Excellent KOA campground. I was traveling alone and felt very safe. Delivery of firewood very convenient. Only suggestions i have is a wash cloth for the bathroom and a small freezer for ice.

Terrific time everytime. However, the cabins are unbelievably expensive and I won't reserve that way again.

Love the facilities and the campsites however this time we stayed in a studio cabin and it was SOOOOO stinky like a skunk! We barely slept the entire weekend because of the smell. I complianed twice and they put in a air freshener but it stopped working! I asked to be moved but they were sold out!

People working were nice, but neighbors and other people staying weren't so much. Grill was rusted and covered in cobwebs (decided not to cook on it because it didn't look safe). We saw multiple kids riding bikes on the street and almost get hit by cars.

We had a fantastic time like always! This was our 4th Halloween visit & every year we get more friends to join us. The Halloween parade is too early. The parade is at 4 but trick or treating didn’t start until 6. So the kids get dressed up, do the parade, then there’s a big gap where the kids are in the costumes but no trick or treating. Have the parade be later- right before trick or treating

The mattresses in the cabins were extremely worn and soft to the point that you will not able to move , turn whatsoever. There was an incident where when I opened the door to one of the shower stalls, there was a pile of what appears to be human poop on the shower stall. It was intolerable.

V 250 the shower head is weak and the kitchen counter finishes have been falling apart for years. Please glue again or replace. Also, please provide a real knife and kitchen scissors. It also needs a kettle to heat up hot water as there is no range. All cheap add ons that can make the stay more comfortable given we are paying $400 a night. The bed is also too soft and not supportive.

Lovely facility. Well-run, very clean with so much for the kids to do. Love the animals on the grounds. Would recommend that the store offerings be expanded to move away from home goods and towards more food options and camping goods. Also, please put a tipping option on the touchscreen ordering for the Quail Kitchen food truck. Tips are much-deserved but leaving it cash-only limits that.

Our family has been booking different lodges for the past five years when camping with our kids' school. The lodges were always clean and the fixtures were functional. This year, we booked lodge 252 and the bathroom requires a bit of maintenance. The shower head was loose and spraying water in all directions while the water pressure was too hard. There were roaches around the bathroom sink.

Almost all of the ladies at the front desk/store were so sweet. One even went above and beyond for us at check out but unfortunately I did not get her name. We loved this campground. The kids had a blast and were sad to leave. The activities were plentiful and everything was well maintained. The foam party was a hit with my 5 yr old and the movie night was great.

We go to the Petaluma KOA every year and they're always super friendly and attentive. The kids love all the activities. The cabins are perfect for a fun weekend!

We stayed during Labor Day weekend, the entire camp was sold out. Even so, nothing seemed overly crowded and we were able to enjoy all of the amenities. The bathrooms were clean and well kept up. It was our first time at this KOA and now our favorite one! We will definitely be back.

The stay was fabulous, the only thing I will improve to offer a better client experience will be either checking-in earlier at 2:00 pm or checking-out later at 12:30pm. Why some folks can’t afford staying multiple days so they opt for one day, one night, but due to the check l-in and check-out policy those individuals are rushing to check-out timely at 11:00am. Please review your policy.

Very nice staff, very clean, two bad notes, main building near pool hot water didn’t work, tried leaving it on awhile as they suggested still didn’t work. Maintenance guy started with a very loud blower at 8am in the rain and was near our cabin for over 2hrs so loud we couldn’t even talk to each other. Other campers around us also complained.

It was my first time camping. The cabin was great! Very clean. The grounds were fantastic. The employees were helpful, kind, and very pleasant. I came from Louisiana and I hope to visit again soon.

It was wonderful. The staff was very people friendly, the activities were nice, and the cabins were very clean. Just wish we could get in before 3:00 p.m., other than that everything was absolutely wonderful. And I just like to mention that, Noah, was a very big help was very friendly and did his job well. Looking forward to seeing you next year.

Overall, great stay. But definitely areas for improvement. Advertise and/or notify guests that the ice cream social has a cost versus charging our credit card. If I had known that 2 small scoops of ice cream would be $4, I would’ve gone elsewhere. Also, enforce the rules. 1 car per site and don’t let people park on the grass.

The $100 surcharge for a Friday night stay in a basic cabin makes me look for lodging somewhere else. Every individual purchase with a card exposes us to potential fraud. That concern goes away when cash is used for small purchases. It is what I prefer for use. In the future, I will make sure my stays are on nights without a surcharge and I will get supplies in Petaluma.

Our kiddos loved this experience! The animals, playground, and activities kept them super busy! They slept so well, made so many friends, had the full camping experience. Plus we made some special family memories.

We thought the campground was very nice, However was disappointed that we couldn’t rent a deluxe cabin due to having a pet and the restrooms for the non deluxe cabins & tents were located in the midst of the RVs, thought that they should be closer to the cabins & tents without bathrooms. Thought the guest process was a a lot, and expensive in the long run.

Only complaint is our cabin yard was on a hill so our picnic table, fire pit & outdoor space was not very toddler friendly.. lots of falls etc. also the “coffee maker” included is actually a Keriug cup coffee thing. This KOA park was definitely larger and had better upkeep than some of the other KOA parks we have stayed in. We stayed at the park from Friday through Tuesday. It was already decorated for Halloween and had pumpkins and decorations all around the park. Kids were riding their bikes and scooters until after dark - just being kids. Great park for kids - lots of activities - but if you want a more quiet time, plan your stay during the week. There is so many things there for the kids to do - take a look at their website. The pool and pool area is very big. The park is very large and makes for a nice evening walk. We enjoyed walking down to the petting zoo each night. Initially, we were assigned Site J144. It was very unlevel, so we asked to be relocated to a site across the way. We ended up in Site K156. Very nice end location. The showers by the office and pool took forever to get hot water, but the showers in the middle of the park were nice and clean and had hot water. If we are in this area again, we will definitely come back to this park during the week or off season. We camped at San Francisco North / Petaluma KOA in a Travel Trailer.

This campground has everything you need. The swimming pool was super fun and very clean, the kids loved riding the little mechanical bull, both of the stores have so many quality items. The management team were extremely nice, friendly and helpful.

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.
