Excellent pool and lounge areas. Appreciated ample shade coverings. Liked firewood delivery and purchase by text. Freeway noise pollution very unpleasant. Please add earplugs to general store. Many divots and uneven ground in grassy camp areas creates trip hazards; unsafe to walk and difficult to set up equipment. Check-in line not efficient having cars/rigs park in a single file lane.

It was beautiful and relaxing. The employees were very friendly, professional and helpful. The only problem was too many flies!

5=upset that you moved us to a different campsite then reserved. Extra fee to hold reserved site feels like extortion. You have every right to impose whatever policies you like but it seems excessive and petty to charge more to hold the site I choose. 1st time with you and we probably won't be back. moved us right next to the noisy pool.Really amazing staff, very clean facilities. Too bad

What a lucky find. We were breaking up a 12 hour drive north and picked Petaluma KOA as a halfway point. We only booked for an overnight and got a pull through so we were in and out but got to explore and what a great place! We plan on returning so we can spend more time here. Great dog park, kid friendly but still some quieter areas if preferred.

This KOA really needs to guide Guests to their spots. It is close quarters and just like the first time I was there I got lost and it was the end of a long day.

Although there are many campsites- typical of a busy RV park-- this campground is laid out so well that it doesn't feel crowded. The many trees and careful landscaping add to the "in the woods" feeling. SO many activities for kids! Beautiful, clean, huge pool! Highly recommend this KOA!

This park is huge and is like really camping except you have electricity and showers. Biggest dog park I've seen anywhere in my travels. You can hear the ocean. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time. We've been coming since before my grandson was born. He just turned five. We cant wait to do it again next year. I love how its very family oriented. Its also very wheel chair friendly. The swimming pool is even set up for ADA. Which was great. Everyone is very friendly,and helpful. They keep everything very clean. Thank you so much to all the staff.

We have been calling the SF North Petaluma KOA "home" for a few years now! Although we are still considered full time nomads, having this place to come home to is a real comfort. Not only is it one of the most beautiful parks we've ever stayed in, the people are amazing! We feel valued and cared for when we are there and know our rigs in storage are safe and secure. We highly recommend this park!

We have stayed here long term off and on for several years now. The management and staff has always been accommodating to our needs and requests. The park is great for kids to play and always offers lots of different activities to keep us entertained.

I would just say this to anyone considering staying at this KOA: Be prepared that on Friday & Saturdays, this place is packed to capacity and it is mostly locals from the surrounding counties. There are dozens of children racing through the campground, most unaccompanied by any adult. They throw trash on the ground and have no consideration for anyone's campsite. Just be aware!

Not very big rig friendly, tight turns and low hanging branches. Unless you upgrade, your patio area is dirt with Voles digging while you relax. The weekend brought a big group or groups of kids which is ok but made it difficult to navigate to your site because of all the bike and foot traffic.

We love S.F. North/Petaluma KOA! Our mobile work brings us to this central location several times a month. The grounds are beautiful, the environment is safe & clean. all the staff is super friendly, efficient, and accommodating! We are SO grateful to call this resort our “home away from home!” A big THANK-YOU to Koa!

We are very new to camping, but were surprised that other guests constantly walked through our campsite on the way to the nearby bathroom. The amenities were otherwise nice, with reasonable prices at the store and for the firewood service. The tank service in the morning was also very efficient. The text communication system was easy to use. The overall location and amenities are great!

Amazing park. Clean and fully featured. We asked for a different space and they accommodated us immediately with a smile and an offer to move again if we still weren’t happy. Our only gripes were too many kids run amok, harsh street lights and a noisy main road, which seems to kinda be a norm with most private parks. Otherwise it was really an amazing place and I think most people would nice

The campground was nice enough, but for a 40' RV, we really struggled to get into our spot. We are 6 year full-timers, so we are not newbies! But the rocks and shrubs are in the weirdest places, and the dump station was very inconvenient to be in since it was directly blocking other RVers trying to get out.

We love staying at the Petaluma KOA, the staff is great and facility is super clean. We just have a hard time camping next to the long term folks. One suggestion would be is to have all the long term folks in one area. We were in-between 2 long term people, one was totally fine and friendly, the other, not so much, camp site was a mess, kids were very loud very early in the morning. :(

Great place for families. Plenty of activities and play spaces. We hav only camped near the playground, but other campsites look really nice too, more private. We may try a. different spot next time.

For the price our expectation was a luxury RV resort, this park is not the case. The streets are very tight to maneuver a 40' RV. Trees are not kept cut which makes maneuvering even tougher. Our site was not clean, trash and dirty fire pit.

We love visiting this KOA! It is designed for nonstop fun for littles and the adult enjoy watching to kids wear themselves out. There are so many options to stay busy, corn hole, horse shoe, bocce ball, swimming pool, hot tub, and the jump pillow is beyond what most could expect at a campground. You can mine for gems, petting farm, this specific KOA gets high marks from us!

The pad was in need of repair making it hard to level the RV. The check in staff person was just Okay. The price of propane was high at $8 a gallon with a minimum of 5 gallons. Outrageous.

Beautiful and well maintained KOA. There were never any doggy mess bags at the dog park. Good thing we brought our own. On our wish list, it would be nice if we could leave our trash bagged up on the edge of the site and someone could pick it up daily. Dumpsters weren't anywhere close for us to dump our trash.

We stayed at your KOA twice in a short period. It's pretty amazing. Very well kept, pretty environment and has every convenience as well as many extras, especially for families with children. We would have no complaint at all except to say that the odor from the petting was pretty awful. It probably only happens during hot months. Nothing that can be done about it but worth a mention.

Our stay was wonderful. Felt very safe in this campground. They have so much to do here. Everything is very clean. Must say some sites are a little tight to get into if you have a big rig. Laundry facilities are great . They didn't forget 2 much of anything at the park. I highly recommend this campground.

This campground has everything you need. The swimming pool was super fun and very clean, the kids loved riding the little mechanical bull, both of the stores have so many quality items. The management team were extremely nice, friendly and helpful.

We have been travelling through a few US states and we found a park within distance to San Francisco. On the advice of the lady at the RV park we had access to San Francisco by train and ferry. Downtown Petaluma was pleasant as were the access to other localities. The one complaint we had was the state of the main amenities block, it took a good 10 minutes for hot water to come through, other than that a great park to stay in.

The campsite is very well located, except SF, very quiet. true very clean and very nice everything. is a pretty big campsite but offers something for everyone. Pool true unfortunately too because of maintenance work but we only keep the nights there.
