Our camp site and the campground was very clean(almost groomed). Great job with the maintenance! There was a noticable effort to plant new trees and bushes, which will transform the camp in a few years!

The staff here are the best of any campground I’ve ever stayed at. They have treated us like family every time we come. We love it here.

This camp ground is an absolute hidden gem! Only a few minutes from the state park, down a gorgeous drive in a beautiful area, and it is quiet and peaceful. The grounds were immaculately well kept, the store small but well stocked, and staff were amazing and helpful. Would definitely stay again!

The park is great. The only drawback is the restroom accommodations. They are difficult to access, especially seniors.

I found the campgrounds to be clean and signage was good however the accessibility to the public bathrooms were unacceptable. They were far and few between and the worst part is that they were very unaccessible due to the terrain. To get to any of the bathrooms, you must traverse steep hills and valleys. So to me, this is the worst site I have ever experienced.

I saw turkeys, deer, hummingbirds and quail on my walks. The campground is well maintained. I loved the hilly terrain. Great star gazing when the moon isn’t out. Staff friendly, helpful and accommodating.

The sites are very cool and are terraced into some vertical terrain. My only complaint would be the bath houses. The one near the office had a funky smell. I assumed it was just a high use bathroom near the pool. The next day I tried the middle bath house, no smell but the large trash can was overflowing on to the floor for both days . For the price I would expect a little more.

enjoyed our stay, great weather, gracious hosts, roomy sights, liked the camping pockets(made it seem more private) cool dog park, loved the turkey parades.

This campground is hardly a "Holliday" koa. There is a jump pillow and a sad play structure. The pool needs to be updated. There huge cracks and amphibians living in them. The restroom and shower facilities are worst case scenario.. The bathroom by the pool smelled so strong of urine it was disgusting. There is no ventilation on the bathrooms so they are full of mold and cracked tiles. Nice staff.

We have stayed here several times but it has been some time ago. I was glad to see that nothing has changed. of all the koa's I have seen in ca I would have to rate this one number one.....Great staff, always friendly and helpful. however if you could get mother nature to turn down the heat that would be nice...HA HA, Thank you and we will be back....

We had a fabulous time. Clam, quiet and very family friendly. The staff was always ready to help and made easy and fun. Thanks to John and Frank for their help with my last-minute awning issue. Could have been a nightmare but they saved the day. Karen thanks for the memories and the Burrola's will be back.

The quality of the pool was very bad. It was used extensively by people and the water was cloudy. There was no chlorine in the pool.My grandson got sick after swimming. We found hair in it. We found feces which they took care of immediately at the edge of the pool and the men’s bathroom by the pool was unacceptable smelled so bad nobody could use it hardly. The people were very friendly .

Its a nice family orientated campground. The rv sites are not very big, where we were camped at kinda felt like camping in a parking lot. Yet, the pool, bouncing pillow and patio area was great fun for the kids and the staff are very friendly. The prices are way too high for what it is but probably keep the riff raff out.. good experience overall.

It has a lot of amenities, but we got there late and had to leave early, so our review is skewed. I tried to call to get directions and let them know we would be late. No one answered or returned my call. It is not well marked, so took us an extra 15 minutes longer to find it. It is 7 miles away from anything and is hard to find, so more signs would be helpful.

Need more bathrooms, office closes too early at 5pm during the week, pool was dirty Sites were decent sized, no issues with quiet time, there were some long term residents that need controlled/sites cleaned better

Great place if you are seeking the real camping experience. This location was nice but we were in a location that had lots of traffic, which created lots of unnecessary dust. Reception staff seemed very impatient and bothered.

Had a great stay, just had an issue with the Oleander plant. 5 leaves will kill a 2000 lb. horse. Dogs will eat the flowers and leaves. What about the wild animals they can’t read your sign.

The pool was filthy, no shade over dog run, the people that camped next to us blasted their music very loud until it got dark. There was no way we could get away from it, the whole time we hung out at our campesite and eating dinner. We didn't enjoy our stay at all. We were only ther for 1 night and couldn't get out of there fast enough the next day. We will not be back.

My family likes this campground and we have stayed here several times over the years. Unfortunately, this time, there was a strong sewer smell that was by our campsite. I don’t know what the cause was but I hope it is investigated and repaired as it was very unpleasant.

Overall good. The website said our site had strong WiFi/cell signal. When we checked in we were told since the park was full it might be spotty. The site next to us was empty our whole stay and the WiFi was much worse than spotty. It shouldn’t be advertised as having strong WiFi if it doesnt. Since the park is very hilly it would be helpful to have more pictures to help understand the parks layo

One of California’s best kept secrets. Idyllic settings, top rate amenities, best hostess. Margarita Lake (which only has dry dock options) adjacent. This jewel is a real find!

We did à nice hike (10 mn to reach the entrance) around the nearby lake. Everybody very cool and friendly. Nice pool. 2 days for à good rest.

We have been on a two month trip and stayed at several KOA campgrounds and this was by far the least exciting one. We just spent one night but for the money I thought it was a pretty poor site and campground. Just dirt roads scratch through the hills. Dump tanks and noticed foul odor. Seems holding tank was 3 feet away from my trailer only covered with a sheet of plywood held down by dirt.
