We didn’t do much homework about Skowhegan we didn’t know the tourist stuff was 2 hours away. It seemed to be more for seasonal people and a stop off for a night for others. If you are looking for super quiet that’s the place. If you want to do tourist things that’s not the place. It just wasn’t for us. But nothing wrong with the KOA. People who work there are lovely.

We are sorry you did not realize we are in the middle of the state. We do state we are centrally located. We are glad our staff were good. In the future you are reviewing the campground on these survey's not the local attractions.

Owners both we extremely helpful in resolving issue related to power to our RV especially that our AC was not able to work. Best KOA we've stayed at in years. Would highly recommend!

Our stay was amazing my grandchildren didn’t want to leave they loved riding on the train and the pool activities. The staff was very friendly.

The owners were very nice and welcoming. The bathrooms were clean as well as the separate showers. They had lots to off for children, which makes it a great place for families. Overall, it was quiet and well maintained.

Very friendly staff members, campground was clean and well kept. Bathrooms very clean, nice clean pool and area around pool was clean. Lots of things for kids to do. Will definitely go back again and recommend it to others to stay at.

We stayed in Cabin #3 and loved it! Everything was clean and well maintained — including the spotless restrooms and showers. The only downside was the queen bed in the first room; it was too soft and lacked support, making it hard to sleep well. Aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay and would return!

Very well maintained and lots of activities on the premises which engaged both kids and adults. We love to visit next year also if we do not have any other plans.

Such a jam packed weekend! What a great local Koa! Beautiful grounds. The pups at the shop are absolutely adorable. Every single staff member is beyond nice and compassionate. We were immediately welcomed like family.

arrived at campground and got escorted to our site and helped us get positioned. we took a ride around the campground and checked out all the attractions and it is very nice well maintained and a very clean campground. best of all the customer service we received. we had an issue that night with our air conditioning unit we mentioned it to Jeff the owner and a little bit later he brought us a fan

When we visit family in Maine we always stay with Melanie and Jeff. The campground is always presentable: pretty flower gardens, lawns mowed! The store is well stocked with food items, touristy items and items for the camper! ( and things for all children types)!

We rented a cabin for 1 night. The cabin and campground was very clean and tidy. Bathrooms were amazing and close by. The staff was very friendly and answered any questions we had. We will definitely return.

I rv to save money when I vacation on the road. Does not make any sense to pay for a campsite what you would pay for a king suite at a hotel. I used to like paying 25.00 or even 50.00 , but almost a hundred dollars is way to much

John, we are sorry you felt the price was too much. You paid $68.00 with tax to stay one night. A hotel these days is $140 or more a night. Hope you have better luck during your trip

The campground is so pretty. Everything was well manicured. The bathrooms were clean. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help. It was truly hard to leave!

Convenient location, very friendly staff, clean facilities. The showers were bright and spacious - just one suggestion that you add some kind of shelf or hanging rack (the kind that can be hung off of the showerhead) in order to have somewhere to place soap and shampoo.

Great KOA, super friendly and helpful staff! Place is beautifully maintained and was quiet. I am sure on the weekends it is busier, but there is so much to do it would not feel crowded. Great place for kids to play!

A very wet stay due to rain. We found things to do with the help of the office staff. Everyone was extremely helpful, courteous, and fun to chat with! Campsite was great!

This campground is amazing. You can tell the owners take pride in their business. Everything from the bathrooms, to the store, to the lawn, to the pool is all so clean and neatly kept. So many things to do are only a 1-2hr drive away (and a Scenic drive at that). Activities for the kids every weekend, crafts, foam, wagon rides. Themed weekends here and there. Very family oriented!

This is our 4th year as seasonal campers at the Skowhegan KOA. Hands down one of the cleanest and friendliest campgrounds. The Owners and their staff go out of their to make your time there memorable. Super clean bathrooms and showers. Definetly pet friendly. Love the monthly pot luck suppers and themed weekends. Definetly looking forward to next year when we can return!

Everyone at the campground is friendly and welcoming. Clean, tidy campground. Lots of activities for the kids and adults. Fully stocked store. Amazing breakfast cafe food, Belgian waffles, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, donuts, coffee, etc. Trails to walk on. Playground and pool. Pool is always clean.

We enjoyed our stay. Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice grounds, clean restrooms, beautiful camp store. The camp does have a low water pressure but we worked around it. Thanks for another great stay at a KOA!!!

This was our first time staying here, and we were impressed from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even escorted us to our campsite and helped us get set up, if needed. That's a huge benefit for older campers or anyone who isn't comfortable backing a camper into a site. The shower and restroom facilities are newer and exceptionally clean. Throughout our stay, there were plenty of activities for the kids, including a live animal show, a foam party, kids bingo, a great playground, and a nice swimming pool. There was always something fun going on. One thing we really appreciated was that quiet hours were actually enforced, making for a peaceful and relaxing night's sleep. We can't say enough good things about this campground. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

Quiet campground on a beautiful piece of land with walking trails and disc golf in the woods. Grounds well kept, bathrooms clean, add staff was nice, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Lots of kids enjoying the jump pad, pool, playground and Gaga ball pit.
