Was surrounded by a big group on both sides of our tent sites where they were constantly walking across our tent site. The tent sites are so close to each other. Feel very unfortunate with how this trip turned out for us.

Great communication by the staff. All very friendly. Fun activities for kids. Only 4 stars because my reservation stated our tent site would be on grass, but not a blade of grass at our specific site.

We came up with a group of Boy Scouts from Troop 700, Rescue, Ca after a hike to Tomales Point. They absolutely loved the facilities, especially the pool. It was a great way to cool off after a long day. This was our second visit to KOA Petaluma and we look forward to future stays.

It was very nice, the only thing California is so expensive. We stayed at KOA in Idaho and the cost was almost $30,- cheaper.

We were crammed into a tiny spot for 4 people + 2 cars, didnt have enough room for 2 tents. Bigger spots next to us not being used. We were put on the corner next to a gate that had a lot of traffic going to & fro starting very early in the morning. We want a refund & requested that by email, havnt heard back. Very disappointing stay.

Creating memories with friends and family at KOA was amazing! You have created a wonderful environment for campers to celebrate life with all the amenities one could imagine. Steve was a fantastic KOA ambassador and literally the face of this campground. Even the “chainsaw snoring “ neighbor couldn’t ruin our trip! We’ll be back very soon! Batgrampa and Lovely Lisa

Our reservation was for a grass padded camp site. What we got was patches of dead grass and mostly dirt sand. The campsite was very small with only a rope to separate others that I could reach across and touch the people in campsite next to us. leaking faucet that kept us up all through night, a security light for the rv lot behind us that kept us awake. Not worth $100 night!! Bathrooms were nice

Ce n'est pas un camping. C'est un stationnement pour les grosses roulottes et autres véhicules récréatifs de luxe. Par définition, le camping se pratique en plein air, dans la nature. On est loin du compte dans les KOA.

Was just supposed to be me and my husband and our dog, visiting our adult son, but we ended up taking our grandchildren ages 3 & 5. Everyone has a blast. Activities for everyone. Great staff, clean bathrooms. FYI: This is not a place to get away from people, people everywhere and all around you ♥��

Really nice campground. Showers and bathroom were super clean. They had fun activities and a little store on property, no HOT food on weekdays.

We had a party of 6 families who were tent camping and had an amazing time. The check in process was seamless and the staff very friendly even though it was a full and busy weekend there. Steve was so patient and kind as our huge group bombarded him with questions about how tie dye. We all enjoyed the movies at night, hay ride, pool and jumping pillow. We can't wait to come back!

Tent sites were very bad. They just seemed abandoned. Sites were just dry dirt and dead grass. Fire pits are overflowing with old ashes. Tables are dirty and rickety. Ground is hard and bumpy. Sites are small and very close to neighbors. This is not what I would expect for $112 per night. The website says that tent sites are on a lawn. This was not a lawn it was neglected. I feel ripped off.

Was very impressed with our first stay here, we are already planning another trip! We stayed in a tent site and there was plenty of shade and flat area for our tent. The campgrounds are very well taken care of, pool was perfect, and our 3 year old LOVED the playground. We all felt very safe and comfortable here. We cannot wait for our next camping trip!

Great amenities and responsive staff, however we were in the barren campsites at the end of the property. Dirt access, not much shade. Terrible for $99/Night. Compared to the rest of the place for RVs (redwood trees, shaded spaces, lovely landscaping) these campsites are a joke. I do not recommend. They seemed like an afterthought to collect more money. RV sites, yes. Camping, big no.

The two five year olds I was with rated it 5/5 and 6/5. They loved the activities. The bathrooms were SO nice. The pool was big and clean. Not quite a 10 because the sites are so close together, but my little one had a great first camping experience that was easy for me.

Overall it was great experience, the campsite was well maintained. However the tent site was too small and too close to each other. The campers in the site next to us arrived at 2:30AM and slammed their car doors, set up their tents. That was very disruptive. For tent campers, late check-in should be limited to 11pm. So that neighboring campers can have a good night sleep.

The tent camping spots are way too close together with zero privacy, and they stunk of RV sewage. I love this property, but the tent camping area needs improvement.

Site 108 was has no shade at all. Unfortunately, there was no site available to be able to transfer due to after Holiday weekend dates. Overall, we went home a happy camper.The facilities are well maintained and clean and the staffs were great.

Pretty pleasant stay, the bathrooms and other amenities were well maintained and clean. The store had a lot of necessities that I appreciated (since we forgot some). Overall, the campgrounds are nice and very family friendly . The first night, quiet hours weren't enforced, and while that wasn't detrimental to my stay, I can see it being annoying for a few neighbors.

We live very close to the KOA. I didn't feel being so close to home that I would feel like I was really camping but I was wrong. We had a great time and will likely be our go to spot in the future.

Wir haben mit unserem Wohnmobil die letzten 3 Tage unseres Urlaubes dort verbracht. Es war phantastisch, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Saubere und schöne Badezimmer. Toller Service, vor allem beim Full Hook Up und beim Liefern des Feuerholzes. Auch im Office waren alle sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Platz liefert viel Ruhe und Erholung, das Schwimmbad mit Whirlpool sind super. Die Aussicht auf die Berge und die Weide waren wirklich toll. Danke für alles.
