Great place and amenities, perfect for families, just a little to close of quarters for us. Just felt a bit packed in like sardines, but it was Easter weekend.

Nice clean place,a bit tight getting in spot, put us by water tank and pumps, not the best

Very nice park. Only thought is that the pads need to be more level. Other than that the park is very well landscaped and well taken care of. the staff were exceptional.

A bit off season so everything wasn't going, however we and our 2 granddaughters had aw friends great time. People were very friendly and a smile on their face. Pool and hot tub were a hit. Made new friends. We'll be back.

This is one of the nicest KOA's that I've stayed at. The facilities were clean, modern and top notch! The check in was smooth and the young man at the desk was helpful and friendly. Good job!

We stay here about twice a year we book the type of site we book so that we have large bushes on either side and tons of space. This time we were out in a new area 101 the view of a stack of picnic tables and the smell of cow poop was not we wanted especially at the price point. Very disappointed and not sure we will come back.

We love the Petaluma KOA! Our kids are always excited to go back. The clean facilities make mom and dad happy, and the endless list of things for the kids to do make them happy!

This is our first stay and we were pleasantly surprised with this very well maintained and comfortable RV park. We definitely will be back.

We have stayed at many KOA’s. This was one of the nicest landscaped and best layouts of a park we have been to. We stayed in the VIP pump valley view and I believe this was one of the best sections. Has great walking paths and an amazing k9 camp. When we return to the Bay area we will only stay here and commute to the city.

Site 209 was dirty upon arrival. There was Food on the ground and the area was full of dog food. During my stay, I never saw anyone clean any sites?

Gorgeous place. Wow. Good to walk around the campground, really nice showers next to the office building. They have local wines in the office, that was a bonus! Super nice people in the office, they made me feel very welcome and were helpful.

The wood family has done a stellar job with this camp ground, clean plenty of staff. Safe and friendly environment. I like the cash less store pool and hot tub were clean and available every day, of my stay.

Great staff, beautiful scenery and our kids were kept entertained.

Best KOA...CLEAN, GREEN AND FRIENDLY. Lots to do, and well stocked store.

Very nice campground. Our only suggestion is to post hours for the pool/spa area. It was very frustrating to walk over for an evening spa after a long day of sightseeing only to be rudely told by maintenance man that the pool was closed before 730pm. The night before it was closed at 8pm. No consistency and no posted hours. Also, the office gal simply said ‘it varies’.

The KOA was quiet and clean. THe showers were nice. Will stay there again

Quiet place. A bit pricey for a very small space and uneven, was hard to level.

This park is very nice, we'll kept and kid oriented. Not really a complaint, but, they have A Lot of rules and of all the KOA campgrounds I have stayed at for more than 20 years they are hands down the most expensive. $135 a night on weekends seems real pricey.

The only reason I didn’t give full marks is because of the additional fee KOA wants to instill to be in a site next to the people we are camping with. We noted the request in our reservation. It shouldn’t cost above the existing fees. We were in “M” row by the Coop which is a potentially noisy location (movies after dark, kids party by day) while our friends were in “C” row!

Our site was beautiful and an easy pull thru. The park is very clean and the landscaping is beautiful. There are lots of activities for kids and adults. However, quiet hours were not observed by a group across from us on the first night we were there. The other down side was that we had requested to be near our friends and were actually completely on the other side of the property.

We loved how clean and well-cared-for the facility is. The staff was friendly and our site was spacious. Perfect vacation and we can't wait to return!

Was pleasantly surprised , probably the cleanest place we have seen . Sites are very nice . Was told Upon arrival that only two sites were available , however there were many available . There are families who stay for 6 months move for a week and come back for another 6 months. Overall a nice place to visit and due to its cleanness would come back . Get a campsite with a swing and fire pit .

One of the nicest KOA we have stayed at. Beautiful park with huge mature trees. We had an end site so we had a lot of room. Nice office and store. Store was mostly souvenirs. No road noise, it was very quiet. Landscaping was beautiful. We did not use facilities or pool. Laundry was nice and clean. Did not go down to petting zoo but did see a peacock wandering about.

Very well kept campground. Had a wonderful, large site.

It was awesome. Took a while for the showers to get hot.

It was awesome. We got an upgrade and enjoyed our stay

We felt the cost was exorbitant for what was offered. The KOA in San Diego was also a resort and was only 46 dollars a night.

The space was great, the team was even better!

We stayed 7 days in a patio end site which was very nice but next to us was a huge rig with a full timer, very noisy and running loose, they were pinned up if they weren’t there DISAPPOINTED

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.
