I stayed for two weeks in early February. The staff was friendly, the campground clean. The price was very reasonable.

The park is great. Great setting, wonderful layout. The new landscaping at the sites looks fantastic. Staff is friendly and accommodating. My only negative is the showers - no room, no water pressure, no hot water. We’ll be back. I just wish the showers were better.

2 of 3 sites got "upgraded" without us knowing and luckily got the 3rd site moved with us but it was better sites & we enjoyed our stay there. Staff was friendly & facility is very nice.

Great as always. The upgrade on WiFi much appreciated. Paying $190 a night and crappy WiFi was not working for me. Smart move. Do the whole park. Can’t cost great much. Love the park. We visit 4 times a year.

We were in the Redwood Grove & didn’t stop to think that it might rain in February.� We wish we would have done our homework & reserved a paved site. Spaces are very close. It is an RV park after all.

My wife and I have stayed at the Petaluma KOA many times and have always enjoyed our stay. Our latest stay was from 2/10 to 2/17/2025. We really enjoyed the crab feed - everything was great - the food, the campers, the Coop. Great job. Fun function. We will be back.

Place was beautiful, employees friendly. Only complaint was that following a couple serious rainstorms my site and my neighbors(sites 42 & 41) were the only sites in whole campground where the mud was so severe that it even ran into the road. So whenever I had to get into my truck I was walking in mud even on the road. With a couple of 5 gallon buckets and some shovels would have taken care of it.

We were so pleased with our stay, we are already planning our next trip. The activities were great, such a perfect place for families. The property is very clean and feels safe. Every employee that we came in contact with seemed to genuinely care about our happiness and they were all so polite. Whoever is in charge at this place is doing something right!

We stayed from Feb. 9 to Feb. 12, 2025 and we loved the park!! Will definitely be returning as soon as we can. The employees were friendly and efficient. The park has a beautiful garden like environment, the bathrooms were clean and the grounds were clean and well kept.

Andrea provided extremely kind and helpful service. The campground was beautiful as always. I wonder if this and other KOA campgrounds would consider natural essential oil aromatherapy in the restrooms rather than synthetic fragrance that technically all people are sensitive too and that have been linked with wrinkles, cancer, and other concerning conditions.

We stayed for 3 nights. The park is very nice and appears to be well maintained. The location is close to many things to do. I would stay here again, maybe a little longer next time.

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.

The campground is nice but be aware that if you need to do laundry there, you are forced to sign up for an app on your phone in order to use their machines that do not accept credit cards or coins. My husband and I have traveled all over the country and this is the first time we have encountered this. We didn't want to have to acquired an unwanted app on our phones and the instructions for acquiring it aren't easy. So we had to haul our laundry to a local laundromat and as we were leaving we saw other guests taking their laundry back after they left too. I complained nicely to a staff member who didn't seem to care. Having said that the campground is nice, surrounded by pine trees and redwoods. It's real advantage is being near the ferry boats going over to San Francisco. Be aware, while there is a local train going to the ferry, where it lets you off is three quarters to a mile walk to the ferry. In rain it would be very unpleasant and no one tells you how far the walk is. It is better to drive your car to the ferry and pay the $2 on the digital parking meter. We took the train once and drove three other times. Other than that, the campground is in a nice setting and near wine country too.
