The jumping pillow was not blown up in the mornings early enough (9:30 is too late) causing issues among the children who were waiting to play. The roads need to be paved better and lastly, the signage is poor so it’s difficult to get in and out.

Great space on premium sights. Unreliable internet if you want to watch TV entertain your kids at nights Great stuff for kids during the day Wildlife is lovely. Management is reliable for issues.

Front desk lady very very nice and professional. Way to much dirt, I mean we camp off grid all the time so we are used to dirt. The roads should be rocked or chip and seal. Everyone and I mean even the employees don't abide by the speed limits. Its a dust bowl. Pretty location bathrooms clean just you need to do something for the dirt roads at $115 per night NO WAY!!!!!

The campground is clean and has everything that you need. The bathrooms are clean, but dated and there were allot of stairs to climb to get to the bathroom/bathhouse, so that might be a consideration for some. Our site had electricity/water/sewer, but we only used the electricity for overnight. The cap was missing on the sewer and I found a nail in the parking area.

Had an AMAZING stay! The kiddos were so happy the entire weekend and did not want to leave. The pool was cold, but they still had fun! The bathrooms were clean, and all staff were very friendly! Already planning another trip!

Site 9 is right next to the sewer pump station, for which a premium is charged. Site 9 should not be a camp site . Will come again, but not site 9.

Love the staff, but you can tell they are not supported and trying to keep up with demands. The dirt roads & trees need tending to, and the dog park needs attention. We’ve asked prior for dog park to be maintained, but falls on deaf ears. Would be nice to have an off-leash USABLE area. Great KOA spot, but we noticed it’s been declining and lacking the care it needs. So, we give it a 7.

Both ladies in the office were helpful and great personalities! But there was a dog that barked from 10:15 - 10:35PM!!!

The camp was clean and well maintained, but we had zero cell phone reception and the WiFi was horrible. Half the time it didn’t work and the other half the bandwidth was so low we couldn’t do anything with it. Given what we paid I was very disappointed.

Friendly staff. Great playground for kids. Campsite was clean and well maintained, with water and electricity. Restrooms were acceptable. Location is not too far from SLO.

It was different than other KOA's. I liked how it's set on the side of a hill. The sites were nice and wide.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming. We arrived and the office was closed for lunch, our pass was outside waiting for us. We went straight to our site and set up. Our site housed the sewer so we set up with our tent and trailer as far away as we could. The smell was bad at times but the site was large enough so we didnt have to sleep with it. Having a game room would be a great addition.

I love that the lake is very close by. I feel like the spots are very very small and all dirt. Most koa at least have gravel. It rained and cause of lots of water puddles everywhere. With the hills and drop offs we decided to leave a day early our whole group before the rain and puddles got worst. I think the Koa needs some maintenance work so when it rains it doesn’t become like that.

Nice place out in the country. Built on a hill so groups of sites are terraced meaning you are not parked on top each other. Roomy level sites with convenient hookups.

We’ve stayed multiple times over the last few years, always a pleasure. Site 62 is our favorite. This time we did note that the bathroom (adjacent to site 22) needed cleaning for the three days we were there. Otherwise, another good stay.

The topography of the whole site makes it unpleasant and not well kept due to steep slopes that make mowing impossible. Semi-permanent campers in the same area as vacationers just doesn’t work. Disc golf unplayable due to hip high weeds and extremely steep terrain. We won’t come back.

Campground is not my cup of tea. The dust and dirt are horrendous. The site sprinkler activated at 7:30AM with both sprinklers pointing directly at my trailer, not any grass or shrubs. I was sprayed trying to get in my trailer. It soaked my trailer with hard water leaving horrible water spots all over it and caused the dirt all over it to run off the roof and down the sides of trailer. Not happy.

Karen and her staff helped me organize our Airstream rally, and kept me informed as the dates for our rally approached. Everyone was so friendly. The sites set aside for our rally were perfect, and the atmosphere was beautiful and relaxed. Our group had a wonderful time!

It looks like the last storm was rough on the roads, but your crew fixed things nicely. We always enjoy our stay there (at least 6 stays now at the Santa Margarita site). Facilities are clean and well maintained. The staff is friendly and helpful.

I just love this place. This trip was our 7th stay at this KOA. The grounds are kept nice, the staff is friendly AND accessible 24/7, and the accommodations are still their priority.

Quiet spot in a beautiful location. Rv site was just like described. Dog friendly walking paths and a fun dog park in site. Amazing star gazing spot on the grounds and just down the road from hiking and fishing. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

My review is 5 stars because I like the hilly walks, the nature and my kids did too. But I have to juxtapose that to my wife who had challenges and her father had challenges too. This KOA is top tier if you are looking for Southern California nature. But if you have mobility issues, or looking for something more urban, it is probably a no go.
