Nice quiet campground with a number of very friendly seasonal campers. We pulled in during the start of a thunderstorm and KOA employee, Tim was right there to help us get set up right away! Terry, who also helps out at the KOA, really kept an eye on everything and had some very helpful advice! Owners Jeff and Melanie were so nice and helped us out with accessing and printing Acadia passes!!

Have stayed several times. Staff extremely friendly, helpful and courteous. Sites well laid out, store well stocked. We booked one night but needed a second. Staff was able to accommodate our request. This is truly a hidden gem in the KOA Family. We look forward to returning soon.

We were very happy to meet the staff, they were all very friendly, and the owners were extremely pleasant to talk with. We are definitely planning on returning as soon as we can. Thank you for making our stay a joyful event.

We enjoyed our stay very much. We only wish there was a non smoking policy/or area where those of us who do not smoke would not be sandwiched between two RVs with campers who do. Cigarette smoke is quite different than campfire ��smoke.

We stayed at Kabin 2 and it had great privacy, a nice outdoor fire pit, a picnic table. Right across it was a half basketball court, a jump pad, and a playground. The restrooms were close by as well as the pool. Great Kampground tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the summer crowds. We had a very restful stay.

I absolutely love this KOA. I've been bringing my children since they were young and now I bring my grandchildren. It's perfect for families with activities or perfect for couples who want the peace and quiet of nature.

A lrg group of us have camped here for the last 3 yrs. Last yr we paid deposit for this yr. We noticed a fee for choosing site. Implemented in Jan. Not all charged. I asked for refund of fee. Was told they would let me know. Last day I asked and was treated with such disrespect, and women took $5 of her money slammed on counter saying here take it. Also smelled of sewage. We won’t return.

The place is clean, and we like our site, what we don't care for is the rule changing from year to year, like couple years ago they wanted their money upfront before we arrived, last year we were told if we wanted the same site it would be a $25.00 charge for picking site, don't see the need for this whether it's a KOA rule or local rule. Don't like the early arrival charge!

We are sorry you did not enjoy your stay with us this year. We did not charge anyone an early arrival fee this year in your group. In past years we did not charge an early arrival fee but we did ask for a donation of any size to KOA Care Camps fund for children w/ cancer.

Friendly atmosphere and employees. Was disappointed at the pool. A few of us women swam together, and the smell of sewer was really strong and offensive. Everything else was good.

Always fun to come back to this campground - the entire staff are welcoming and helpful. We visit every year with a very large group of friends and they are always accommodating to keep us close together.

The campground was clean , the staff was very friendly and helpful, the owner was very nice when I had to make a change with our check out time. He was very accommodating. We would stay here again.

We stayed in the moose lodge (again). There was plenty of room for the four of us and having the kitchen was really nice. Having a screened in porch and a separate open deck was awesome. The entire campground was clean and there has been a lot of work planting flowers and plants around the campground. There are always activities to do no matter your age. Highly recommend this campground!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time. Donna and Tim were great in the store, and everyone was SO friendly. They had some construction going on, which was loud at times, but it was nice that they were constantly working on improvements. I look forward to returning and would recommend this campground to others. We discovered the trails on our last day, wish we'd walked them sooner!

I stayed for over a week. Staff was extremely helpful, nice and pleasant. I was on site I-10 which was a pull through. It was tight making the turns to get into the bottom with my 42’ fifth wheel but was able to navigate it with the help of an employee.

We come back year after year as we absolutely love owners Mel & Jeff along with their staff. They really make you feel like family. Every year they make improvements & this year our 10 yr old loved the barrel rides. Fantastic addition to the weekly schedule. Because of Mel & Jeff we strive to buy a camper & become a seasonal.

If you're looking for piece and quiet, this is not the place for you. There are way to many golf carts being used, lawn mowing and weed wacking constantly. The staff is great and friendly. They had a tractor running at the site beside mine at dinner time.

We got the pick of the spots at Skowhegan KOA! Right out front with a neighbor on one side and several acres of grass out the front. We used the laundry facilities and it was adequate.

We stayed July 2-9 in the bear lodge. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very much enjoyed our stay. Definitely will be back.

This was our first time staying here, and we were impressed from the moment we arrived. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even escorted us to our campsite and helped us get set up, if needed. That's a huge benefit for older campers or anyone who isn't comfortable backing a camper into a site. The shower and restroom facilities are newer and exceptionally clean. Throughout our stay, there were plenty of activities for the kids, including a live animal show, a foam party, kids bingo, a great playground, and a nice swimming pool. There was always something fun going on. One thing we really appreciated was that quiet hours were actually enforced, making for a peaceful and relaxing night's sleep. We can't say enough good things about this campground. Thank you to the entire staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We'll definitely be back!

Quiet campground on a beautiful piece of land with walking trails and disc golf in the woods. Grounds well kept, bathrooms clean, add staff was nice, friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were enjoying our stay. Lots of kids enjoying the jump pad, pool, playground and Gaga ball pit.
