #3 and loved it! Everything was clean and well maintained — including the spotless restrooms and showers. The only downside was the queen bed in the first room; it was too soft and lacked support, making it hard to sleep well. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay and would return!

We rented a cabin for 1 night. The cabin and campground was very clean and tidy. Bathrooms were amazing and close by. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had. We will definitely return.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The Owners were extremely friendly and hospitable. The staff was very friendly and willing to lend a hand if we needed help with setting up our camper. The sites are very clean and spacious. I enjoyed the themed weekends, which had a variety of things for both children and adults. We have camped here for the past 5 years and we will definetly be coming back again next year.

We first stayed in one of the cabins and loved the place. We bought a camper and stayed the last 2 weekends. The owners are very friendly and so is the other staff. The little breakfast cafe has great food! Definitely would recommend and can't wait for next season!

Stayed for a mid September weekend at the KOA in Canaan. The owners and staff were very kind, personable people. I did not feel like they were watching our every move like babysitters. We were constantly greeted with smiles. The campground is well kept, clean, and the sites are good sized. The staff did wonderful getting us backed into our site. The site was fairly level which made setting up breeze The leaves on the trees are starting to turn this time of year, making the place even more beautiful. Much to my surprise, they are still pulling out all of the fun activities geared towards kids, including the jump pad, barrel carts, gem mining, and coin hunt. There is also a small arcade with the perfect variety of games. The playground is perfect, seems fairly new. The store was still well stocked with great merchandise at great prices. 10/10 recommend, especially if you have kids!!
