Our visit and stay at Skowhegan KOA was perfect!! We had booked a cabin and two camping sites for 3 families to visit. The hosts, Mel and Jeff, were very kind and helpful throughout our visit.The kids had a great time with the several planned activites at the KOA and also in the playground including the pool and it was a wonderful visit. We will definitely pick this KOA on our next visit!!!

Would have been great except for the number of visitors for the seasonal sites parking their cars all over. The road looked like a used car lot. No effort was made to enforce people picking up their dog poop in the dog park. My husband kindly picked up whatever he saw each time he was in there with our 2, and it was a considerable amount each time. Staff was friendly and helpful.

CAMPGROUND RESPONSE / COMMENTS:

Every site is allowed 2 cars max. Our staff picks up dog poop in the dog park several times a day. We have several signs to pick up after your dog and we supply dog bags and a trash can. We can not sit in the dog park 24/7 and demand people act responsibly.

Stayed here two nights. Staff are very helpful in guiding you to your site. Gravel pad was fairly level and drained well when it rained. High light was Lake George close by. We were able to kayak , swim and have a picnic by the beach. Ample parking for our 25 foot RV as we don't tow.

We stayed at the bear lodge Which was wonderful inside and outside my own my only complaint was a wonderful neighbors was play music all day and all night it and on top of it I don't know how they fit all those people in a cabin that was only supposed to have 7 inside There must have been 10 or more at any giving time of the day-and-night some of the guests were using the outside As a bathroom

We are sorry that your neighbors had a big family 6 children, mom, dad and grandma. They were here to visit family so yes they had guests. As far as using the outside as a restroom, we are sorry you did not let us know so we could speak to them and put a stop to it.

It’s a stellar campsite. All the staff was veery nice. Sadly my bf and I had all our meals planned in advance, but next time we’re trying their breakfast!!

The staff are so so helpful. I was having trouble with my slides and they were going by but saw me and stopped right in to help. They keep the place very clean and neat as well. So quiet and peaceful.

the camp site was as promised very nice.the showers were always clean bathroom the same way .I didn't go in the pool but it was as clean and nice ,the laundry room was also clean the peole running the site were as nice as could be also they would bring the fire wood when ever we as for it I would differently recommend this to other campers

Owners Mel & Jeff are amazing. They go out of their way to make sure your needs are met. They train their staff to do the same. Super clean grounds including pool. Great kids & adult activities. I don't camp anywhere but here.

I have stayed at many KOA's and Levi KOA is a 10!! Clean, modern, pool, hot tub, and the employees go above and beyond to help there guests.

Pool closure was discouraging to start. We were needlessly ask to rearrange our camp site and move our pop up which was within our site to accommodate for arriving campers who never showed up. We believe the "arriving campers" were a ploy to exercise control and authority over our camp site. To top it all off quiet time was not enforced.

We are sorry about the pool closure at the begininng of your stay. We do have to follow State of Maine guidelines, so the pool is safe to swim in. Quiet hour was addressed with your neighbors. Please make sure to let management know if there are issues like that at the afterhours # given at check in

The cable was not working properly and they couldn’t fix it. We were there for 11 nights so that was a problem

I am sorry that you had an issue with the cable tv. We do offer wifi that is good enough to stream and we let everyone know what was happening as soon as we knew and parts were ordered.

Great little campground with plenty to do or relax. Would most likely stay again if in the area. Only downside was the small site width, while others around us were much larger. With all the open sites we could have been given a larger site as well. When we booked it showed only 3 sites avail but many were open all weekend so being crowded in could have been avoided.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay here. The Owners were extremely friendly and hospitable. The staff was very friendly and willing to lend a hand if we needed help with setting up our camper. The sites are very clean and spacious. I enjoyed the themed weekends, which had a variety of things for both children and adults. We have camped here for the past 5 years and we will definetly be coming back again next year.

We first stayed in one of the cabins and loved the place. We bought a camper and stayed the last 2 weekends. The owners are very friendly and so is the other staff. The little breakfast cafe has great food! Definitely would recommend and can't wait for next season!

Stayed for a mid September weekend at the KOA in Canaan. The owners and staff were very kind, personable people. I did not feel like they were watching our every move like babysitters. We were constantly greeted with smiles. The campground is well kept, clean, and the sites are good sized. The staff did wonderful getting us backed into our site. The site was fairly level which made setting up breeze The leaves on the trees are starting to turn this time of year, making the place even more beautiful. Much to my surprise, they are still pulling out all of the fun activities geared towards kids, including the jump pad, barrel carts, gem mining, and coin hunt. There is also a small arcade with the perfect variety of games. The playground is perfect, seems fairly new. The store was still well stocked with great merchandise at great prices. 10/10 recommend, especially if you have kids!!
