We come every year and usually have a great time, but this year was not great. We had issues making our reservation and I had to call upper management. When we got there, my son‘s scooter was immediately stolen by another camper and security did not help. Not only that but me and my daughter got locked out of the girls bathroom at 8 o’clock every morning…. This was not a great year…

The overall stay was very good. Amenities in the location were top notch. We stayed at V253. The 253 and 252 camp site hardly had any flat surfaces to put the camp. Everything seemed like a slope and it was very difficult to sleep on a slope overnight. It seemed like the campsites were very neglected because there were cabins and RV sites.

we had a blast tent camping. fun activities for the kids, a convenient store with all supplies you might have forgotten (fire wood, citronella candles), and clean facilities. we loved the pool, the animals to pet and feed - goats! donkeys! - and the big jumping trampoline. the play structure was also great. the weekend was capped off by an ice cream social and movie night in the pavilion. 10/10!

Staff is always quick and attentive. There was a dead rat floating in the pool filter. I let them know they were out there within 10 minutes taking it out the place as usual was nice and clean and the staff is always wonderful.

Went with my child’s school camping trip. The camp ground was large enough to almost a massive group of people. Bathrooms were very clean and worked well. My kids loved the pool and bounce pillow.

Worst KOA experience ever. We usually travel with out travel trailer, but did a quick trip across the USA in a tent. We stayed at KOA's every night.

Amazing stay! Total fun for the kids. You may not leave the campground the whole day. They had kids activities by the hour all Saturday long, pool time, foam party, bouncy pillow, egg decorating, bunny show… All facilities are super clean and staff is friendly. I would highly recommend and we are definitely coming back!

Love the KOA. All the activities! Halloween was so much fun. Wasn’t very happy with our particular tent site. It had to trees, had some weird long drain?, and we kept smelling garbage or poop?

I enjoyed the fact that the tent sites are on the edge of the campground so that it was really quiet at night. I also like the young family emphasi; everyone was very respectful of each other's space. The hot tub and pool were wonderful. My only disappointment would be that I had no picnic table at first, but that was remedied after I made a call to the office.

We were tent camping so the experience was a bit different because the bathrooms are farther away and the sites in our area were small. Overall, it was a great place to connect with our family who were RVing across the country.

we paid 100$ for a site with no water or electric, horrible spot in the back by the storage and had to park our other truck in overflow, very inconvenient, loud music and neighbors all night, worst night camping. We will never book a KOA ever again.

Tent sites were atrocious! They were on the side of a hill which was gopher hole and ant infested. There was absolutely no privacy or shade. You shouldn't offer tent sites if you can't meet basic tenting needs including level, even ground and a small amount of shade. By far the most expensive, worst tent site I stayed in during a 6 week camping trip across the US.

The campground itself was great, the bathrooms and showers were clean, the kid activities were nice. However, our tent site still had animal excrement throughout. There were also large groups who did not follow campground rules and were very loud late into the evening, and there were families who did not ask their children to respect quiet hours. This was our first time at this KOA.

2nd time I've been to this Koa, and really enjoyed our first time there. Unfortunately though, this time we were placed in the furthest west corner of the campground, near an increasingly strong scent of chicken poop and manure, as if we were living in a petting zoo. When we arrived my kids complained about the smell, when they went to sleep as well as while we woke up in the morning. Yuck.

Alarm went off at 2 AM because the septic system overflowed. I had to call the emergency after hours line to get someone to turn it off. The women’s bathroom spelled terribly.

It would be helpful to have the duration for the events listed. We showed up to rock climbing, not realizing it only lasted for 30 minutes; same with the tractor ride, and missed out. Yellow jackets were a HUGE problem! Really disruptive and out for much of the day, even between meal times and when food was put away. I didn't see any traps, but that could help.

We visit the Petaluma KOA every year and love the amenities, the forest and flowers, the friendly staff. We’ll be back next summer.

I needed a tent site for one night, as I was working in the area and needed a place to crash. I’ve stayed at several KOAs on the past few years with my family, and this one looks impressive for a family experience. However, the solo tent experience was only fair and definitely over priced. Glad my company paid and not me.

This is a very nice KOA and we've stayed here twice now. We camp in a tent and 2 of our 3 nights stay the staff put people right next to our site even though there were about 15 or more tent sites available. First night a sprinter van parked with their door a couple feet from our heads. Their two dogs barked anytime they left the van. Wouldn't have been a problem if we had been spread out a bit.

People next to us had 7 tents on their two campgrounds with like 20 people. They were extremely loud and stayed up until 1-3am. My family left early because we have small children and couldn’t be kept up all night. Extremely frustrating.

This campground has everything you need. The swimming pool was super fun and very clean, the kids loved riding the little mechanical bull, both of the stores have so many quality items. The management team were extremely nice, friendly and helpful.

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.
