It was not very kid friendly. If you are older and just wanted a place to sit and relax, that is your place. I have grandkids and they didn't enjoy it. We did enjoy the employee Angela. She was amazing.

I am sorry your grandkids did not enjoy our park. We have many kid activities and things to do. I am unclear as to why they did not enjoy the park. Every time we saw them in the store, they seemed to be having fun. If you would like to discuss further, please feel free to reach out to us.

We were greeted by a friendly face and very warm personality. The campground was very clean and the restrooms/ showers were very nice. The attention to detail at this campground is outstanding.

We always enjoy our stays and the Skowhegan KOA! The kids love the playground and all the activities, especially the barrel rides! The facilities are well maintained and clean. The staff is friendly and interactive and always able to lend a helping hand. They were even prepared to hold our awning down one day during a wind storm when we'd forgotten to roll it in before we left!

This is our 2nd year and plan on going back next year. Jeff and Mel and staff made us feel very welcomed. We had a nice small family reunion. My brother in law and niece and their family rented the cabin next to us was awesome…we were able to go back and forth easily and we had a great time. See you next year.

We stayed there for four nights in one of their full hook up spots. Simple grass pad which worked for us. People and staff there were great, very accommodating and very helpful. Didn’t use any of the campground’s facilities or amenities. Use it as a home-base for exploring the rest of Maine. For us, it worked great and would definitely go back.

We were a long term stay, all of the staff remained as kind and helpful for the entire stay, they would continually stop by, and make sure everything was enjoyable, and were very courteous! We enjoyed the entire stay!

We really enjoyed our clean cabin, fellow campers, stars at night, pool time, frisbee golf up to hole 6, frisbee horse shoes, s’mores by the fireside, and all the wonderful swings!

Excellent campground. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The place was clean, quiet and well run. I would highly recommend anyone stay there.

Nice campground, convenient for our trip. The only improvement I would suggest is for the cable service, the signal quality was not very good as all channels were blurry.

The campground was mostly seasonal guest and it resemboled an old trailer park. The staff was outstanding. Although the property was clean, it appeared worn and could use a lot of updating.

Owners Mel and Jeff keep us coming back year after year. We rent a cabin however we are actively looking for a tt to park there seasonally. This is how much we love this place and their staff. Owners and staff are always there to lend a hand. It's a safe and clean family campground. Clean pool, great playground. Fun barrell rides. Great kids and adult activities. Fabulous place.

The sites are on grass and gravel but our site was pretty leveled. Nice showers and activities for kids.

We stay here often and we love all the activities are for both children and adults. The the location is close to shopping and the grounds are clean and well keep. The store has a bit of everything just a awesome place to stay.

Love camping! It's local so it was convenient as we had a friend's funeral to prepare for and attend. It's relaxing and quiet. Every one honors the quiet hours. It's just lovely there.

Pool was great. Playground had scary bugs during the day which made it useless before 4pm. Grins and facilities were very well kept. Very irritating to be place in a site with an obnoxiously sized boulder that significantly reduced the usable space of our site. If the campground was packed up I'd understand but there were plenty of other sites available to move us to. But we dealt with it.

When we were escorted to our site, it was evident that our neighbors had not picked up after their 2 large dogs. Our escort had to pick up at least 2 very large piles of poop and unhook their hose from our site spiigot. When we were packing for our departure 2 days later, we had to dodge poop to unhook our W, E, and S. There were other issues, but no space left to address them.

We are sorry you experienced this. Unfortunately, we as owners did not know it was an issue or we would have spoken to the guest or tried to move your site. A recommendation is to speak to management or owners so they can help. After the fact there is nothing, we can do to make your stay better.

This is the best KOA we've stayed at. This is our second stay and we'll return next year. The staff are very nice, the area is up to date and clean and the amenities are great. Thanks again!

This was my first KOA stay. I travel with 5 people & dogs so I thought we would try out a KOA cabin. It was a great choice. There were lots of fun activities going on and a nice swimming pool. I would definitely recommend it and would have liked to stay for longer.

Didn’t like the site at first but turned out to be good The dog park was clean and the dogs were able to do their business without issues as in the past Host was very helpful and friendly nice stay!

We had lots of fun not only with the pool, campfires, frisbee golf and playground, but also with the activities like bingo and foam party! Thank you for a great weekend away!

Nightmare children running and biking all over our site!! Creepy man across from us sat and glared at us from his fire pit!! Golf carts going too fast! And no one would answer the Emergency Number. Seemed like a nice place,but it seems it is all about entertaining the kids and not looking after those without kids. I would probably return, not on a weekend. I know, but no choice this time.

Best folks around that own/run this KOA. Very thoughtful about my dog while spraying pesticides around the cabins and such. They went above and beyond with us and our family. Thank you!!�

The hosts were courteous and kind. The facility was clean and well maintained. The grounds were the same. This was our first time at KOA and will not be the last.

We had a pleasant stay at the Moose Lodge. It was so relaxing away from CT life. We are actually thinking of moving to ME. Very peaceful and the cabin was so clean. We loved the cabin and how clean everything was. We will definitely be coming back in the future. Also we were very impressed with how everything was kept up and clean . I would recommend this KOA to all my friends. Thank y

Friendly welcome. Site maintenance average not exceptional. Marked traffic noise but we were close to the road. We should have researched more that although it is called skowhegan it is a long way from the town of Skowhegan.

Nice people but sites we very uneven and I had a difficult time leveling my RV. Only stayed overnight.

This was our first time staying here, and we were impressed from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even escorted us to our campsite and helped us get set up, if needed. That's a huge benefit for older campers or anyone who isn't comfortable backing a camper into a site. The shower and restroom facilities are newer and exceptionally clean. Throughout our stay, there were plenty of activities for the kids, including a live animal show, a foam party, kids bingo, a great playground, and a nice swimming pool. There was always something fun going on. One thing we really appreciated was that quiet hours were actually enforced, making for a peaceful and relaxing night's sleep. We can't say enough good things about this campground. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

Quiet campground on a beautiful piece of land with walking trails and disc golf in the woods. Grounds well kept, bathrooms clean, add staff was nice, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Lots of kids enjoying the jump pad, pool, playground and Gaga ball pit.
